I'm a pianist. I very very love this piece! And of course i like Chopin. And, when i play this song, i always remember his face, my crush 😂 always and always. Thanks Chopin for made this beautiful and meaningful song 🙏🏻👍🏻
The way he looks at her with that smile :/ As if he wanted to say: "Everything is going to be alright"😭 This waltz and the polish song break my heart every time I hear them😥
@@magdalenadabrowska2394 The very gifted composer, Chopin, had great love in his heart: for great music, for his family, for beauty, for goodness & justice, especially for the suffering Polish people ( Poland was not on the map at that time, it was a conquered nation that would not be free again until long after Chopin's death - after wwi ended). Yes, Chopin was in love with George Sand at one time - yet, he also was happier in soul to finally have her out of his heart before he died! Please do not overlook that Chopin must have loved his fiancé at least as much, if not more - because he was not "conflicted" about young Maria: he had proposed marriage to her. (And, a valid argument can be made that Sand deliberately interfered with that hoped for marriage).
@Me Compelling!!! I once saw an original (glossy) old photo of Chopin... that was taken while he was among friends, leaving a friend's house. Chopin was looking directly into the camera - and the power his gaze 🔥was so startling, burns yet in memory!!! Chopin's presence was compellingly mesmerizing - almost frighteningly moving... Any intelligent person would immediately recognize being in the presence of a soul far superior in force, creativity and grace. It is understandable that a famous writer with an ego like Sand's could not resist wanting his life-force around her...(until it was obvious that his physical life was very soon ending). Sadly, Chopin was just one of many that she had affairs with...and move on to other romances, she did... When I was a young woman, I idealized the romance between Chopin and Sand. Now that I am older - I deeply thank our Merciful God that He protected the man from having his life completely ruined by her willfulness. (And I sincerely hope that Sand found peace of soul before she died...) Chopin himself made peace with Holy God before he passed on - he even received the final Sacraments and was in a state of ecstacy before he met His Maker! ("I am so happy!" - he was able to often say.) It is entirely appropriate that his heart is ensconced in Holy Cross Catholic Chapel in Poland, because, (like Liszt, who became a monk)- he ultimately died a Saint worthy of reverence.
@Karen Agree a beautiful film very well acted. It conveys many truths about Chopin's life and his extraordinary piano music. He was one of a kind. Chopin's piano compositions will remain unequalled forever.
@Karen The entire film is available for viewing online at Amazon... ( For those who have "Amazon Prime", only $2.00 is charged fof viewing rights for a month).

What kind of love must a composer have had to write such a masterpiece?
