Drove one at an autoshow 2 years back. Great all around vehicle. Felt solid, styled nicely and will age well, powertrain was responsive and easy in and out. In a world that's power and tech obsessed I can still appreciate the simpler good all around vehicles.
Me before video: “okay, I’m set on getting a sedan.. final decision” -sees Audi Q5- “okay back to square 1” 😂
this is legit my dilemma every time.
I would say get a sedan if you have a friend with an SUV or need the extra ground clearance. You might think you might not ever need the extra space when buying a sedan over an SUV, but sometimes you'll see a really good deal on some furniture and not be able to take it home cause you own a sedan 😅

RyanRoadReaper. Word. All the sedans now are a complete joke. I drove a 3 series the other day, feels exactly like driving a corolla but with leather and wood. Nothing luxurious about it except it’s price and it’s design. Completely disappointing

There is actually a lane keep assist/steering assist its on the left blinker stalk. It is a button on the side.
Wow I kinda forgot how well-done VW/Audi’s turbo 4’s are! I think personally, I’d be tempted by an XC60 or an RDX over this, but you can’t go wrong with a Q5.
Do you alter the audio settings to you preference or do you leave them as from factory. I tend to find that factory settings are always not the best on any car.

What tires do you have on the q5 currently?
In the first 5 seconds, I found the perfect reason to buy one, no god awful tv screen in the front. One little one on the dash and everything else staying as it should. I'll buy one just for that.

@TheTopher, I’m currently comparing this to the 2022 MDX A Spec, based off them being the same price. Which one would you choose if you’re buying?
I'm not the topher lol but I'm an Audi fan and I think I would choose the MDX because of its cool looks (and it's a 2022) and greater reliability. Ideally, you could get a used 2019/2020 Q5 or even Q7(with the dual-touchscreen interior) in the same price range but if you want something new, I'd say get the MDX if u want reliability and cool looks but get the Q5 if u want a smoother, more well-rounded ride with German luxury.
The MDX is a Q7 competitor. The RDX competes with this Q5. They are very close in performance and driving dynamics
@@RomaneMaticaliseGordon, I understand that it doesn’t compete with the MDX, but it’s the same price as the MDX A SPEC model. The RDX is nice, but I want something a little more upscale.

@@ajlee6933 gotcha, well the MDX is a top contender and is the top seller in its class. It’s an Acura so it will be fun to drive, you get more luxury, more space two more cylinders, a third row. If it’s the same price as this Q5 then it’s a win-win. A Q7 competitor for the price of a Q5. I wish you all the best on your buying journey

I have a 2018 Premium Plus since its release and i don’t think these subtle changes are improvements. Nevertheless, amazing sporty family vehicle and you can fit a lot of stuff in it!
Same one got it at release, that big turbo is really starting to eat at the engine. already burned a quart of oil and had to top it off at the dealership. Only have another year with it so 🤷♂ but I would be weary.

I really like this new facelift. The 2018-2020 was too dynamic looking. Audi is going back to their roots of simplistic elegance. I like it.
My biggest gripe is that you can’t get the S-Line package on the 45tfsi in the US.

I never attempt to wash my vehicle when it's less than 20° degrees. Especially when there's salt and ice on the ground. It's gonna get dirty by the time you drive off

I'm now driving a superior vehicle but still a bit hooked on viewing car reviews. I've cut out most reviewers but still follow you, the best in my opinion because your so thorough but I suspect you'll fall by the wayside pretty soon too.
Driving a Tesla is just so relaxing. I just came back from a couple of errands and stopped by the supercharger up the street to charge up to 302 miles.
