I love them!! Well done. I love that book you cut your dormouse from so I looked on amazon and it’s there but it was £50!! Lol. I think your tags are even cuter then the inspiration ones, which were adorable too.
Tina you did an outstanding job. They turned out truly amazing. I know it’s too late now. But in the future if you want some splatters. Smush you vintage photo ink pad onto your glass mat, then add a tad of water. With a round brush splatter away. And another great idea. Is to use coffee or tea. They make wonderful splatters too. You are so amazing and I love watching you.

Super cute all of them music paper is always the go to and it make things look great. To get paint splatters use a small bristle wet paint brush with acrylic paints of your choice load the brush, hold the brush over the area use a pencil or maybe your scissor tip and just tap the paint brush and you will have splatters hold the brush high or low to see which splatters you like the most some will be small or large depending on how close & loaded the paint is on your brush. Hope this info helps. Thanks for sharing this tutorial about to get my music sheets out!!!!!

I love sheet music and maps!! Our parish has been giving out weekly music and prayer sheets since Covid and we attend the last Mass of Sunday so sometimes my husband and I go up and down the pews and pick up the discarded ones and I bring them home for my journaling stash. I've got a nice little folder collected.
The strawberries were perfect with the little girl pic and the mouse! He is adorable! The word memories with the clock evoked sad memories...I loved it. I will be keeping my eyes open for a clock to use so I can do a similar tag. TFS 🙂

I love that rabbit tag!! I’m always a little sad when I see music being chopped up - probably the pianist in me - but I must admit it looks wonderful as a background. I couldn’t cut that book up. Yes, I know what you mean about the sheet music (not to mention the books) it's sometimes hard to cut/tear it down. Sheet music always looks so beautiful doesn't it? You are super talented being a pianist :-) x
Love these tags. You are like me in that you find it hard to cut into such a beautiful book and images. I bought some beautiful Edith Holden books with the intention of using pages/ images from it, but I just couldn't be brave enough, and they ate now sat on my bpokshelf to be admired now and again. Distress Oxides are different in colour to the inks because of the opaqueness and chalkiness. The inks are more translucent. I buy each colour in k and oxide to giv me a choice ad so that is good for wide range of applications. Thank you for a fantastic video, as always xx

I love sheet music as you can't go wrong using it, also book pages tend to go with everything. Rachel doesn't ink at all does she and her work is awesome but mine looks like something is missing, I suppose it's whatever you're used to lol..Your tags came out very cute, I esp liked the bird one with the orange flowers......will enjoy seeing what your next one is x

When you first showed a Victoria Plum book the next time I was Op shopping after that I found one, they are so sweet images - she looks great on the tag
Since seeing these tags and the victoria plum one youve inspired me. I have a brother wholives in stockholm sweden and the national doll is pippi longstocking. Ive found a book on amazon (48p) and im going to use the images for my journal and some tags
Tags came out beautiful! As for the stamp color, you probably had Victorian Velvet Distress Ink--the same color will look different in the Distress OXIDES (tend to be more chalk like). I prefer the Distress Inks, but many prefer the Distress Oxides.
This is especially true if you are stamping on bright or dark colors since the pigment properties in oxide ink cause it to “sit on top” of the paper rather than soaking in.
These are adorable. That book has some awesome pictures. If you can I'd get two so that yo dont loose any of those darling pics !!! You can sometimes copy and give as gifts. That way your not making a profit with another artists works !!

Tags are my absolute favorite item to craft I recently purchased a set of Schirmers music books for next to nothing. They've been burning a hole in my proverbial craft pocket! 😆 I also use tags as mixed media art pieces. My latest version is a tag shaped journal
