Hafiz, you understand the art of comparing! It’s exactly what you want to see, all the angles on and of wrist, not one but diffrent shots,...measurements... the whole lot. It’s what one needs when not being able to go to a physical store and try it in the flesh. It’s the second best thing or maybe just as good. Beautiful photogaphy, nice slow pace, good accompanying tune. Your production is nr 1 in this regard. Hat of to you sir for telling the story just right.
Thanks for providing the actual case measurements of the watches! Most channels just don't bother and present them as 39mm and 41mm, which there are not.
You really have the best 'real life' wrist shots of any YT watch channel. Your accurate measurement comparisons also give your reviews an edge over other reviewers. Keep up the good work!
This video will be good for the mental health of many watch fans! So many people were upset about the 39mm being discontinued.... no more drama! I think I'm still dreaming about the 36mm blue or maybe silver dial. Great vid
Exceptional and unbiased comparison coupled with stunning images. There's nothing like it on the web. Every watch enthusiast should subscribe to your channel.
Can’t wait for my OP41 to arrive. Love the attention for details in your videos. Would love to see your setup and the equipment you’re using to make these awesome shots.
Thanks for all the wrist shots. Macro shots are good to see the details in the dials but wrist shots give the actual overview of how the watch looks and feels from the outside perspective along with the actual size of the watch. More of wrist shots, please.
Thank you - it's so difficult to get an in-depth comparison between the 39mm and 41mm OPs (and it's not like we can get in-store to view them, even if Rolex had stock in!). I was considering the 39mm, but since being discontinued I'm on a waiting list for the 41mm. Wasn't sure if I'd made the right decision choosing that over its smaller 36mm brother, but you've just put my mind at ease. Just need a Tiffany Blue dial to come in store for me, and I'm sold! Thank you for the amazing info
Awesome work Hafiz! Watched this video right after received the msg from my AD has allocated exactly the same op41 blue dial for me for collection next month yay🎉😋
That is great news, I was actually considering the 36mm OP for my 7.25 inch wrist. The Op 39 was great on my wrist, even a little small, so this should be perfect
Wonderful analysis ! Op 41 is just op 39 with updated movement. Looking like this is a much better product and op 39 just really a stop gap until they moved to the new movement. I think op 39 is kind of DJ 2 before they moved to DJ 41.
Another great review from you! I think Rolex is keeping 39mm exclusively for the Explorer. The 41mm looks more fashionable and great improvement from the 39mm especially the green one in my opinion
@@gyulapanszky7805 I wanted blue only so I was originally looking at the 36mm blue. Now that the 41 is out it’s great. Perfect colour and perfect dial. I’d prefer 39mm over 41mm but they are almost identical so it’s a win win I guess.
Another great video! Keep up all the great work your doing. What do you see happening with the Explorer one during 2021? Rolex staying at 39mm or them having two sizes 36mm & 41mm.
Great video again, thank you Hafiz. I wish you would do a comparison of the new OP 41 and 36. I’m yet to see anyone show the actual measurements of the new OP 36. I’ve seen both in person, in different colors though, but the size difference seemed quite big. So wonder if the 36 really is 36 mm. Personally I’m leaning towards the blue OP 36, with my 6,8 wrist size (and a width of about 56 mm).
Great video bud. In your first couple of moving wrist shots, the 41 dial appears noticeably larger than the 39. Whilst the dimensions are similar, perhaps these get exaggerated the further you are.
As a white dial 39 owner, I got to try on the 41 the other day. After watching this video I expected it to wear about the same... and to my disappointment it wore SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than the 39. Honestly felt like a completely different watch and the proportions were different as well. Unfortunately I won't be buying any of the 41 models even though the want was massive with the turquoise dial.
I'm currently in the market for an OP. Would appreciate it if you can elaborate on what you said a year ago. The video is telling us that they wear very similarly but you seem to be saying the opposite. Thanks.
@@Arthur_StJohn bacially all I’m saying is the op 41 wears much larger than the 39. I have a 6 1/4 wrist, about 5’11 and 165 lbs and the 39 felt like it was pushing my limits. I tried on a 41 and it felt like a completely different watch. It felt massive in comparison - the guy showing me the 41 also agreed that they wear much bigger than the 39. I think you need a 6 3/4-7 inch wrist to pull off the 41 if you’re into the bigger watches look. Personally I sold my white dial 39 and I’ll prob go to a 36 next for the classic look. I have a smiths Everest 36 and I feel like it fits me perfectly.
@@tgemz3376 thanks for your detailed response. I'm in the market for an easy wearing Rolex as daily wear and have decided on the new 36mm Explorer 1. I was on the fence about getting the OP39 as well to complement it so I can switch up depending on my wardrobe/season. I'm 5'8 165 lbs with 7.5 inch wrist. I just quickly looked up the Everest 36 and I see that watch is a blend of Explorer 1 on Jubilee. Do you miss your OP39 White at all? It's such an attractive piece, I can't seem to get over it. Just wish there was one I can try on. Thanks again
I agree with @@tgemz3376 , 36 mm more versatile and it looks much better on the wrist. Also with new stella dials 36 mm feels more like 38 mm. It’s just perfect

Loved the bit when you said "Rolex made the 41mm in 2015, but only just admitted it".
Beautiful work as always. Please, please, please, don't ever stop these. They are very much appreciated!
This is the best watch review I have seen by far. You nailed it Hafiz!
If there’s an Oscar for watch videos, this would be the winner
100% Thanks Hafiz the man very helpful in purchasing decision!
Thanks so much for the support:)
It's a truly intelligent breakdown with excellent videography.
Nice vid
Best analysis about all details I can imagine!

