Actually I don’t think Foop has a British accent to sound like Stewie. He has a British accent because his father also does. Traits usually carry on from the parents.
I’ve always been under the impression that Chicken Poofs is one of the more better episodes of Season 7. I’m willing to bet the only reason why a handful of people seem to outright hate it without an explanation is simply because of Poof and that’s it. That being said, Chicken Poofs is one of my favorite episodes revolving around Poof. I actually enjoyed the concept of him having chicken pox and sneezing on everyone in town while Timmy and Cosmo attempt to catch him and bring him back to the doctor to cure him and also trying to save everyone in town as well. If the premise was just Poof staying at home or the clinic while Timmy, Cosmo and Wanda take care of him, then the whole episode would have no slapstick and would have been pretty boring.

44:00 Tucker from Danny Phantom has a pear computer too in season 1 episode 14 (13 the episode where Jazz dates Johnny 13 and Tuckers tries to lose the label Bad Luck Tuck)
I've been keeping track of how many episodes got which rating & here's the current results: 102 Good episodes 52 OK episodes 46 Bad episodes So despite having alot of OK seasons, the quantity of good episodes holds up REALLY strong! Even in the OK seasons, the good still mostly outnumbers the others! And speaking of seasons... We have 4 good seasons (1, 4, 5 & 8) with 4 OK seasons (2, 3, 6 & 7) So it's half & half through & not 1 bad season! So this show was certainly more promising than SpongeBob. Which is... Sad really.
SpongeBob had more care from the producers and writers than the Fairly OddParents. I didn't despise the post-season 4 era of SpongeBob SquarePants honestly.
There's actually 53 Okay, I think, since there was the 1st Timmy Jimmy crossover that was a season 4 bonus. But, you are right, there’s still more good than okay and bad combined at this point. Now I have a speech that’s similar to the SpongeBob speech said by PieGuyRulz at the end of his SpongeBob season 5 review. If Fairly OddParents wasn’t such a cash-cow, the show would definitely have been canceled right here. And you know what, I would have been fine with that. If we have had 4 Amazing Seasons (1, 4, 5 & 8), 1 Lukewarm one that’s technically Good (6 has an interesting more good percentage than 8; 60.4% > 60%), and 3 ones that had some really good episodes and some really bad episodes (2, 3 & 7), I would be perfectly fine with it. While the entire vibe of most of the episodes in season 7 does not feel the same as seasons 1-5, or even seasons 6 & 8, it manages to do its own thing, it takes a lot of risks. Granted, it doesn’t work a lot of the time when it takes these risks, but they were trying to make an effort to mix it up a little bit, and I respect them for it. Was it worth it to have all of those bad episodes to get all of these good episodes, up to season 8? Yes! I would say up to this point, sure. Because there really is more good episodes in total than there are okay and bad episodes combined. Up to this point. But what about the whole show? Well, I really can’t say more until I see the review of the next season. And as far as season 9 goes, he haven’t seen most of these episodes, so he’s going to have his fingers crossed that they’ll be okay, with maybe some good, especially because of the episodes many FOP fans they have seen of season 9…they're REALLY BAD!
Yeah. And now, I would like to show how these seasons are currently ranked: seasons 1-8: 1. Season 1: 8 Good, 4 Okay, 1 Bad = 76.92% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity) 2. Season 5: 23 Good, 7 Okay, 6 Bad = 73.61% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity) 3. Season 4: 15 Good, 10 Okay, 4 Bad = 68.97% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity) 4. Season 6: 11 Good, 7 Okay, 6 Bad = 60.42% Good: quantity = Okay; quality = Good; overall: Good Season (Quality over Quantity, has better quality than Season 8, which is another Good Season) 5. Season 8: 3 Good, 2 Bad = 60% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity) 6. Season 2: 10 Good, 8 Okay, 6 Bad = 58.33% Good = Okay Season (quantity wins, but quality is okay) 7. Season 3: 14 Good, 8 Okay, 9 Bad = 58.06% Good = Okay Season (quantity wins, but quality is okay) 8. Season 7: 18 Good, 9 Okay, 12 Bad = 57.69% Good = Okay Season (quantity wins, but quality is okay) I believe season 6 is a unique kind of good, since it has more quality than season 8, which was a light good. This is a unique and interesting case of Quality Over Quantity.
