my husband and i just purchased your full test prep course and are so glad we made the investment. Even though we spent $$$$ on a two day in-person Dart Drones session a few weeks ago, your material is really helping us make sense of everything. Thank you. @@PeltierPhoto
Great video with the visual helps. Quick question: To clarify, if working on a tower that would require me to fly over 700AGL, inside the magenta shaded Class E space, would I need ATC authorization? Thank you for your time and reply. 😎🙏🏼
@@PeltierPhoto Thanks for your reply. So, even with the tower extending above 700AGL inside the magenta shaded area (not inside the dashed magenta area), there’s still no authorization required? Sorry, just trying to make sure I understand correctly. Feel free to share any other videos explaining it that you feel may be helpful. I do appreciate your reply and time. 😎🙏🏼
@@flhandster4395 correct. 107.41 states which airspace requires authorization, and for Class E, it's only the "surface area of Class E airspace designated for an airport." www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-F/part-107#107.41
i dont have a drone but i have used his photo online course and there is NONE better so highly recommend
That's awesome to hear, thank you so much!
Excellent job explaining this! Lot's of people struggle to understand it and you did a great job getting the information across.
I appreciate the feedback, thanks!
Absolutely amazing video. Thank you so much for the clear explanation on all this. I have watched many different videos but this was the best so far!
Awesome, glad it helped, thanks for the note!
probably the best explanation of Class E airspace on YT
Wow, that's great to hear!

Only if it's also inside a dashed magenta line. You don't need authorization to fly into Class E airspace if it starts at 700' AGL or above.

Great question. I was left with that same question. That's pretty cool we wouldn't need authorization even above 700AGL. Thanks for the info!
Thank you, good information and well presented
You are welcome!
