- Pluto, ruler of the underworld, has tricked Hercules into signing a contract that releases Pluto and makes Hercules boss of the underworld. Hercules doesn't want to do that, but he has to find someone willing to fight in his place to release him from the deal. I wonder who might step up??

Yeah, that was a mess. I get taking liberties with mythology, but mashing up the Greek and Roman names is a step too far. Plus, Hades, for the most part, was a lot better behaved than his brothers. Popular fiction using them as a basis (such as this and things like Percy Jackson and Disney) tend to make Hades a bad guy, where he's really more of an administrator who does a pretty good job and doesn't crab about it in mythology.
I'm not even sure if the contract was in force. If Hercules was put in charge after he signed the contract, he should have had control over the ranks of the dead rather than Pluto. I don't doubt that if it was enforced, Hercules wouldn't let that responsibility get in the way of his lifestyle (kind of like dear old dad).
The most I knew about Hercules from the comics was when one version of the Masters of Evil captured the Avenger's Mansion. Hercules wasn't there at the time, instead getting drunk somewhere, and decided he was going to take it back himself. He had the living daylights beaten out of him (drunk, outnumbered, and with some heavy hitters in the Masters of Evil) and I think was put into a coma. Later Zeus blamed the Avengers for that condition and went after them (apparently he didn't bother going after the group that actually delivered the beating, just Herc's friends and allies... don't ask me why).

I don't blame you staying in. We just got home from Belize a little while ago and now I'm resting for the evening. Hazel was all over me for a while and so were the puppies. I love it!
@@dwashbur welcome home my love I have been very uncomfortable and I had a little bit of an upset stomach so what I'm going to do now is try to go to bed for a while when I wake up hopefully I will feel better my back muscles were very tight and all I could stomach with some toast and some hot chocolate as you know the manual wheelchair is very uncomfortable and that's part of the reason why I want to go back to bed it's like fighting with a gorilla trying to get comfortable and I'm really just tired of fighting if I knew you were coming home I would probably be all over you too Hazel and I both know what we've got we have you of course we're going to make a big deal out of it we both are very lucky I'll talk to you again when I wake up later on okay I love you with all my heart Jojo

@@dwashbur no sweetheart I did not receive it yet it's going to take a few more days I called National Seating about 2 days ago and I told them how uncomfortable I was in the manual chair but today it's been really really bad my bladder has been bothering me all day and it seems every time I turn around I've got to pee and I'm getting so tired of doing that but I suppose it's my fault because I've been drinking a lot of water to try to keep my urine clear but I think the Stenhouse a lot to do with the discomfort that I am having and just so you know I got off the toilet just now I am trying to keep you in my thoughts in all the positivity that you give me I had to play slow dancing earlier today because I had some difficulty pulling up my pants which means holding my balance I'm trying to pull the pants up one handed which is a little bit tricky when your body does not cooperate I will certainly let you know when the charger is coming the gentleman is going to call me an hour before he gets here but I probably will not be able to use the wheelchair unless it is fully charged I just hope nothing else goes wrong because I'm tired of complaining about this chair put in september I'm going to be getting a new electric wheelchair and the manual one is going to be history what I really want to do with that particular one babe is get a match and burn it because in this manual wheelchair I do not have the luxury to recline and I would really love to recline right now I don't mean to complain but my whole body feels like it's on fire I'm just not comfortable the one thing I can tell you an early supper so right around 9:30 I'm going to try and go to bed and see if I can get some sleep I really wished you with me because if you were I would love to take you to know you know Nona and you can have the best croissant you could ever eat but haha fair warning I would probably give you a hard time about leaving you could go haha but here's the deal you'd have to take me with you and of course we'd have to make some room for beer and he's been doing weird stuff lately he's been tapping me to get me to wake up with little kisses on the side on the day that I get the charger for the wheelchair you're going to hear the biggest Yahoo you've ever heard in your life I may even write you several times on that day can I ask you a favor it's my mom's birthday on the 14th and I really really don't want to be by myself is it okay if I write to you on that day I know it's not a big deal but I kind of don't want to be by myself and I know that you and I have been through this together before but I don't want to step on any plans that you might have as far as your music or anything that you've got planned I don't know how that day is going to go but I know in my heart you'll be there for me because you always have been and I wanted to say thank you for the kind words that you said yesterday when I wasn't feeling so hot I think the stress level is just a little bit too high right now that's why I'm going to bed a lot so I don't have to think I think I'm thinking too much and I'm having trouble calming myself down after tomorrow I'm probably going to have to reorder some meds anyway and when I get in the electric wheelchair it'll probably be a little easier on my body cuz right now everything is way off but I have to tell you it feels like a nightmare that's been going on for days and I've not been able to wake up it can't answer enough for me well if I haven't said enough I love you so much and you are my light at the end of that tunnel and when I feel that I have nowhere to run you are my safe place and I know you will protect me which in itself helps a lot so if you ever feel that you're not appreciated believe me you are there are not enough words in the English language to express how I feel love you babe Jojo
Have you ever seen the movie Office Space? Maybe you can do the same thing to your old manual chair that those guys did to the printer!
A good croissant sounds good right now. One shop in Belize had some that were as big as my two hands together, I couldn't believe how big they were. All the places give you a LOT of food there. We learned quickly to order carefully, or we'd have to waste food. That's something I hate doing. I've seen the day when every bite was a blessing while my nearby neighbors were throwing away enough food to last me a week. So I do my best to eat everything that I order. Sometimes at some of those places, it just can't be done!
Did I tell you what Halo 3 did to me? I'm at the door to the last control room, after you wipe out all the flood in that snowy area. Now 343 Guilty Spark is supposed to open the door. He's nowhere to be found. I've been all over the whole area to be sure I got every last flood critter, but the game won't move forward. It's stuck. I tried for 3 days to find a workaround and gave up. I'm starting Halo 4 again. It's really weird. I might restart the level and see if it's different, but I'll do that at some later point. For now, Halo 4 it is.
Of course you can write me any time any day or night, there's no need to ask. I'll try to be around that day as much as I can. I put it in my calendar. I'll try to peek in on you through the day. You're important to me.

