I watch a lot of garden videos. And this was informative and I you have a wonderfully enthusiastic manner of introducing each plant. I’m in Southern California, zone 10b. And I have found it near impossible to find videos that focus in this type of climate. Many channels talk about vegetable gardening but not landscape plants. So thank you!!!
Well composed and described specifically for us here in Baghdad By the Bay Julie - loving our additions here in San Francisco much of which you present I have. I’ll probably add specimens of manzanita; love the red bark and deodar cedar. We allowed our pineapple guava loose at our East Bay home which exceeded 20 ft each way! Beautiful though
It does drop it's flowers but it's an evergreen so it won't lose it's leaves. So there is some mess. We also have a great blog post all about plants for pools that you might find helpful :) idiggreenacres.com/blogs/articles/plants-around-pools

Hello! Thanks for the information. I was hoping you talked about the plant you have there with the red tips. What is it?
So happy to hear you liked it! It's Grevillea :)
Replanting around the pool this year. This will help me with that. California lilac super messy?
