This is a compilation of all the "Something About" videos from 2021 (and January 2022)! It's been a crazy year! We ran the Pokemon Battle Simulator TWICE, went to a Storm Eagle concert with Megaman X, witnessed Cucuí Ganon in all his glory, got raided by the FBI because of Pikmin Bloom then spent Christmas at Luigi's Mansion. Pretty solid year all things considered.

If the attack animations of Legends Arceus are any indicator of how Pokémon animations will be going forward, we may actually have a chance of seeing Blastoise FINALLY use its cannons.

My favorite is that for double kick, the pokemon literally just moves up and down without animating at all.

Rewatching these videos, it just struck me how much effort is put into the sound design. Sure, theres a lot of meme-tastic sound clips used, but it all flows together so well. Great stuff as always.

Honestly if that's what the fans are doing then that's disappointing. Personally I prefer the standalone videos by a lot. They're way more fun and easier to follow, and generally funnier as well.

The Game Genie was bad enough with that scuttlebug, now imagine the bird with the scuttlebug it's currently carrying. We just got a glimpse of what it could do.
Obviously, Bird Up is an eldritch abomination that comes from outside space and time.
Look how Jeremy runs from it in the introduction. He has no control over this monstrosity. He opened the gate, and he let it through, and now the chaos is unleashed.

Is anyone going to mention how unique terminalmontage’s art stable is? Like really, the style is somewhat simple, year you can tell what the characters are
The sudowoodo has been here the whole time! In the pokemon timeline. And I love how the Metagross flashback could easily be foreshadowing for the Dynamax end credits scene!!!! I always feel like Terminal Montage really IS four parallel universes ahead with his jokes and foreshadowing. His storylines feel so well MADE I love watching these!!!! If you see this, just, these are incredible!!!! Thank you!!!! The amount of charm and planning and skill that must go into these, I cant even imagine. Your videos are always something I look forward to for the humor, the huge scale (I have an UNENDING love for the legendary battle royale as well as the entire speed runner storyline, to the point that that became something me and my siblings watched the live video broadcast together), and how just great all your videos are. Really, thank you.

Yea, I'm gonna agree with Geno there at the end, the "Bird Up" Kulu-Ya-ku with the speed bug is probably one of the most dangerous things at large in the Something About universe right now, and deserves a concerned look.

It's always so impressive when Terminal can take a seemingly goofy and joke-oriented segment and transform it into one of the coolest, most intense animated battles of all time. Incredible work, man. These Something About videos are always a delight to watch, excellent work!

The amount of Easter eggs and references in these animations is insane. That combined with the overall animation and sound quality makes these animations very rewatch-able, because they’re overall fun to watch and you always find some new detail or Easter egg that makes you go, “Oh, that’s cool!” It’s also great that these animations can be so goofy while also being pretty serious when it wants to.
I love how you always do Psychic/ghost types like Gengar, Alakazam and Mewtwo justice. The way I see it Mewtwo has like ultimate reality bending psychic powers. I can also envision Gengar sending folks to the shadow realm.
It’s already been 4 seasons? I remember when the Yoshi’s island thing had just come out. Congrats on another amazing series of videos, my dude, and thank you for entertaining all of us.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I beleive some of those extr scenes are at the end of their respective videos. Also, all of his animations have a little fter credits scene.

It's so weird to say this but apparently I've been watching this channel for 3 years already yet it feels like yesterday when someone randomly showed me Something about Yoshi's Island. The only other channel to have this long lasting effect for me was Team Four Star. Still, I'm happy to see new stuff all the time. I enjoy rewatching things and going through the single frames with easter eggs.

I love how much effort that is put into these. If you look there's so much work put into the animation, even as far as back as the monster hunters, it takes effort to draw movement and for the most part it's so smooth that if you told me that a Triple A gaming studio or a High quality production company designed these as a funny comic for people of all ages I could see it. Please keep up the wonderful work. These are the highest quality memes I've seen ever. I would love to see one done about something as serious as the StarCraft series, or maybe a cover of the current fire red speed run where the Nidoking is stuck at like 5 hp for like 5 straight fights in a row without healing xD