My opening speech (similar to how Pie Guy opened his SpongeBob Season 5 review): Well, we have now officially entered the fan-fiction era, we are out of the canon era. From season 7 until the end, we have a fan-fiction Fairly OddParents, that is kind of funny to think about. This era is non-canon to the show, according to WickedBinge, but let’s see if we can find some entertainment here. My history with these seasons is that I’ve seen pretty much every episode exactly once prior to this review. There are a few episodes I haven’t seen, maybe like 3 or 4, as well as a few episodes that I’ve seen more than once, like "Add-a-Dad". It’s been a long time since I’ve seen any of these, so going into this review, I had very little expectations one way or the other. Only 2 things before we dive in. Firstly, there are obvious spoilers for these 2 seasons, although it doesn’t matter that much in this fan-fiction era, but still, thought I’d point that out. And secondly, these seasons are where people seem to get really mixed on what to rate these episodes, so even if you agree with me pretty much on everything up to this point, be prepared to not agree with some of my opinions, it’s perfectly fine, as long as your polite about it, and in fact, I’d statistically be very surprised if you did agree with me on everything. With all that said, season 7 contains already a lot of episodes, and so adding another season on top of that, means we basically have to get moving right now.
How likely will *Season 7* air a Bad episode? 5. Anti-Poof 10. Add A Dad 15. Temporary Fairy 20. Super Zero 25. Dadbracadabra 30. Boss Of Me 35. Playdate Of Doom/Teacher's Pet 40. Manic Mom Day 45. Beach Blanket Bozos 50. Lights Out 55%. Farm Pit
I thought you gave up on this... Glad for you to still stick around! I have a love-hate relationship with season 7 & 8. On the one hand: Those were the seasons I grew up with mostly due to me being born on the late 2000's. On the other hand: After looking back on these, I realized how much hot garbage there was in this... Especially in season 8 where they turn the entire series 180 degrees just for ratings.
These reviews are typically spaced like 6-8 months apart so I imagine we could probably expect Season 9 in February-April 2024 and Season 10 sometime in late 2024.
Yikes, you could definitely feel the downfall of the show by these 2 seasons alone. However, BE WARNED, Braden! You most likely won’t come back the same after Seasons 9 and 10. I mean, you probably won’t be as annoyed by it like others were after you’ve tackled Fairly Odder, but I thought you should still take that in mind, because… Oh boy, the headaches you’re going to go through… Good luck, buddy, you’ll need it a lot. A LOT…
@Qmbwv Yeah, I agree, Playdate of Doom is abysmal. I had enough of this kind of episodes. I never liked them once, even from classic cartoons. It deserves to be #2 AT LEAST.
@@hectorthecartoonandvideoga9328 Considering there were much more episodes he disliked in this season, though… That’s quite surprising. Yet again, he did consider season 5 to be the best season despite including the absolute worst episode of the whole show, "It’s a Wishful Life". Perhaps it doesn’t say much.
On the surface 8 looks good because 3 gold 2 bad BUT the tv movie which is double the length of the others means 50% of the season he considers bad 50% good so 8 think it would’ve made more sense if he ranked it okay
I’m actually still in disbelief. How on earth were Crocker Shocker and Frenemy Mine not rated bad or even ok? Those are some of my most hated episodes of the entire series
Here is how the icons would change for the bad episodes of season 7: Anti-poof: spilled milk bottle Add-a-dad: damaged shoe rocket Temporary fairy: ripped guarantee Super zero: no sign on the cosmo logo Dadbracadabra: sliced in half hat Boss of me: broken pencil Playdate of doom: ripped banner Teacher's pet: damaged clock Manic mom day: credit card cut in half Beach blanket bozos: broken surf board Lights out: damaged book Farm pit: dried up corn Now for season 8 Love triangle: damaged briefcase Timmy's secret wish: moldy bacon
Isn't there actually 4 good seasons? If I recall you also gave Season 4 a good. But regardless, good luck with season 9, which is when most will say the show REALLY went downhill.
I made a discussion post about what I would change about Crock Talk, including Mr. Turner and Mrs. Turner not appearing in the episode, Crocker making his students, including A.J, Chester, Francis, Sanjay, Elmer and even Tooty having supporting roles, and a different kind of ending.
A majority of the episodes centered on Crocker and/or Timmy's dad in these seasons are mostly boring (such as Dad Overboard, Invasion of the Dads, Crocker of Gold, Crock Talk, Formula for Disaster, and Operation: Dinkleberg) or flat out bad (such as Crocker Shocker and Farm Pit) as they are often presented as filler-ish running jokes which eventually became their only character traits in Seasons 9 and 10. Crocker Shocker started out perfectly fine until midway through the episode. Operation: Dinkleberg is an okay episode but it's never explained as to why Timmy's dad hates Dinkleberg, not to mention Timmy's dad gets way too much screen time usually for nothing more than boring running jokes as I pointed it out before. Also, Super Zero should have been a Crimson Chin-centric plot rather than a Cosmo-centric plot. That episode is very basic.
14:00 Because he spent the majority of the review talking about the fun fact, I feel like the episode(Without The Fun Fact) would have gotten An *Okay* .

