You are sooooo freaking COOL!!! I love this!! Well done, you! It's absolutely gorgeous. Such an accomplishment that you will enjoy for years to come. Just lovely! Thank you for sharing. Love and Bless
I was going to leave a comment but there was no more room so I found a reply so I put my comment here. I like you. I would be your best friend if I was your neighbor. I am also an artist since I was 3 years old. Snoopy was my first real drawing in 1st grade. I became a gospel singer and so here I am at 62 years old really doing art. I’ve always done art but I did so many other things but art is a passion. I studied you for 30 minutes and realized you ar much more than an artist. You seem to bubble out so much love in your brush strokes. Your peacock tell me a lot about you. It speaks to me this: here I am a strong steady peacock and colorful to be seen. I sit right in my spot being a good citizen. I pay my bills o treat ppl right, I’m a good neighbor I look like what you see is what you get. Well that is not so. Notice how my feathers reach around the corners? I’m checking everything out when you have no clue that I’m doing so. I want you to see all of me because I’m transparent like a diamond ♦️ but you don’t know that I’m really a private detective. I check out everyone who gets close to me. I believe when I know the truth about a person it will be a blessing to me or a hurt. I also can let others have the go ahead or a red light. So you see as I paint and chat my feathers are always reaching to see what is really going on. You are a safe artist but very loving. You have lived some ppl so much you sometimes regret it. Don’t. Love is the greatest gift and many have been so blessed by you. Hate and cheaters will be remembered for bad things. Your love will be remembered in everyone you touch but most of all your love is written down in Angel journals in Heaven to be played for eternity. Keep painting your gorgeous stuff and keep loving. You are on the most incredible right track.
That is beyond amazing. My daughter loves peacocks, I made her a peacock themed junk journal. I showed your video and she says ‘ i want that on our little house in the back’! It’s beautiful.
This is absolutely fantastic!!! The design, the colors and the music is fantastic as well!!! Love it all! It was full of wonderful surprises like the leggings and the artist working. Speaking of working you are the hardest working artist I know! I hope you are doing well!!!
Hey Mike! Thanks so much, It was a really fun project. I had a great time painting the shed over two or three days and then editing all the video was fun as well. The backyard is becoming a lot more colorful. Yes, I’m still working hard! I’m doing great, hope you are too
Absolutely FABULOUS! Im inspired to finish a peacock that I started about 5 years ago, and now must stop procrastinating! Maybe this summer, I’ll be doing some painting in my backyard spaces too! Thanks you for sharing your creative energy!
It’s really my pleasure, I love to inspire. Five years is a long time to procrastinate but I totally understand that state of mind. I am currently procrastinating cleaning my studio to the point that I can hardly move around in there LOL
How many colors did you use? Do I see a periwinkle? I love that your mural has red in it and that you wrapped the tail feathers ‘round the font and onto the red door. Thank you for sharing the process with us.
I only used a few colors, but I added Golden Paints into them to tent them. Yes there is periwinkle in there! And the red is from the doors of the shed and also the door from our house, so I had that on hand. Wrapping the tail feathers around really made it unique, and that was always my idea from the start!
Beautiful; what a lovely way to start and end your day! Just became a Patron and looking forward to seeing behind the scenes of the commission - I also love peacocks. Have you seen the all-white variety?
Thank you for becoming a patron! I hope you will really enjoy the Peacock video series as well as the floral one that has just begun. Lots of great information in there. I’ve only seen the white peacocks in photographs, never in person. I am going to paint another mural on the fence in the front, so stay tuned! And thanks for your support
Great video, it is fun to see you paint. Did you draw the peacock and project your drawing to the outside wall, or draw directly on the wall? If your neighbors can see this I'll be they will all want your art on their exterior. 🙂
Thank you very much, I freehand drew the peacock with chalk and then went over it with the black paint. I made it up, and went with the flow. I really had no plan when I started as to how it would come out in the end and that was really the best part. And yes, my neighbors love it
@@catherinejirikowic8472 Sure you can, all you have to do is try and you can rub chalk out with a wet paper towel super easy. and when you are doing it for yourself it doesn't matter what anyone thinks but you. the neighbors watched it come together and cheered me on. LOL Have faith in yourself! it's only paint.
@@catherinejirikowic8472 I hope you will, So you can remind yourself that you can do it. Remember Winnie the Pooh? You’re stronger and smarter and better than you think you are!
I am a watercolour artist. I am preparing to do my first mural for a town embellishment project. I am wondering what you would recommend as a final protective coat? Thank you for your help. I love your peacock :)
The peacock is fabulous, but honestly, I love the flowers on the fence even more, they're so bright & happy! THANKS for sharing your work!

Hi thanks, I did not use a final protective coat on this, just exterior house paint and Golden professional acrylics.
Beautiful ! How did you draw the outline of the peacock?
I freehanded it with chalk
He's just glorious!!! Most beautiful she's ever!
