Awesome work. We do this in the car audio game as well. Good call on the roof. Do the floor pan as well for even more effect. Especially since you have the front seats pulled already. 👍🏻👍🏻
Just finished replacing all the weatherstripping and seals on all doors including upgrading the door channels. What a difference having all new compared to the 20 year old ones. Well worth the time (about a day) and money IMHO. Used all FORD parts and had zero issue with fitment. May try the kilmat on the doors in place of the factory weather shielding as it need replacing.
I bought a 2001 Lariat roll over wreck and it had the sound deadening throughout the cab, but not the doors. Of course the cab was scrap so I stripped it down and installed my 99 XL cab on the truck converting it to a Lariat. I moved everything from the 01 to my 99 including the dash, harness, carpet etc. With a straight piped 7.3 I really don't need the sound deadening and it sounds awesome! I wouldn't do the cut out's for the locks...after you do a few of them, they are a breeze. Remove the 3 torx head screws and the two nuts from the outside handle. Pull the outside handle out and disconnect it. That gives you access to remove the wires and other linkages. The rattle is from where you have missing linkage guides and loose hardware. None of my doors on either of my F350's sound like your before clips. I would spray your doors with a water hose and look to see what gets wet...easiest way to determine if the hinges need to be adjusted or if it's the door seals.
Hey nick. I recently did my door panels. I have pics of the wiring for the mirrors if you need it. Nice job on the truck. Let me know how quiet she goes down the road. O make sure you get the handles for the door panels as well. There different
Funny you say that, I was gonna go to Home Depot and see if can find some flexible rubber tube to shove in there to make it little more stiffer to give a better seal.
Just now finishing up the dash install, I’ll probably do a sound decimal app after done and people watching can compare with their trucks and their apps
7.3 Lexus sounds proofing coming along, big difference made on the doors. Hit up Zachary for any other parts you need, he has a hook up in the junk yard. Check out his last video. Thanks for that Happy Thanksgiving video. Enjoy the holiday, take care. 👍👌💪😉

How many boxes did it take you to cover the truck?

How come you didnt use the serrated roller's and roll all the material out?
What a transformation on this truck. I have been watching from the beginning. Love the upgrades. Keep it up.
This video is absolutely fantastic. Terrific install, super clean work, I really appreciate the pride and effort. 12/10!!!
Yes!!! So excited that the video is out

Thanks man, I was gonna pull all the handles and locks to clean and lube things and fix the lock actuators, she shall be as new as possible
@@FixItNick You can buy chrome covers for the handles too. I think a set of 4 was around $20 at Advance Auto Parts.
More Powerstroke content please!!!!! Love it Nick!!
Nicely done. Make sure to file off any sharp edges on lock acces cut outs.
Thanks man, yup I did, it was hard to tell in Timelapse vid
Perfect job brooo
Well I guess I need a raise lol gunna start out with sound deadening first. Really like how yours turned out. Eventually I’ll dash swap it.
NICE 👍👍
Thx George!
@@FixItNick Happy Turkey Day to you and the family. 🍗🦃
Looks awesome!

good work. I've seen surgical tube pulled through old door seals to firm them up. use cable soap if you try though it gets sticky.
Funny you say that, I was gonna go to Home Depot and see if can find some flexible rubber tube to shove in there to make it little more stiffer to give a better seal.
@@FixItNick That's a good way to do it. I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry Holiday Season
I wish my doors weren't rotted out. doing under the hood and behind the front wheel wells makes a huge difference as well
I did under the carpet
I was just thinking the same, I already replaced my rear doors, just need to find a drivers side now then ill be doing this
So question did the kill mat help under the dash? I have kill.matted my interior and have been thinking of doing behind the dash. Great work!!!
Just now finishing up the dash install, I’ll probably do a sound decimal app after done and people watching can compare with their trucks and their apps

Happy thanks giving bro, yea he hit me up asked me what color door panels I wanted
The more holes you cut in the mat the more noise so why take the time
Going to look good when finished,Why don’t you spray the door covers
Don’t want old style door panels doesn’t match the dash style
@@FixItNick it was just a thought mate stay safe see you next blog
looking great! But I still miss the special edition Chevy Silverado!
That was a great build!! 👍👌💪
Yea me too lol, if it was a diesel I would have kept it
@@FixItNick smart move!! 👍😉