Well, Those Are My Opinions of BradenINSANE'S Best Episodes Per Season. Honestly, I Don't Know What your favorite episode will be in season 9 and 10, but hopefully it leaves an impact on u and to us.
Frenemy Mine is a terrible episode because of the tiresome Status Quo Is God trope that has been severely overused on not only Vicky herself but the show in general. I hate how the writers pulled the typical “Timmy helps Vicky and she becomes nice until it proves too much for Timmy, who now has to revert Vicky back to her evil self again” like they did in previous Vicky-centric plots. The Status Quo Is God trope is what mainly killed the show. People keep forgetting or ignoring that.
Literally who cares for the status quo trope? It’s always been around since the earliest seasons of the show and it’s not like Fairly OddParents is a very story heavy show anyway, so most people aren’t bothered by the status quo trope no matter how tired or overused it is

Honestly I can see at least what they were trying to do with Chloe. They were trying to make her a optimistic sweet girl. Also with possible ADHD. And afraid of being imperfect. That's actually a great idea for a character. The problem is. They didn't write her correctly like that. And that's a huge problem when your trying to make a new character to be relatable. I will admit though. I like Chloe's design at least. The colors contrast nicely too.
Contrary to all the clowns on the Season 6 and Poof hate train I know often say, these seasons are where the show started to go downhill for a variety of reasons until it drained altogether by Seasons 9 and 10. Plain and simple. Here is my ranking: Anti-Poof - Good Add-a-Dad - Decent Squirrely Puffs - Decent Micecapades - Good Formula for Disaster - Meh Bad Heir Day - Decent Freaks & Greeks - Meh Fly Boy - Good Temporary Fairy - Bad (Jorgen is just a forced plot device for the whole episode and he even breaks Da Rules despite being the leader of Fairy World,, which eventually became his character in Seasons 9 and 10; also, this episode is a copycat of Season 2's "A Mile In My Shoe" and Jorgen spends the rest of the episode torturing Timmy non-stop) Crocker Shocker - Bad (mainly the second half of the episode) Super Zero - Meh Dadbra-Cadabra - Good (IMO, the only Crocker/Timmy's dad-centric plot done right in the later seasons) Timmy Turnip - Okay One Man Banned - Meh Frenemy Mine - Bad Chicken Poofs - Good Stupid Cupid - Bad (this episode feels like a watered down version of that Ed, Edd n Eddy Valentine's Day special) Double-Oh Schnozmo! - Meh (this episode destroys the continuity from the Season 5 episode, Grand Plan) Planet Poof - Meh The Boss of Me - Good He Poofs He Scores! - Good Playdate of Doom - Bad (Foop's second appearance but poorly executed as Jorgen, Cosmo and Wanda are way too out of character in this episode since they trusted Foop far too easily despite the fact that he is still new to the table, and on top of that, the absence of Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda for no real reason, a trend that continues for the rest of the show sadly) Teacher's Pet - Amazing (Originally, I thought this episode was going to be generic due to the vague description of the premise but it turned out to be amazing and one of the best Crocker episodes ever) Manic Mom-Day - Meh Crocker of Gold - Meh Beach Blanket Bozos - Decent Poltergeeks - Okay (although a lame parody of Danny Phantom to be completely honest) Old Man and the C- - Decent Balance of Flour - Great Food Fight - Great Please Don't Feed the Turners - Okay Take and Fake - Bad (character flanderization moments and ignoring continuity) Cosmo Rules - Bad (character flanderization moments and ignoring continuity) Lights Out - Bad (character flanderization moments and ignoring continuity) Dad Overboard - Meh (Crocker is just a pointless and unfunny gag in this episode) Farm Pit - Bad (This episode showcases the worst out of Timmy's parents, especially Dad) Crock Talk - Meh (just a Crocker torture porn) Spellementary School - Meh (Poof and Foop's dynamic isn't interesting and on top of that, still no signs of Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda sadly) Operation: Dinkleberg - Okay Love Triangle - Meh Timmy’s Secret Wish - Bad Invasion of the Dads - Meh When Losers Attack - Okay Meet the OddParents - Decent Both seasons 7 and 8 are average - 5/10.

