new years resolution. stop worrying about the long videos. we will watch it all, im always dissapointed when u cut a conversation short in effort to condense the video time. Thanks for the year TPS.
I second this. We love watching your videos and length isnt an issue. Now if length was an issue due to not wanting to edit as much, then i understand. 😊
I can imagine that despite all the fun you guys have, it sometimes takes a lot of hard work and pressure to keep this wonderful channel alive every time. I love you guys! Keep up the good work and stay healthy!
Adding to the chorus of thanks for a another great year of content - cheers Mick & Dan, Katherine, Beve, Rosie... all who facilitate our weekly dose of tone, learning, banter, and positivity. Wishing you all, and the extended TPS fam, a Cool Yule, and best wishes for 2025 - the TPS 10th Anniversary Year!! 🎉
I was thinking today good riddance to ‘24 due to an abundance of lovely people passing away too soon… but watching this I remembered my TPS best memory, which of course was visiting Schwangri-La and meeting you lovely lads and getting to play some of your lovely toys. A great year of super guests and top tones! Heres to another tonetastic year!
thank you so much for your passion and creative work, Dan and Mick. I hope you will never stop - I would also pay for your weekly show to keep it running forever. Your a part of so many guitarists live every friday and weekend where we can always learn more and enjoy wonderful music and incredible sounds beside the usual stuff.
Thank you for adding such a tasteful spice to life in 2024, the first year I discovered and began watching TPS. Here’s to you having all the energy and desire you’ll need to keep it up in 2025! Cheers from Virginia!
What a great year you guys have had! You bring in the most brilliant people, all of them. So talented in their own diver ways. Special thanks to Rpbben and of course his Dumble. And you new launches! Best wishes in the New Year!
Loved watching this, one HELL of a year this one leg ends! Been watching for a long long time, dare I say the beginning. You guys just keep getting better and better! See you in 2025!
Meeting mick at Namm was one of my best memories. He talked with me a good 30-40 minutes and was thoughtful and showed care most RUclipsrs at Namm rush you if you say hi Mick didn’t at all. From a fellow Mick I will say this year of tps has been one of the best and I loved every minute of it. Cheers to a new year of new pedals to add to our boards.
In terms of quality musicians on the show, I would say, this year was the best ever. In terms of awesome amps, best year ever. And for me, it was the most enjoyable to watch of any year. Long may you continue!
Man, what a job you gents have, getting to sit down with these players! Bless you both for all the hard work, TPS has been a bright spot in my week for going on a decade now.
I love all you guys do, thank you for the great times over the last year. I have to say the episode that stands out for me is when Greg Koch was on. He is so talented, and so funny. I was laughing through most of the video, and keep going back for more.
Thank you, Thank you for the wonderful entertainment all year. I've been amazed, entertained and sometimes flabbergasted but never, never bored and without depressing anyone you guys helped me through at times a real dark and trying year as my invincibility was laid bare when a Stroke was visited upon me on the 25/11/2023 . But now I'm playing Guitar again ( REALLY BADLY, SO NO CHANGE THERE!! ) physically I'm as good as I can be , alright I'll never be the same as I once was but hey I'm alive. Mick can't thank you enough for your phycological musings ( SOME OF THEM HELPED ME ) But more importantly you've kept me smiling all year. THANKS AGAIN GENTS AND THE ROSE MYSTER . The only downside is my family keep asking me why I can't play like BRIAN MAY as he had a Stroke " YOU CAN'T BLOODY WIN " have a wonderful NEW YEAR AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Hey Guys, that was quite delightful. Watched everyone one of these this year, it was great to take a trip back through them in this video. Can’t wait to see what 2025 has to offer everyone at TPS and its family of viewers. ❤
TPS takes this activity that I almost exclusively enjoy alone and creates the opportunity for me to feel like I enjoy it in community. Pretty cool. Thanks.
It has been an epic year! Personal highlights were (in no particular order) Robben Ford, the Dumble, Greg Koch and Warren Haynes. But as ever there were plenty other great episodes and tones too (with and without artists). Merry christmas and best wishes to you both, with sincere thanks for what you give us all. Cheers gents 🍻
Here's hoping with fingers on the fretboard--and crossed--that water forever flows from the TPS Well! Lovely Gents; appreciate you and everyone involved so very much. Happy 2025!
"But the angels are older They can see that the sun's setting fast They look over my shoulder At the vision of paradise contained in the light of the past And they lay down behind me To sleep beside the road 'til the morning has come Where they know they will find me With my maps and my faith in the distance Moving farther on" (Jackson Browne). BIG Agape!!
Such. A. Good. Year. Great guests, great episodes! And while at it, would it be great to get Dom Martin as a guest? Really dive to his setup for acustic and electric. I loved his appearance on Andertons, but you ladz dive much deeper into people's gear use, and I want that acustic into standard tube amp knowledge! 😁
This is a difficult discussion. Dan and I are middle aged white men. Most of our guitar friends are middle aged white men, or a little younger than that. I’m not sure we’ve ever asked anyone to come on the show. Maybe in the early days, but the people who appear on the show do so because they’re either a) our friends who we already work with, or b) have reached out via other friends to be on the show. We have never said no to anyone as far as I’m aware anyway. Mick here. The assumption can be that it’s simply a case of us choosing who comes on the show. It’s not the case - it’s basically down to who is in the area and who has the time in their tour or media schedule, and who is willing to make the journey. After all that, they have to be interested in the nerdy gear shit that we’re interested in and PLENTY of people have decided it’s really not for them, regardless of ethnicity, age or gender. What I’m saying is that the people on the show aren’t a reflection of who we choose. They’re a reflection of who asks to come on and who has the time. So, if you know people who want to come on, you know what they have to do! Everyone is welcome if a) They express art through guitar, and b) They give a shit about tone. Hope that’s clear.
@@ThatPedalShow Guys, don't even trouble yourself responding to asinine comments like this. So 2024 as comes to an end what have we all learnt? The history of Firebirds, looping can be fun, that Greg Koch can't stop farting and giving it some gristle to his audience with his Monster JAM pedal...aaaaaand that Dan and Mick wish to elope with Mr. R. Ford's Dumble (no offence to their wives, Dan's kids and respective dogs.) Also...that you too can have a Redwing or two or make your guitar sound like Red thanks to Matt from Monty's (Fine chap along with George and others there in Cheltenham...) Being able to have the cash to final buy a ticket for an experience day for 2025 (that sold out like flaming pirates being shot out of a cannon in Sea of Thieves), being able to ask questions and make you chaps laugh whenever I can with my silly remarks or questions in VCQ's. Yes Mick, even that woolly neck pickup sound from that Digitech Eric Clapton Crossroads pedal that's still on my pedalboard. Might even buy you one if you wish ;) And even giving the "Fingers of Tone" their name too. happy new year. let's hope it's a new year. we've been getting reruns.

Posen, can i have my tears back 😢(2025 resolution, learn to play slide)
God dammit now i need to re-watch every episode again 😤
Another fab year. It’s gonna be hard to top Robben Ford. Can only imagine that John Mayer and Eric Johnson are due in 2025!
Best bits but no Rosie ???. That said a great year of quality entertainment, thanks guys.
Please can you get Charlie Allan on again. Love his playing.
Your opening arpeggiated chord is so luscious and beautiful, with amazing fidelity, what is it and how did you get that sound.