Yay for good news! I hope you're feeling better today. It's our last day here. We went snorkeling and had a fantastic time. We are already planning a return trip in October. Even so, I'm anxious to be home again. Vacations are nice but home is home. By about this time tomorrow we'll just about be there. Then I'll need a week to recover from the vacation!
Have you watched the Girl with Something Extra yet? I thought it was a very cute show.

We're fine, the Internet here is just kind of on and off. We go home tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. I've had enough of this trip. We've had a good time but nothing went as we had intended. What's had you crying? I'll go beat it up for you, how's that? ha ha How has your weather been? Back in Seattle they've had nasty wind, rain and snow. We're going from tropical breezes to that! But it's home, it's where my Hazel is and my puppies and my guitars. We had been talking about possibly relocating to Belize, but we've decided if we do, it won't be in San Pedro. It's already too crowded and they're doing tons of new construction. Wildcat growth is going to ruin the place and we'd rather not be part of that. Next time we come we want to check out the mainland as well as the island. They have Mayan ruins among other attractions, which promise to be fascinating.
You also can't drink the water here. Everything is bottled. In Catalina they use bottled water because they are often having a fresh water shortage. Here they do it because the water will make you sick.
Even so, we found plenty to do and enjoy. There's music everywhere, I think you'd love that part of it. And we have our very own weed dealer right outside our room window. He never shuts up. The worst part of that is, his accent is so heavy we can't understand a word he's saying! He's funny though. The first day he asked us to buy something and give him "some o' dat American money!" I respect an honest man!
It has been fun, but I'm ready to get back to Hazel.
@@dwashbur 🎈💝🌝 I really wish that you could beat up what's bothering me it's got only one word pain I have been very down and depressed because of everything that's been happening to me in the fact that I'm missing you has not helped I can't imagine my life without you Friday I had such a problem trying to get to the bank it was ridiculous I don't have the charger for the electric wheelchair yet and not to say anything bad about Juanita but she was driving me up the wall she kept telling me that I had to call National Seating and get the battery as soon as possible I really understand that things don't work that quickly the insurance has to approve the charger so that I can get it but this was the sticky part I had to always flag someone down to give me a ride to the bank because in my manual chair I will not maneuver the wheelchair outside I can't I would tip over if I tried so right now I need someone to pick me up and help me get outside when I have an appointment and as you know being dependent on other people really bothers me I really love having my Independence but everybody is expecting me to fix the problem I don't know what part of can't do it they don't get you know what I really wish that I could do I really wish that I could stick them in this wheelchair for at least a week and nobody I repeat nobody would be able to handle it as a matter of fact I think you're the only one that would even get it and do you know what I think you are the only one that really understands the crap that I'm going through right now I'm seriously trying to get myself out of this depression play not letting people get me upset about what I can't do anything about at the moment they need to just leave me alone I played Halo for quite a bit yesterday I really didn't want to stop but I didn't want to delete the battery I was listening to your Lost in Space videos when I was trying to go to bed and yes I do want you to beat up all the monsters that I feel that are attacking me nothing seems to be calming down yet and the worst thing of all is being so uncomfortable the wheelchair that I'm using right now I want to put a match too I hate the effing thing and I don't feel safe but I have to say that I'm so glad that you're home and I can talk to you anytime please please continue to do your magic to make me laugh because I really really need it I don't know when things are going to turn around but it's taking way too long I don't know how much more waiting I can take I sometimes wish you had a key to my apartment I wouldn't have to go through any of this b******* if you were around and best of all that would be no blame the one thing that keeps happening is that they tell me everything is okay and none of it is my fault but here's the thing I always seem to get an earful and I'm the one that always has to say that it's not okay the way things are going well I have to go and pay my rent but I will be back I am going to write you again I have to get rid of this stuff that I'm going through right now I feel like I'm drowning I hope things change quickly and in case no one's told you today I love you stay safe you are very important to me and I love you with all my heart Jojo
