Heard this song once on a NYC radio station and was lucky enough to score a copy from a really cool record store called Harmony Record in the Bronx. Stolen by some home invasion chump in 1976. It took years of searching but in 1981 in a fortunate trip into NYC, there hidden away in an obscure record store. there it was. Paying an unheard of price of $10 I had no choice but to buy it again. KILLER
Beginning efforts of soon to be famous . They do sound great, better than any of the bands I heard in high school.I wonder if they knw they would be playing with Ricky Nelson.
What perplexes me about this band is that in all the images of them I see 6 members. Yet all I hear is one drummer, one vocalist, one bassist & 1 guitarist. What the hell are the other two doing?
Don't know which group did it first, but I much prefer the Afex version by far. it's faster, slightly longer, and more enjoyable and danceable than the Poor's version.
The fabulous Randy Meisner.
Love this Randy! Reminds me of music by the Monkees😊. And doing the Pony to them😊.
I remember what 'the pony' was, but I'm not gonna say; won't give it away. .... I want to see if anyone else remembers. Randy is a legend ♥️🎸☮️

20 year old Randy Meisner🎵🎵I really like this SONG🎵🎶😎🎵
Bubbled Under the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 133 in 1967. A really fine song.
This is just fantastic Randy !!!!! 😍
Wow. Awesome.
A great pop tune with an intense sound which makes this not only Groovy but totally Far-Out !!!
Randy❤
That is terrific! Ty for sharing, ❤️ Randy!
Hadn't heard of them, but just now saw them perform in a nightclub on an episode of Ironside.
RIP RANDY
Brilliant pop tune. Only wish they could find the master tapes for it.

Randy, as well as the great Allen Kemp on guitar and backing vocals.
3 versions of this, Brewer & Shipley, The Afex (UK),and this one. All have their merits. Difficult pick really, they are all good.
ランディの若々しい声、キュート♪
