- I spent a few weeks in northern Italy with the new iPhone 14 Pro. My goal was to test out the 4k ProRes and 4K Cinematic Features as we ventured through the small towns in the region and mountains surrounded by beautiful Fall color that covered the mountain sides.
Featured footage highlights 4K ProRes as well as standard 4K Cinematic. The only accessories that were used for this piece is what came in the box when I bought the phone!

Wow! Hello from northern Italy 🇮🇹
Thank you! Definitely one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to
The details are just 😱
It’s a pretty sick phone!

WOW 😲
Good job and well done 👍
Appreciate it!
iPhone 14 par max camera so better 😊
it's wonderful video.. wondering what was the month you've visited while do this video?
Can you make compare ip13 pro ProRes vs ip 14 pro ProRes ? Thank you a lot ❤🎉
Did you record in Log? then color graded?
What format did you export this in? I tried exporting a video i shot on my Sony to ProRes 422 LT (big file) as an experiment and on playback it seems to render very slowly after uploading to RUclips.
Step 1 - Find a cinematic location
Step 2 - Learn filming techniques
Step 3 - Learn editing and colour grading
Optional Step 4 - Spend $1000 on a phone
How did you manage to slow the footage down if we cannot shoot at 60fps?
A few of the clips are not shot in ProRes. The majority are. Honestly a lot of the clips were just a super slow pan haha warp stabilizer cleaned it up
I use apple as well so how did you get 60 fps in ProRes since the iPhone 14 pro only does ProRes at 24 fps and 30 fps? did you use the beast cam app?
Fake title, just that.
is it colour graded???
Always!
Nice Pictures, but the 60 fps kills the cinematic look instant an it feels like TV.
Does 4k cinematic or 4k prores shoot better?
ProRes for sure. In my opinion at least.
I wish we could turn off those ugly digital sharpern, the footage would look perfect 😢
Dude make with S23 ultra 8K pls I wanna see it
ᴘʀᴏᴍᴏsᴍ 👌
It's weird. We all know that iPhone 14 Pro Cinematic Mode supports 4K up to 30FPS. But RUclips labelled it 4K 60FPS. So, the title is not true. It's cinematic but not in the Cinematic Mode.Kinda misleading.
Keep in mind that not every single clip in this video is using the cinematic mode and or ProRes features. Some clips are, and some clips aren’t. The whole video is clearly filmed in 4K but there are various settings highlighted. The purpose of this video is to highlight the 2x zoom, and various features encompassed in one video. Frame rate is adjusted accordingly. As to the title, it is indeed intended to be a…cinematic video - just like many of my videos are titled as such. So not sure I’m seeing the misleading part.
@@blainescinta Ok so the editing software exported all the footage to 60fps which editing software did you use ?
