Poof aka Peri and Foop aka Irep are some of my favorite characters. Unfortunately the reboot didn’t do their frenemy relationship justice. The reboot I’m referring to is a new wish. Look. I get the original had its problems. But Poof and Foop learning to forgive each other wasn’t a bad thing. That’s why School of crock is one of my favorite episodes. Despite everything those two went through. Foop himself apologized to Poof for what he did. And even thanks Poof for saving him. I was really hoping as adults in new wish they’d still be cool with each other. But no. We had to go back to them hating each other again. Ugh!!! Why?!
With Chloe, I feel Tootie should have been given fairies with her losing them at the Season 10 finale and having her memory wiped. With that we would have seen more of Vicky and it would have made Timmy and Tootie’s romance in the movies make more sense plus her being intrigued by them. Well here are some trends that I have noticed in the season so far. 1) The rehash of episodes. Although in season 7 you could already see the lack of ideas. here it is much more noticeable. Most episodes have a plot similar to a concept already used before. 2) Sparky is annoying. And in general he is not a good character or contributes to the episodes apart from making them worse. 3) The season is quite mixed. At the moment it has 10 bad episodes, 5 okay episodes and 7 good episodes. Although on both sides you can see a pattern more towards the middle. Most good episodes are not that good and the same goes for the bad ones to some extent. Although I feel like this can change. 4) Fairies lose their wands as a way to generate conflict which is exhausting and boring. Good luck dude

Opening (some similar to Pie Guy's review of SpongeBob seasons 6 & 9): We have: 34 11 Minute Episodes, and 9 22 Minute Specials to get through. This fan-fiction season is the longest season of the entire show. Before working on this review, I’ve seen maybe one sixth of this entire season. Though I gave up on watching the show religiously around the time of "Timmy's Secret Wish", I did watch a few of these episodes in the beginning of the season, because, I don’t even know why. Maybe morbid curiosity, maybe just out of a pattern of watching the show, or maybe I just happen to randomly catch these things on TV without intending to watch them. But to be honest, the ones that I have seen I’ve only seen once, and I hardly remember them anyway, so this fan-fiction season is almost entirely fresh. Like last time, there will be spoilers here, although since this is fan-fiction, spoilers and Fairly OddParents season 9 aren’t that big a deal. Also, keep in mind that I have a series called Fairly Odd Bits, where I do extended reviews on stuff I’ve already reviewed in this series, like the Bottom 5 of season 3, the Top & Bottom 5 of seasons 4-6, and the extended review of "Vicky Gets Fired". So, if there’s any review here from seasons 1-9 (part 1 of season 9) that you can think I could elaborate on a little bit more, feel free to leave a comment suggesting I revisit that episode, and I probably will. With that said, I actually have a future Fairly Odd Bits planned, comparing 2 of the best episodes of the show, not just the canon era & season 4, "School's Out: The Musical" and "Channel Chasers", that future Fairly Odd Bits will have me go more in depth with extended reviews of both episodes in one video, so you’ll find out why I picked "Channel Chasers" as the best episode of the show, the canon era & season 4, but also show why "School's Out: The Musical" is still a very close contender. One more thing before we review the first half of this season. Starting with this season, the show changed from Standard Definition to Widescreen HD! This was not the first time Fairly OddParents was ever in HD though. There was one episode, which is a canon episode, Wishology!, from a previous canon season that was broadcast in HD, but, this will also apply to the the rest of the fan-fiction era, this is the first entire season to be in HD. Of course, I will talk about this in detail as it comes up, but I want to give an overview of this now, because this is a huge format change for the show. Sure, Fairly OddParents went from more traditional inking in seasons 1-5 to the digital stuff we all know and love now in season 6, and has gone through a few slight art evolutions over the seasons, but none have ever been as drastic as this big switch to HD, and it’s something you notice right away when watching the season. Fairly OddParents took its sweet time transitioning into High-Definition, and I can’t blame the people behind the show. The thing is, when you switch to HD, you have to change certain things. For instance, they had to redo the magic word clouds because obviously they just wouldn’t fit the screen. Another thing that they had to redo was the theme song, which I will explain now. It’s not as simple as saying "Alright, well now we’re going to do this in a little bit higher definition." Certain things had to change and be redone, which is a pretty big deal for a show like Fairly OddParents that intentionally tries to change as little as possible in the 16 years it’s been on air. So, how did they do with the new HD title sequence? So with the show switching to HD, it pretty much had to have a new theme song. It just kind of looks bad to have the theme being in standard definition and the show be in high-definition. It also leads certain people at Amazon