From orange runways to a gargoyle who wears a stone mask... Then the moments where people are asking Don Blake where Thor is...🤣🤣🤣
All that was missing was sound bites of ELO's "Turned to stone".

I'm with you when it comes to the Grey Gargoyle. He's a pretty imaginative character. His power has proven quite a threat to numberous marvel heroes over the years. Heck, he even once beat an entire team of avengers which included Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Captain America, Scarlet witch, Vision among others. Unfortunately, Marvel has allowed the gargoyle to become little more than a standard B villain in recent years. A shame considering how deadly his abilities make him.

1:53 I feel like Sir Nitpick should have pulled up to give a lesson on physics and aerodynamics, while explaining why a paper plane made of stone wouldn't be practical.

I see two things wrong with Odin.
First, there is the whole "worthiness" enchantment on Mjolnir, which is why most people can't lift it. The hammer is still finding Thor worthy even if he's in love with a mortal.
Second, Jane is a self-limiting problem. The Asgardians have been around for a thousands of years. If Jane is lucky, she might have another 60, 65 years left. In the grand scheme of things, it's like Thor taking a weekend off to go to Las Vegas.
This is an excuse plot for Grey Gargoyle and Thor to fight. I'm not big on excuse plots. The first SHAZAM movie was one, where the villain pretty much only existed to fight the title hero. He wasn't planning to turn Nevada into beachfront property, or wipe out half of all life. He just wanted the wizard's power.
Maybe that Don Blake thing has some side-effects of confusing Thor. Most of the time he wouldn't need to borrow electricity from a lamp post. He could call it up directly or focus it through his hammer.

My question is: did Dr. Sivana only exist to fight Captain Marvel? (I am calling him that, the copyright only says the comics themselves have to be titled Shazam!)
Yes, he and Billy are foils but his start of darkness happened as a child when the Wizard rejected him and the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man influenced him.
If anything, I'd say Captain Marvel existed specifically to fight Sivana and the Enemies - especially as in the film itself, the Wizard admits to being desperate and needing someone to protect the world as he's too old to do it.

12:49 this was obviously lifted directly from the comic, as the billboard said to join the MMMS, which was the Merry Marvel Marching Society fan club.

Actually if the bar was turned to stone its weight will not change. The bar will be thinner because stone is denser than the material that the bar is made of.
