Hated the Braves but Loved Dale Murphy
The man is a HOFer. He was dominant in his era.
It's a damn shame that players like: Dale Murphy, Al Oliver and Dave Parker, continues to get overlooked by Cooperstown!
In Murphy's case, the man had a five-year stretch were he totally dominated the opposition in ALL 162 games that he played in.
Now, he may not have had much success in the postseason, but by no means was it Murphy's fault.
I was a Montreal Expos fan at the time, but I always enjoyed watching Dale Murphy play.
As I mentioned earlier, Murphy, Parker and Oliver, all deserve to get in the Hall!
Challenge accepted, I'll give you a name. Tommy John. Everyone knows about the surgery, but tend to forget the pitcher.
That'd be a great video! Someone who's remembered more for a surgery than for his playing ability
I Googled "Murphy's Law" and ended up here. More proof that whatever can go wrong will go wrong.
I just saw Dale at the PGA Superstore today.
Harold Effing Baines.
It is a sin Murphy is not in the Hall Of Fame.
It pisses me off.
Baines was a great hitter but not a hall of famer. The shame goes to Reinsdorf for bullying him in.
Murph should be in the Hall of Fame
Murphy and Harper, both are mormons too.
They must really hate Mormons or something to be blackballed… 7 all stars, 5 gold gloves, 2 MVPs… 4 silver sluggers.
Great video!
Thank you!
A class guy and he’s from Oregon.
1987 was the Year of the Hitter. my grandma hit .315 in 1987. with 25hr.
Golfing with him right now. Hes still a stud!!
That’s awesome!
I hate when compilers get in the HOF but a guy like Dale who was a top 5 player in the 80's isn't in.
