That one foggy shot where we couldn't see off the ledge. Is that wider in person than on camera because I sort of got nervous watching that,but loved it all at the same time. Fog freaks me out though 🤷🏼♀️😂

Holy cats, you're on a real mountain now😂. Im glad I found your channel as well as some other Appalachian thru hiker videos this season because there's no way I would have made it past Harbors Ferry, between my fear of heights and my hip issues. I do feel like I'm there with you, though, through your great videos and can at least cheer all on ward. It's so crazy how the weather looks cold and blustery in June. You're doing great. Cap🎉

Even on the most gloomy, dreary, foggy, rainy days, your videos bring a ray of sunshine to many of us. Very interesting video, but I know you missed out on some beautiful scenes. I know you're prepared, but stay safe, and as warm and dry as you can.
That was extreme hiking there. Rain fog snow wind high elevation and wet rocks. Hats off to you. Another great video.

That ridge was otherworldly in the fog and drizzle. Mordor was spot on. And the bunny at the shelter! Did not look like an eastern cottontail like we have in the south. Wonder what species that was? Cute little fellow.
Any rabbit with a white spot on its head is an Eastern Cottontail. And they are hanging around because you aren't the first person to offer it poptart crumbs.
Whew!!! Holding my breath on this one with the weather and the wet rocks. But you nailed it!

Chet is a good friend of mine. I lived with him in the house for just shy of a year. I grew up in town - small town. Everyone knows everyone. 2013 I left to get clean. Scariest & best decision I have ever made!
Sorry you were socked in going across Franconia Ridge. I think it's one of the most beautiful views on the entire AT. Careful on those wet rocks up there!
Been on that ridge 5x…weather different almost each time. I prefer the views but there is something about the rain/sleet with clouds rolling in that is also magical. Keep pushing Captain! 💪🏻

Welcome to the Whites. Too bad about the lack of views on Franconia ridge. They’re some of the best in the Whites. I’m hoping that you get some good weather for the Presidential traverse.
Man, that's some rugged hiking...rather than call it New Hampshire, they should call it "New Hamstring."
The views would’ve been nice, but there’s something to be said for the experience of fighting the weather up there, too. Just different spirits of the mountains.

Wondering 🤔. Has your knee been bothering you? Haven’t heard you mention it since early on trail. I have knee issues myself and am curious if continuing to hike actually helped alleviate the issues eventually.
