@@dslowmen2746 Yes but even with that. There is no reason a Joker should be alive if Batman is killing, especially if Joker and Harley killed his adopted son.
I mean... It would be fine having a Batman that kills if it is done right, like the Flashpoint one. The thing is that this one doesn't look like he has a moral code. A limit. That's what makes batman, batman.
That's the point. Batman is not Batman. Alfred even lightly scolds him for this. "New rules?" To which Bruce responds, "Nothing's changed. We've always been criminals." Batman fell from grace, but Superman pulled him out of that, inspiring him to do better and reminding him of why he began his crusade in the first place. People act like Batman kills just because when in actually there is an in-story reason for it.
@@Real_Tasty that’s even worse lol. He breaks his number one rule and starts indiscriminately slaughtering random thugs, and Alfred, who is supposed to be his rock and keep him grounded and down-to-earth, makes a simple snide remark about “new rules”. Absolute garbage writing.
idk I'd say he still have somewhat of a code. The only time he really uses his guns to slaughter people is when he's in a vehicle and the thugs are shooting machine gun rounds at him. I figured at that point, it's a hassle to him and decides "fuck it", but when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, he chooses to disarm them and then beat them to a pulp instead (as seen in the warehouse fight). So yeah, the only scenes that really bothered me were the ones with the batmobile and batwing, how their filled with him spraying bullets and blatantly exploding the bad guys, but if Arkham Knight taught me anything, it's that you can't really involve the batmobile in combat unless if you're gonna have heavy plot armor and contrivances trying to justify the "no killing" rule.
Best thing is, even after his change of heart with deciding to save Superman, he still acts like the brutish murderer in the next scene it's insane lmao
As a med student, this was by far the most painful. The force probably knocked him unconscious from the shock of the brain hitting the back of his skull, and he very likely developed a hematoma as a result. So imagine being unconscious but still being able to feel a grueling horrifying pain
This scene ruined the point of The Dark Knight. Joker wanted to break his one rule, *Not to kill people* If Batman kills common thugs with guns. What is the difference between him & his parent's killer.