The former episode is just the usual jokes out of Crocker and Timmy’s parents while the latter episode is the typical trope of the innocent character getting blamed despite no wrongdoings. Not to mention no Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda together with Foop. Just Foop alone sadly.
And yea I can guarantee some people like Tootie better than Trixie because Trixie is the worst. I don't care if Tootie is ur least favorite. It is a fact.
Same here. That’s why I like NICKtendo’s review of Seasons 6-8 way better than everyone else’s reviews on them. He’s fair, thoughtful, critical and straight on point for the most part. This BradenINSANE guy on the other hand…I don’t even know.
@@Brewart2012 If you’re referring to his most recent FOP video where he reviewed each episode of the entire series, no I haven’t watched it yet. But his previous videos of FOP, he’s clearly on the Poof and Season 6 hate train and cannot grasp through the concept of Poof working thematically for the show compared to Sparky and Chloe. He did say that Fairly OddBaby was decent though, thankfully.

@@fro-zone2kI’d say Lights Out is the worst episode in Season 7 because of how Timmy was horrendously abused by Cosmo and Wanda just for reading Poof a bedtime story, as well as Tootie, and because most of the episode only takes place in the dark where only the characters’ eyes are seen and shown, which makes for lazy animation. The whole episode’s mean spirited humor is actually worse than Season 5’s It’s a Wishful Life since Cosmo and Wanda are suppose to equally love Timmy the same way as Poof, only to repeatedly abuse him in the whole episode. Crocker Shocker was good only in the first half.

@@nathanielmelanson228 And I wished Season 9 wasn't so bad...
Yeah. And now, I would like to show how these seasons are currently ranked: seasons 1-8:
1. Season 1: 8 Good, 4 Okay, 1 Bad = 76.92% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity)
2. Season 5: 23 Good, 7 Okay, 6 Bad = 73.61% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity)
3. Season 4: 15 Good, 10 Okay, 4 Bad = 68.97% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity)
4. Season 6: 11 Good, 7 Okay, 6 Bad = 60.42% Good: quantity = Okay; quality = Good; overall: Good Season (Quality over Quantity, has better quality than Season 8, which is another Good Season)
5. Season 8: 3 Good, 2 Bad = 60% Good = Good Season (in terms of both quality and quantity)
6. Season 2: 10 Good, 8 Okay, 6 Bad = 58.33% Good = Okay Season (quantity wins, but quality is okay)
7. Season 3: 14 Good, 8 Okay, 9 Bad = 58.06% Good = Okay Season (quantity wins, but quality is okay)
8. Season 7: 18 Good, 9 Okay, 12 Bad = 57.69% Good = Okay Season (quantity wins, but quality is okay)
I believe season 6 is a unique kind of good, since it has more quality than season 8, which was a light good.

