WOW. is there any limit to the length of an audio track? Instead of vocals I'd like to record guitar/keyboard for 3 to 4 mins at a time while launching various clips in the background. Thanks again for doing this. Still giving value to the community 2 years after you created it.
There’s disk streaming on the force so as long as you have space you should be gud 👊🏾
Nice storytelling! Got to take a closer look at the Force since I' m not feeling the current MPC line. Came from Maschine MK3 to an MPC 1000 fully maxed out.

Quick question I have a new RodeNT1 mic. I noticed that when I quite crank the input qain(close to full) on force it changes the clarity of it. Anybody has any comments on that. It's quite weird. It feels like it's a digital thing.
Do you have a dynamic mic straight in Marcus? My dynamic doesn't get that level you got there.

Great video! I've learned a lot. Can you go deeper? Is it possible to punch in and out when recording in the arranger mode? Also, can you record starting several bars into the song? For example instead of recording into the first measure record into 8 bars in?

You can record live onto the arranger mode? Like you can use that to record instead of the red lines you normally see on the mpc live? Lol
Can you record any instrument via microphone? How is the quality of the recordings? I wish I could record some live percussion and use the akai force as a loop machine instead of my boss rc 505

I have a question. When I record the vocals its only the left side that is recording. Theres no sound in the right. What should i do?

.....I'm just having a problem and wondered if you could put me right on it.......its my Mic, when I talk into it, the volumes are extremely low, even if I turn the gain knob at the back of the force. The mic is a Shure sm58, and I have my I/O set as auto, input 1, out 1,2..
I've tried everything but can't get it to work properly, any help/advise would be appreciated.

I did just leave it recording by mistake and it was at 5,000 measures or more.
Having issues recording in Clip Mode. The audio doesn’t write. Got track recording enabled, blank clip, don’t see waveforms! Grrr.

Be careful to use the right microphone.If you connect a normal dynamic microphone to FORCE( Fantom power ACTIVATED ) and your mic doesn't work with 48V Fantom , the sound module of FORCE will die forever and it is NOT under warranty, because you used the wrong microphone.
This part (sound module) isn't available for purchase.
So be careful with that.

So I don’t have a video for this but it’s pretty much straight forward. Here the drive I have: amzn.to/3uxfz7i
And I also bought and adapter to format this drive as well: amzn.to/3OUBKN6
All I did was before installing this drive was connected it to my Mac, formatted it, name it and then I removed the screws from the drive door beneath the force and connected it to the all ready provided wires. Closed it up and turned on the force and the drive was ready to go!
