    Love my Legit, purchased last fall as my first bow, put about 3,000-3,500 arrows through it and as a beginner I am satisfied with my grouping at 50 yards. The main draw back is I quickly realized the stabilizer, sight and rest all need upgrading which basically doubles the price.

    Excellent reviews Sean!
    Admittedly the Cuzer G2 does look smaller and more like a kids bow. I bought mine when I got into archery elk hunting because I knew I’d want something different at some point. My plan was to hand it down to my son. That said I have killed two 6 point bull elk in Colorado in back to back years with the bow. Make no mistake. It can get the job done.

  • @tylergordon696

    I bought a g2 based on your video of it( we commented back and forth on that video) I have been shooting 24-96 arrows a day since. I have been very happy with it considering the price. I can easily hit a 6 " circle at 40 yards. I don't have the space to go longer, but I am definitely confident enough now to take it deer hunting this fall. Not sure I could spot and stalk an elk at this point, but I did get a tag that can be either rifle or bow.
    I really appreciate your videos. It also looks like after the hunting season this year I will be upgrading. I just wish the closest pro shop was not ~300 miles away.

    This is GREAT Sean! I'm new to bow hunting- this will be my first year- and I've been looking at the cruzer model as I've read that it is a really great bow for beginners. I'm looking for something that will last and be able to grow with me. I'm surprised at the Legit, and this video helped me so much. I enjoy your content and am a huge fan! Thanks again, your a HUGE help! Question i have for you is when I go to buy a bow what would you suggest as a package for beginners? I mean bow, arrows, sight etc? And what is your recommendation for maintenance on a bow? Pre-season, during the season and storage after the season? Appreciate any feedback!

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 года назад +4

      Some package bows come with sight, rest, quiver, but usually you'd have to buy arrows. Different arrow spine is needed for different draw weight and draw length, so it's best to get the right one once you've decided on a bow and know what specifications you'll be shooting with. As for maintenance, it's good to wax the bow string every two weeks under normal shooting. During the season, if you're going through thick vegetation and the bow is getting hit a lot, you may need to wax the string after every hunt. You'll be able to tell if there are tiny fibers sticking off the string. To wax the string, typically rub bow string wax on the string, cables, and then rub it in with a piece of leather. The leather heats up the wax so that it melts and goes into the string....

      With hunting season starting next week for me I probably won't be doing any reviews till about December unless I have to, and that usually only happens if a company sends me a bow and asks me to review it. That said, Bear has never responded to any of my attempts to contact them so I doubt highly that I will be contacted by them to review any of their bows any time soon, sorry. • @ClickClickDirt
    @ClickClickDirt 2 года назад

    Wouldn't that mean that because you would lose 5fps on the decrease of 1lb of draw weight with the legit, so wouldn't it be increasing proportional per lb, making it 15 fps faster. 3+lb so 5x3 ..from 67lb to 70lb DW wouldn't that make it 319 fps... Or is it disproportional on the gain 🤔

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  2 года назад

      It is typically not linear in increase and decrease due to the fact that cams are oval. There can be larger fluctuations in speed changes depending on the draw length settings.because moving the draw mod changes the geometry of the path the cable travels which impacts the overall performance of the bow.
