A beautiful application example of microcontrollers! This really unveiled a great mystery I've had for years, on how coin sorters 'knew' their coins. Well taught as always. Thanks!
The effort u put into these videos is insane, thank u so much. Its so nice to follow and we can learn so much from it. And this was a realy nice and interesting topic. I'm glad i found this chanel. U are Electrogod ;D
Awesome! Like all your videos ... fast paced (so we don't get bored) but you really cover things with enough detail that we could reproduce it in our own workshop. Thanks!!
Another excellent video Andrei! I enjoyed learning how these coin selectors work and taking a look at how it could be done with an Arduino or similar microcontroller. I agree, it doesn't make sense to try to completely DIY a version given the commercial version is only 20 dollars. Thank you for putting out this quality content.
At first I thought, well it’ll be good to make one for myself; but at the end your advice made more sense, but it’s good to know the how and everything. Thanks dude, if you ever built it I would to see how you solve those timings
seriously awesome video! I didn't even think about how these things work, they're super cool, it's crazy the amount of data you can get from two cheap IR LED's haha.
Great video! However, I was a little bit disappointed you didn't see the project through to the end and made your own version. I would've loved to see that.
Thanks so much! Just a question, why do we need to measure the speed? I think the speed is related more with how the user put in the coins and how the machine was designed, but not related with the coin itself too much.
I believe a coin comparator works in a similar way, but compares the disturbance caused by the inserted coin with the disturbance of a sample coin chosen by the user.
Thanks for investigation video! 👍 Before that, I planned to order such coin collector just for fun to create digital piggy bank for my daughter.. 😂 Now I, finally, wanna do this..
Great video and I love your dedication in making this video. Do you mind telling me how do I gonna make a project to make an output out of the detected coin? I mean which part of the wiring should I tap to get the sensor for the coin that successfully go through the coin acceptor?
Awesome video. Some places have coins floating around that are worth more than face value because of defects or a temporary change in material used to make the coins. I wonder if someone smart like you could make a machine that sorts out higher value coins. I know people that buy huge boxes of coins then sort them by hand to make a small profit, it would be great to just dump them into a custom coin sorter and return the face value ones for more chances lol.
@Electronoobs I have a question .how can I measure the current value of a capacitor with an Arduino.....can I do it with analog? Edit : anyone please answer
Hi very nice video, i have one question: the coin acceptor can see the coin, even show the value of the coin, but didn't gives the pules and the game doesn't start...what can happen or what component broken inside of the coin acceptor. thanks
Great video. Thanks for posting. For a future video, I always wondered how barcode scanners and bill readers work. How could they be implemented with a controller like an Arduino?
Hello. Thank you for your interesting videos. I have a question for you: I want to design an inductor for my sine wave inverter. Can you tell me how to calculate it?
I have a 20 year old slot machine (pachislo). I have been trying to get it to accept ferris based quarters. I was able to modify it to fit the coin size but after i ran 20 coins through, it now errors on these coins, When I disabled the electromagnet it will not accept any coins. I'm at a loss on how to disable this feature.
Thanks for your guidance Sir. Kindly help. How can install library to Arduino IDE by json link or other source? I didn't found and explanation regarding this topic.
Russian RUclips channel Alex Gyver made something like piggy bank that counts coins automatically. He used only one photodiode, so many people complaint that it works awfully. Now i know why

Thanks Alot , as this type of coin selector modules are not cheap i always wanted to know how they work
thanks for video, i was not able to read coil emf voltage on arduino, could you help?

Great video my guy! These teardown and analysis videos are very cool to watch and learn.

Hahaha thank you so much!
It's literally 2 years I look for a tutorial like this. Thanks!
glad I could help you...
@@ELECTRONOOBS much apreciated
Now thats the type of video i like to see
hahaha thank you!
Man, you dissected that and turned it into something so cool. Great topic.
So that's how these coins selectors differentiate between coins, very interesting. Learned something new today, thank you

That's an amazing teardown and a clear explanation.
Thank you dear❤️❤️❤️...
I was finding such a detailed video on coin acceptor...
keep making such a video....helps a lot👍👍👍❤️

Excellent. Everything clearly explaind. Now I know how coin selector works, thank you :)
Very impressive as always.

Glad you liked it!
Very interesting project! 🙂
This is exactly the information I've been looking for! Preciate you

True. Thank you!
I love these videos explaining how things work

Brilliant, reverse engineering! Development! Really good video 📸

Amazing. Would love to know how to use a scope the way you do
I liked this video very much. Please continuously making this kind of video 👏👏👏👏
Wow, nice explained and demo of the different parts. Thanks man!
How does the commercial coin selector communicate the coins inputted to the microcontroller?
Thanks/ Дякую!
Thanks for investigation video! 👍

Very interesting, thanks for the breakdown.

Great explanation and teardown. Thank you!
Please we can eleminate third condition of magnetic , and just work with diametre and speed ?

thanks i learned a ton, you're the best
Nice video
your videos are always useful. thanks.
Thanks for your useful videos !
Thank you for this video. It was very interesting and also educational.

Hi, what is the coil gauge which you used and which frequency you used?
Very inforative
Great video. This is fascinating 🧐
Hello. Thank you for your interesting videos. I have a question for you: I want to design an inductor for my sine wave inverter. Can you tell me how to calculate it?
What is the difference between the COUNTER and COIN pin?
Can I get the basic code for this to work, so the I can feed the measurements in and make it work completely
Love your videos

Good information
:) Thanks!
where did you get this from? PH?
Awesome video. Thank you
Very cool 😎
Great video! To be continued? :)
Please made part 2 of reading induction disterbance using lm339 opamp with arduino sketch
Thanks for your guidance Sir.
Kindly help.

great project
Thank You
I need your help with a project I’m working on..
Wooow, is great!
Great!
Thanks bro

where did you pick up old french coins ? funny 😃
I honestly don't know. We all have a coin case and mine has some french coins in it. hahahaha
