That's actually a '73 Dodge Challenger with a vinyl roof. Chrysler didn't make convertible Challengers anymore in 1973. Very cool car and awesome restoration!

It's better than new....I always wondered why they did chrome interiors on models of real cars. A plain black or white interior would have been better.

My dad had a 72 Challenger exactly like this. Red with a white top. The white top was actually a vinyl covering over the metal roof. It had a white interior if I remember correctly. Great job on this one!

I restored this exact casting to as close to original as possible just as u did. Looks almost identical 2 mine. The one I did has a yellow windshield. Could b from whatever does that 2 them but it honestly looks like it came that way. All though I couldn't find any that did so I think it's just from age. Great job.

Nice Work! It looks good as new you did a good job repainting the wheels which is something that I've seen Marty's Matchbox makeover do when it come to repairing older Matchbox cars mustly the old Matchbox cars from the 1950's & 1960's.