I hate equipment issues. If I goof, that's on me. But when my gear fails me I get way annoyed. But now you've said the charger will be there soon so you can get back to full strength. Remember, this wasn't you. This was equipment. You haven't done anything to be down on yourself about, I'm glad you're keeping that in mind. And once the charger arrives you'll be ready for the Indy 500!
Almost everyone here uses golf carts. Your chair could probably keep up with them, but I think these roads would jar your eyeballs out. Most of them are either dirt or cobblestone, and most of the cobblestone roads have a water channel down the middle of them. It can make maneuvering an adventure, to say the least. The good news is, nothing is very far away so the trips tend to be short. Still, I've made some really funny noises as we went over some of the bumps.
We went snorkeling today. Our favorite bar/restaurant has a swimming area and it's full of fish of at least 10 different kinds, only you can't see them from the surface. With our masks and snorkels we got to see them. I saw my first barracuda, among other fish. Don't worry, they were little ones so no danger or anything like that. We also found a really big conch shell with the biggest hermit crab I have ever seen in it. He did NOT want to come out for a picture! It was a good way to spend our final day. We leave early in the morning and get home in the early afternoon. I'm looking forward to that. I asked Namio to bring the dogs when she picks us up, we want to see how crazy they go when they see us. That will be fun.
So I'll let you know when we get home and we can talk from there, how's that sound?
@@dwashbur it sounds wonderful I'll be looking forward to it and I just want to say thank you for helping me keep my spirits up I know between the two of us we can do anything thank you so much for being my support system I'll probably write you again before I go to bed your videos have been helping me to fall asleep without using any medication I have been relying on you to help me through a lot of stuff that I don't want to go through in Halo I'm at the point where you Rescue all the Marines and get the back on the pillar of autumn I have one more set of Marines to rescue in the not part of the mission is done oh and just so you know I did tell Juanita about the cord that she had just gotten for me so that I would not have to keep using batteries is defective so I think she'll have to get me another one so until I get another cord again I'm only playing Halo once a day just so you know when I pick up the game I still feel that you and I stop playing it together it's the only thing keeping me from falling apart and I also want you to know that I put some money on my card today 150.00 which brings down my balance to 400 roughly what do you think of that I'm also going to be trying to do another payment after the 14th to get my credit card all paid off what's the card is paid off I'm going to be letting out the big screen you ever heard if I didn't have the big Verizon bill to deal with it would have been paid off by now but Verizon is always looking for money and it seems I can't escape from them but the good thing is I don't have to deal with them again until April thank goodness I really dislike paying them well I guess that's all I have to say right now except I wish that you were here you must be getting so sick of hearing me say that but I can't help it so I guess you'll just have to put up with me which I'm sure you don't mind well I guess you're stuck with me for the Long Haul you've got all my love Jojo

If you ever get a chance, pick up the Incredible Hercules. He and Amadeus Cho took over for the Hulk after Banner was sent to time out after World War Hulk and they had some interesting adventures with God wars and such. Hercules was a bit less haughty, and wry. It wasn't a long run.
OH! And he became a member of San Francisco's the Champions in the 70s. And during that time, he flipped Godzilla on his tail to save the Golden Gate Bridge. (In the Godzilla finale, Thor and Godzilla had the meme famous inside out tug of war over the Empire State Building. )