Crazy to see how close they are side by side...Another excellent video, thanks!
Been waiting 2 months for someone to finally publish these stats. Cheers
I was waiting for this review, thank you so much, your work is great!
This is the video I have shared the most amongst my watch friends, by far. Excellent video!
Thanks so much for sharing. That’s really does help the channel and provide me the reason to keep producing the videos. :)
Cheers.
Not going to lie. You are the best reviewer in the market!
Cracking comparison, I have a Blue OP39 and was thinking about the OP41, I'm not anymore - Thank You for this, it was very interesting

Horologist narrator extraordinaire again hits a grandslam, 39 grape works. Thanx. P.S. Tx.
Your Chanel is insanely underrated
Fantastic review and comparison! Crazy to see the new OP41 is actually just the same old 39 with an upgraded movement and clasp.
Exceptional and unbiased comparison coupled with stunning images. There's nothing like it on the web. Every watch enthusiast should subscribe to your channel.
Thank you so much :)
Fantastic review Hafiz, as always
Great details! I’m considering the OP41 so this helps.
Awesome review with all required details.... your reviews get better by the day ma man, keep them coming
Great vid. The difference in AR coating was the first thing I noticed with the side by side shots. Probably enough for me to turn towards the OP41
Another amazingly detailed review Hafiz. So much effort and so therefore so well executed. Your videos are the best. Keep doing your thing bro 👊
Can’t wait for my OP41 to arrive. Love the attention for details in your videos. Would love to see your setup and the equipment you’re using to make these awesome shots.
Have you received?
Excellent review!! It has to be concluded that the Op 41 is a subtle but clear improvement of the Op 39.

hey bro how long do you have to wait? when you buy a rolex
@@bigvee401 depends on the model. An OP, like the one I want, maybe up to 6 months. Something like a green sub, or the pepsi GMT, maybe 6 years.
@@neilmartin7776 6 years wow!, its no wonder they sell second hand for way more, I might be dead of old age in 6 years lol

Best vid from you bro ! Well done ! Speechless
Exceptional work, measurements, attention to details... This video of yours made me subscribe.
Measurements are truly appreciated. Another great video, thanks!
Great job Hafiz, always wanted to see the two OP sizes next to each other.
maybe the next one shows us how the 36 mm shows against both of them.
Really informative video! That was exactly what I was looking for. Keep up the great work!
as usual, great analyzis and superbe shots. Thanks Hafiz!
I always look forward to your reviews; they are informative, thorough and thoughtful. Keep up the great work and stay safe.
Those wrist shots at the beginning are what I come for
Typical thorough review Hafiz...great stuff...1

Brilliant review and technical analysis. Keep it up!
Finally there is a watch reviewer mentioning about the weight of watch which I always want to know! Excellent!!
Many thanks. I try to cover things in my reviews that bother me myself when I’m in my collector state of mind :)
Good to know they’re well received :)
Great work as always ! I just tried one on at my AD, and the only difference between it and my Explorer was I thought the dial looked bigger!
I enjoy your analysis n video. Very much appreciated. I was on waiting list for an op 39. Lucky to get an explorer 1 39 mm. Cheers.
Just discovered this channel. I'll be coming back for more.
Wieder ein tolles Video. Weiter so. Ich freu mich schon auf das nächste Video 👌👏
what an amazing technical review, keep it up bro (y)
Crisp comparison, now I know what to select.
Great comparison and fantastic videography
It is fascinating to see how OP 39 mm, OP 41 mm and Sea dweller 43 mm fits on your hand.
Excellent video as usual here 👍🏻

Great video; thanks for the in-depth information! 👍

Your reviews are excellent. I appreciate the detail, in this case the measurement of clasp from 39 to 41. Thanks.
Fantastic video!
very interesting video. thanks mate
Awesome video, thank you. Both watches are beautiful, I'd opt for the OP41 just for more luminous markers.
Amazing video again. Thank you.
Just great. Veery informative indeed.
If you have to buy 1 OP
Which size would you choose between 36 and 41
Which are the top 2-3 dial colors from the current list of 7-8 colors
I chose yellow dial in 36 mm. In my opinion stella dials look less bold on smaller sizes
Incredible review. Thank you!
Good review, liked it better than the DJ41.
Great review as always
Excellent work thank you...
Great video. I do much prefer the face of the 41. I don’t like how the 39 hour markers often appear dark.
I’m glad I got my 41

Do Rolex OPs prior to 2020 (even modern 2011-2019) have anti-magnetic properties?
i also think OP 39s are better proportioned than the new 41s.. 🕺🎉🍻
I believe that the Parachrom hairsprings are supposed to be anti-magnetic, but Rolex haven't made any big claims regarding anti-magnetism.

Now factor in that the dials are extremely much more impressive on the 39 OP. Not a difficult choice. The rhodium dial makes for the all time best OP.
