You make it look so easy. I just purchased this Akai Force and am a total newbie to music. I’ve only ever written but recently used AI to hear my lyrics performed which gave me confidence. People however hate AI so this lead me to buying equipment to attempt recording my own vocals and beats. Hopefully you make many more tutorials. Also where are you located? I’m near Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Cool! I’m in Houston. The Akai Force is a great machine! My go to for making beats. This should help you get started off right: elbowmediastudios.com/products/akai-force-beginners-course
I know Im asking randomly but does anybody know of a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me!
@Carmelo Zion I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm trying it out now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@@MarcusElbow Honestly, I was intimidated and fell back. I'm relearning. I have to keep going. I've searched several channels. You're the best to lear about the Akai Force brother.
Thank you, love the way you explain and portray it! Maybe one question, how do you connect your cell phone to the Force ...? keep making music (and tutorials :-)) !!
What’s good Stefan?! It’s easy bro, just connect your phone directly to the input jacks in the back of the force. These are the wires I use Hosa YMP-434 3.5 mm TRSF to Dual 1/4" TS Stereo Breakout Cable www.amazon.com/dp/B0010D0HO0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_2yM1FbT4F68N9?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I get asked this a lot 🤔 No worries! I’m going to make a video showing how to connect and sample from your phone using the Akai force. Give me a few days bro bro. 🙏🏾👊🏾
I have to thank you. Firstly for getting me to get the akai force and most importantly is the lessons. You really make it easier for slower minds like mine.
Thank you for these videos! I have noticed when recording my own audio samples the loop always pop clicks when starting over, even if the recording is the exact same from start to the end ( for example a solid note just playing no changes in tone or rhythm) , and even if I change the start and end clip I still get a pop click when the loop starts again. How do I avoid this?
Thanks for the video!!! Is it possible to do the lazy chop during a performance while everything else is playing? and if yes, is it possible to pre-listen in headphones before playing the new samples?
Hey Marcus. When I plug my iPhone 11 Pro into the back of the force in usb, the force screen says device not recognized or usb device is not supported or something along those lines. What in the world should I do. I’ve got to be able to sample.
Awesome thank you. Watched it and completely get that part. Now what if the sample says 120 bpm but after it goes into the force it says 96. How do you correct that.
What’s up Tom?! I do have third party kits loaded into my force. Just so you know, you can use MPC kits with the force. So to answer your question, most likely it was a third party kit. The force kits are okay but adding more kits is a must! 👊🏾👍🏾
Sometimes the key is off in Looperman or non-existent. I try to be a good Samaritan and let them know what the key is but sometimes they get all butt hurt about it 😂
Hi I signed on your Channel. I bought Akai force Is a war 😂 I'd like to know how play a sample recorded with sampler (or One putted via computer mode) with akay mini keyboard. Many thx and good job for your channel
Damn I have a question how’s the pitch sample rate compared to the live 2 once you change the pitch the sound gets distorted? Does the force do the same thing
Hi man, your videos are very usefull! Just got my force 2 days ago. However, i got one question, maybe you can help me out. I was playing with the sample editor, in wich i loaded one of the internal vocal samples. But when i chop it up via the lazy chop, when i hit a pad it plays the chops back really loud! Way louder then when i put the same sample in a clip to play it. There is a huge volume difference. Is this normal behaviour? Could it be the sample? I think the force has a massive output signal anyway..it can get loud 💪🏻
Those chops ain't lazy, they workin' full-time bruh!! Big ups!
Mate you are a legend. My force is sitting at home waiting to be unpacked. Can’t wait to get started. ✌️
This my dear Sir, was very helpful to me, as a starter on the Force! Thanks!

I don’t have discard as an option on my Force; only Extract. Is there something I’m doing wrong when I select process?

I’m not sure about this 🤔 I’m leaning towards no

great video! was the drum kit you used a stock kit included with the force or a third party sample set you added?

Yes that issue is present here as well.
What that sample app? Looper?
Looperman.com
I didn't see you plug the phone into the Akai or a hub? Was that sample recorded without phone being plugged into either the force or a hub?
No I had the phone plugged in via the inputs on the back. I talked about this at 2:35 👊🏾