to be honest, I don't see any problems with Zack's Batman killing people, and I don't understand other people who say "oh my God, the mouse is a killer" although if you remember, almost every Batman in the movie is a killer, Batman in Nolan's movie killed Ras Al Ghul by abandoning him, Keaton's Batman is generally a sadistic maniac against the background of the Batfleck
@@BloodandSoil990 Christian Bale's kills weren't that black and white, and I can't enjoy those other Batman movies. Bale's Batman jumped on Dent and they both felt off the roof, it is different when Batfleck stabs people in the chest with batarangs
@@thegoodfather1177 Don't make excuses for Bale. He killed. If Nolan wanted to have Batman not kill, he would've wrote the script differently. In Batman Begins, Batman left Ras to die in the train. He could've saved him but he chose not to and as he flew away, he smirked at Ras knowing that he was leaving him to die. Does that sound very Batman to you? In the dark knight, the scene where the police are transporting harvey dent to safety, Batman rams his batmobile head on and killing the joker henchman that was driving the garbage truck. As far as Harvey dent goes, Batman could've done other things to avoid from killing dent, when Harvey was distracted by flipping his coin in the air, Batman could've fired his grappling gun at dents arm that was holding the gun, and pulled him away from the boy or he could've thrown one of his batarangs at dents hand that was holding the gun and he could've dropped it and then Batman could've ran over to subdue him but no, they decided to have Batman just run over to tackle harvey causing him to fall to his death. In the dark knight rises, when Talia and her henchman were trying to get the bomb through Gotham, Batman cut them off in the batwing ans started firing on the vehicle they were driving and he killed talias henchman which caused the truck to crash and killing talia in the process. So yes, Bale killed. As far as Batffleck killing, he killed in self defense cuz criminals were trying to kill him. The car chase, Batman chased after them cuz he wanted the kryptonite but Lex's men started firing machine guns and rocket launchers at him, so he fired back in self defense. He never stabbed guys in the stomach with his batarang. The only time he stabbed someone was in the warehouse scene when he stabbed that dude in the shoulder and pinned him to the wall. Also, it's obvious you don't understand the story behind this Batman, this Batman is older. He's already dealt with the joker, bane breaking his back, losing jason todd and a whole lot of different tragedies in his life. He's become broken, depressed, trying to find comfort by sleeping with random women and drinking alot. This Batman was nearly at the end of his rope. It was at this point where he saw a new outlook on criminals and how they treat the innocent. He decided that if criminals are gonna harm the innocent, he's gonna harm them. If criminals try to kill him, he's gonna defend himself even if it means killing them. But at the end of bvs, superman changed batmans heart and helped him realize that he had become the monster and saw superman as a hero and inspiration. What did Thomas Wayne tell Bruce in Batman Begins, "Bruce, why do we fall? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up." This was that story. Batman had fallen down a dark hole but with the inspiration of Superman, he picked himself back up. This is why I love this Batman and love what Zack did. It shows us that even through our darkest days, there's always hope for us. Thank you Zack Snyder.
@@BloodandSoil990 How much was the cheque they gave you? It is clear in the narrative of the Nolan movies that Batman doesn't consider himself a killer, he refused to kill Joker didn't he? There was no reason to leave Joker alive, they didn't know that Harvey and Rachel were kidnapped yet. Batman chose not to, according to his code he did not kill. Batman made a rash decision charging Dent, he fell with him, not knowing for sure what would happen, Batman in some cases caused a death, like firing explosives to blind the truck driver, causing the crash, but you must see the difference, and Affleck does stab someone in the chest with a batarang in the warehouse scene, Batman has been through all that trauma in the comics and carried on without breaking his code, BvS was inspired by the Dark Knight Returns, a comic where Batman didn't kill either, this story didn't even work in universe, if Batman started killing, then James Gordon and the entire GCPD would start hunting him down. Batman wanted to make sure no one would suffer like he did, God only knows how many more vengeful orphans he created in BvS
@@thegoodfather1177 First off, no one paid me a "check" not "cheque". Batman did not stab the dude in the chest, he stabbed him in the shoulder. He was stabbed in the shoulder. It clearly shows the guy trying to pull not a batarang but a knife out of his shoulder. It was the same knife the dude used to stab Batman inthe shoulder as well. You need to get some glasses or better contacts cuz your eyesight is misleading. Batman made a rash decision? Batman's is the worlds greatest detective which should make him pretty damn smart at the same time. He couldve easily shot his grapple gun at Harvey dent while he was distracted and pulled him away from the boy and subdue him. You're telling me that he could do that on the joker who was falling to his death from a building but not to Harvey dent who was just maybe 10 or 15 ft away from him standing still? Don't give me that. That's nonsense. Also, how do you justify how he dealt with ras al ghul? He knew what he was doing. He gladly let him die on that train. He smirked about as he flew away. If you're gonna justify bales killing then bens kills are justified as well because like I said, Batfleck didn't kill criminals in cold blood, he killed in self defense. They were teying to kill him. Do you expect Batman not to defend himself? Why would he have weapons or have guns and rocket launchers on the batmobile and batwing unless he doesnt intend to use them? The fact that people argue over this is stupid. Batman has always killed from the time the very first comic book of him came out, up to now. As far as you saying jim gordon would've hunted Batman down for killing in cold blood, again, Batman didnt kill in cold blood. He killed in self defense. The main thing that made Batman epic to me was his strong will in not breaking his *Moral Code* as it shows how strong he is mentally...... meanwhile a Batman who kills shouldn't have any enemies......or a rogues gallery as if Batman became a killer, then there is no way he wouldn't kill all of his enemies in Arkham Asylum so Snyder Batman makes no sense at all
@Chocobo He gunned down a bunch of goons. Dumbass.
@Chocobo he chucked a crate into the head of guy so hard that he flew into the wall behind him. At best gave him a major concussion and at worst (probably) cracked his skull like an egg. I would say that's pretty targeted

I mean... It would be fine having a Batman that kills if it is done right, like the Flashpoint one. The thing is that this one doesn't look like he has a moral code. A limit. That's what makes batman, batman.
That's the point. Batman is not Batman. Alfred even lightly scolds him for this.
"New rules?"
To which Bruce responds,
"Nothing's changed. We've always been criminals."
Batman fell from grace, but Superman pulled him out of that, inspiring him to do better and reminding him of why he began his crusade in the first place. People act like Batman kills just because when in actually there is an in-story reason for it.
@@Real_Tasty yeah after he didn't kill superman he kills 10 goons woww snydecut is truly a masterpiece

That warehouse fight was the best fight scene tho
Forget whether the dream kills count or not, any single kill by Batman ruins him
So I guess Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer and Christian Bale are ruined too?
Batman made a rash decision charging Dent, he fell with him, not knowing for sure what would happen, Batman in some cases caused a death, like firing explosives to blind the truck driver, causing the crash, but you must see the difference, and Affleck does stab someone in the chest with a batarang in the warehouse scene,
Batman has been through all that trauma in the comics and carried on without breaking his code, BvS was inspired by the Dark Knight Returns, a comic where Batman didn't kill either, this story didn't even work in universe, if Batman started killing, then James Gordon and the entire GCPD would start hunting him down. Batman wanted to make sure no one would suffer like he did, God only knows how many more vengeful orphans he created in BvS
@@thegoodfather1177 First off, no one paid me a "check" not "cheque". Batman did not stab the dude in the chest, he stabbed him in the shoulder. It clearly shows he stabbed him in the shoulder and when he did it, it pinned him to the wall. If he stabbed that man in the chest, he would've been dead. I own the film and have seen so many times. Ben is by far the best and most comic book accurate Batman we have ever had on the silver screen.