I can't wait for you to do Season 9 and 10 Brandon. You are going to be in pain throughout these bad seasons! And when will they be planned anyway...

Farm pit’s suicide alone makes it my least favorite episode of the whole show.
Here is how the icons would change for the bad episodes of season 7:
Anti-poof: spilled milk bottle
Add-a-dad: damaged shoe rocket
Temporary fairy: ripped guarantee
Super zero: no sign on the cosmo logo
Dadbracadabra: sliced in half hat
Boss of me: broken pencil
Playdate of doom: ripped banner
Teacher's pet: damaged clock
Manic mom day: credit card cut in half
Beach blanket bozos: broken surf board
Lights out: damaged book
Farm pit: dried up corn
Now for season 8
Love triangle: damaged briefcase
Timmy's secret wish: moldy bacon

It's possible that he might have considered season 8 to be better than 4 because it had a better percentage of good episodes.
Great video Braden I just want to say Lord help you with the last two seasons because they are rough

Oh my gosh! I smell vintage episodes of this animated show.
Agreed
Literally who cares for the status quo trope? It’s always been around since the earliest seasons of the show and it’s not like Fairly OddParents is a very story heavy show anyway, so most people aren’t bothered by the status quo trope no matter how tired or overused it is

Great video! Good luck with Seasons 9 and 10! Man, those seasons suck! Especially Season 10 with... HER. If you know, you know.

Here is my ranking:
Anti-Poof - Good
Add-a-Dad - Decent
Squirrely Puffs - Decent
Micecapades - Good
Formula for Disaster - Meh
Bad Heir Day - Decent
Freaks & Greeks - Meh
Fly Boy - Good
Temporary Fairy - Bad (Jorgen is just a forced plot device for the whole episode and he even breaks Da Rules despite being the leader of Fairy World,, which eventually became his character in Seasons 9 and 10; also, this episode is a copycat of Season 2's "A Mile In My Shoe" and Jorgen spends the rest of the episode torturing Timmy non-stop)
Crocker Shocker - Bad (mainly the second half of the episode)
Super Zero - Meh
Dadbra-Cadabra - Good (IMO, the only Crocker/Timmy's dad-centric plot done right in the later seasons)
Timmy Turnip - Okay
One Man Banned - Meh
Frenemy Mine - Bad
Chicken Poofs - Good
Stupid Cupid - Bad (this episode feels like a watered down version of that Ed, Edd n Eddy Valentine's Day special)
Double-Oh Schnozmo! - Meh (this episode destroys the continuity from the Season 5 episode, Grand Plan)
Planet Poof - Meh
The Boss of Me - Good
He Poofs He Scores! - Good
Playdate of Doom - Bad (Foop's second appearance but poorly executed as Jorgen, Cosmo and Wanda are way too out of character in this episode since they trusted Foop far too easily despite the fact that he is still new to the table, and on top of that, the absence of Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda for no real reason, a trend that continues for the rest of the show sadly)
Teacher's Pet - Amazing (Originally, I thought this episode was going to be generic due to the vague description of the premise but it turned out to be amazing and one of the best Crocker episodes ever)
Manic Mom-Day - Meh
Crocker of Gold - Meh
Beach Blanket Bozos - Decent
Poltergeeks - Okay (although a lame parody of Danny Phantom to be completely honest)
Old Man and the C- - Decent
Balance of Flour - Great
Food Fight - Great
Please Don't Feed the Turners - Okay
Take and Fake - Bad (character flanderization moments and ignoring continuity)
Cosmo Rules - Bad (character flanderization moments and ignoring continuity)
Lights Out - Bad (character flanderization moments and ignoring continuity)
Dad Overboard - Meh (Crocker is just a pointless and unfunny gag in this episode)
Farm Pit - Bad (This episode showcases the worst out of Timmy's parents, especially Dad)
Crock Talk - Meh (just a Crocker torture porn)
Spellementary School - Meh (Poof and Foop's dynamic isn't interesting and on top of that, still no signs of Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda sadly)
Operation: Dinkleberg - Okay
Love Triangle - Meh
Timmy’s Secret Wish - Bad