to think that the show is broadcast in 4:3 instead of widescreen, and completely screw up the aspect ratio, thus smooshing some episodes, but I digress. As I said when talking about the switch to HD in general, Fairly OddParents is a show that really tries hard not to change much over the seasons, so having to switch the theme song is a pretty big deal. Instead of having an entirely new theme, they basically recreated the old one, but in HD, and I think that’s a pretty smart decision, seeing as any change that they made would have probably been met with a lot of criticism and resistance. After all, not only is the song itself iconic and catchy, the whole intro sequence is also very iconic. So yeah, it pretty much is the same exact sequence, with a few minor tweaks. For instance they use the newer Fairly OddParents logo, I think they did a fantastic job. I also like other things like Timmy's bus being skinnier, much more detailed, has School Bus written on its sides, seeing more children inside the bus, etc. I also love Poof's inclusion in the theme song, this feels like the theme song sequence that could have been used since season 6, and they adjusted it very well for Poof to be in the theme song. So yeah, everything in the theme song is pretty well adapted. Also, the end credits keep the same old pictures of the characters, while also adding some new ones in the background which is nice, like Poof floating, Mr. Crocker doing his "Fairy God Parents!" poses, Sparky floating, Timmy sitting and Sparky sleeping, and Timmy and Sparky looking at each other. Now that I’m done with the theme song and end credits, there are some changes that I also want to talk about here. Like I mentioned, the magic word clouds look different, and I have to say I really like it, they look really clear and nice. Another noticeable change is that places like Fairy World or Timmy's house just have a much bigger feel to them, because more of them can fit in the frame at any given time, and although it takes a little bit of getting used to, it does look really good, and since they switch to HD, I’ve noticed they’ve done quite a few wide shots. Shots from far away that show a lot of the background and have the characters be relatively small. You notice it right away in the first episode of the season, which has to do with Timmy getting a pet dog. Now that the definition is higher and they have more screen space, there’s just a lot more area to work with, and this is especially noticeable in scenes with Poof. Now, more than ever, they can do a great job of showing how much smaller he is than the other characters. Overall, I am very happy with what they have done with this new format change! One more thing I have to mention before I get to my reviews, is that, whenever there’s a big change to a show, either visually or something behind the scenes, like the creator coming back, there are going to be people who automatically claim that the show is better or good again. It’s easy to be suckered in by new episodes after a long time without, and a shiny new HD style, and artificially bump up ratings of these episodes, without giving them the same treatment as all the rest. While yes, the HD is nice, it’s important to realize that this is a thing that can happen, and not to let your actual judgement get swept away in hype. There are people out there (even if it’s only a tiny amount) that think that season 9 is the 2nd coming of Fairly OddParents, and while I’m sure some people have judged it fairly and do genuinely believe that, it’s likely that some aren’t judging these episodes, which is fine if you’re just a casual viewer, but if you want to look at things critically, you do have to give every episode, a fair and equal shot. Well, ladies and gentlemen, we have a long road ahead of us, so without further ado, let’s get into the reviews!

Okay: 5
Bad: 10
i aint watch it yet
predicting he hates most of the episodes
Almost half the season is bad so far
Same situation as Every Episode of Spongebob Season 9 Reviewed
?
In the every episode of spongebob season 9 reviewed video pieguyrulz made part 9a before he made part 9b and then he uploaded the whole thing which is what's happening here
@@jimmytheyoutuber2197 Except in Braden's case, it wasn't intentional.
@theadventurechu4546 to be honest I never expected this video to be split into 2 videos, I thought he would review the whole season in one video and make it a premiere like season 7 and 8, but unfortunately looks like that doesn't happen
I see you split them up
Number scale for each rating
My guess
Good: 7+
Okay: 5-6
Bad: 1-4
True
@Moon_Crescent2341OOReboot I got his number scale for each rating right? YES!!
@@FarahdTerrell yes
@@Moon_Crescent2341OOReboot Whoo hoo! I knew it!
@@FarahdTerrell you mean good is 7/10 to 10/10 right?
And the others as 5 - 6 out of 10 for mid
And yk
behind season 7, this is the best season in the show (and sparky is a great addition!)
Cool joke
@@TehEpikPixelgamer i know, season 9 has a lot of cool jokes!
Yoooooo
Don’t say slurs
@@bun-qx8gi Using the phrase "mental retardation" isn't a slur
@@BradenINSANE yes it is
@@bun-qx8gi Telling people what they can't say is always morally worse than any individual thing a person can say.
@@BradenINSANE that’s the dumbest thing I ever heard because you would need to tell me what I can’t say in order to say that.
@bun-qx8gi No I wouldn't. It is possible to dislike something a person says without wanting to censor their speech.
