I basically wear my Apple Watch Ultra 2 all day, every day, awake or sleep. If it isn’t charging, I am wearing it. And I do intentionally make sure it is charged enough to sleep with the watch on. I attempt to use the watch virtually all the time.
Thank god! I hate micromanaging sleep focus so much that I stopped wearing my watch because of this, I just want the watch to be the same all the time and not have focus states micromanage when I should be sleeping!!
I wear my Apple Watch Ultra 1, 24/7 (only removing when showering to recharge the battery) I have had to run a sleep app so that it would record my sleep/naps during the day so that I can try to manage my traumatic Brain Injury and daily life .
Same here! I wear my AW9 all the time and love the sleep tracking feature and metrics which I check when I wake up in the morning. I couldn’t do without to be perfectly honest. I’ve got my eyes on the sexy jet black AW10 lol
I’m so glad that I read through these comments because I wasn’t aware that the BP features weren’t on deck. Having the blood sugar monitor would be so helpful. Also, maybe seizure/stroke detection or some kind of rapid response for people with those conditions. Protect everyone’s medical information, please.
I’d love to see each doctor with a specific app that you can dump health data to when you visit. It would give my doctor a monthly pattern of data so that their diagnosis could be improved. My brothers doc uses his series 9 watch ecg and heart data to monitor his heart issues.
I use my watch now for sleep its a series 6 and it gets me through until I get back home back work, I just through it back on the charger until I need to go out again! then take my sleep and then in the morning through it back on the charger! its been cool to see how much time I sleep for a night and also the AVG for the week!
I switched from Apple watch to Garmin a while ago precisely for the Sleep tracking and body battery features.... but vitals brought me back to Apple Watch.
It’s nowhere as good as the garmin watches which use your sleep cycle and HRV and other sensors to come up with meaningful metrics like Body battery and recovery time - and tells you if you need more rest that day, you might not feel as good, etc - that makes more sense than just letting you know how many hrs you slept in REM, or the stages, etc. I hope the Vitals gets better over time to be more insightful.
Since I’ve been using the AW SE and now the AW9 I have always had it to sleep track, since Apple launched watch OS11 and rolled out the Vitals app I think it’s so clever and has even detected when I haven’t been well with a very good degree of accuracy. The first time this happened was in mid-September when I unfortunately came down with a variant of Covid-19. I had so many high heart alerts and numerous Outliers showing up for the 5 days that I was unwell with it, I even had a positive test result. On the 7th day I had 0 Outliers showing on Vitals as I made a full recovery. Then on 11th October I had both my flu and Covid-19 booster jabs on the same day, on Saturday I felt slightly unwell for at least a day or so, a few high heart alerts and 2 Outliers telling me in some way I’m not well. By Monday morning (14th October) I had 0 Outliers meaning I was back to feeling better. So I am more than happy with the data that Vitals displays as it’s a good indicator of how I’m doing. It’s a game changer! 😊
Very good question and it's unclear. I don't think Apple is going to ditch it, so they will probably find some way to do it without violating the patent.
Good question! Nothing clear yet! Hopefully at least on the new watch. Then it won't be an issue since it stops selling the older models and anyone who had one before the ban was grandfathered in.
Personally, my flow is take it off in the AM while I get my coffee, wash my face, brush my teeth, etc. Then I usually take it off in the evening as I shower, then back on when I go into bed. Seems to work well. That's on my Series 8 but yeah, the Ultra is better.
Until the glucose monitor is introduced, the Watch is useless to me .. I already have a small collection of watches that tell time. And Journal .. yeh great, I have a full collection of all my depression .. wonderful !

Non-invasive continuous glucose monitoring will be a multi-billion dollar breakthrough.
Blood pressure wrist band would be great
Hmm interesting! That's possible!
@@AppleInsider Samsung watches already measure blood pressure, why not Apple?

1h05 am is too late to go to bed bro. you need to get more sleep ;-)
There’s too much work to do! Can’t slow down!
For the training load feature, why does it have to gather information? Other apps use the data from the past.
I use my Apple Watch for sleep I’m still learning the vitals app on watch os 11 & wish blood oxygen app was available on my ultra 2 black titanium
No wrist temperature on my ultra 1st addition.

Wear the watch for sleep tracking. Looking forward to the Vitals app
Nice!
What about the new oxygen sensor? Are they bringing it back to the Apple Watch 10?

@@AppleInsider That's a US restriction right? I have blood oxygen on my Apple Watch 8 in the UK.

Blood oxygen is still available on the 1st gen Ultra in US

I’ve been trying to download this vitals app on my Ultra 2 do you have any idea why it won’t let me? 👀🤔
Do you have watchOS 11?

The Vitals doesn’t work on my AWU. It just gives me a blank screen inside a blue frame
So when will Blood Oxygen come back?

I’m not sure how you are supposed to wear your watch for sleep tracking when it needs to be charged constantly (maybe not the ultra folks).
I always have my watch fully charged before I go to bed

@@AppleInsiderExactly! Me too.
I charge when I get up, shower, get ready for work and wear it the rest of the day and night

It's brand new! I love it!

To do that your Apple Watch will have to stick a needle into you. 😊

Watch says vitals can’t be installed or is already
You have to have the developer update watchOS 11.
