Bless you, and the couple of people that asked you to make a video about VKB software. I've been changing settings for two days trying to get the toggle setting to work for a button. I've watched videos and read reddit pages. Nobody's solution made a difference. At 5:53 in your video, you talked about two button that we would be using the most, which was odd, since no one else mentioned them. Amazing how saving your work when finished would make such a difference. I'm too use to sliding the mouse speed slider over and closing the window, that I figured it did the same. I appreciate the time you spent making the videos. I subscribed and watched the rest. Take care.
I mean, button mapping really isn't that complicated, what makes this software look so complicated is that there are options to allow you to do just about anything you can imagine. Also remember though that the average computer user isn't all that smart about customizing detailed options in general, so that's not too shocking.

26min: I changed A2B in Axes tab to: 1. Zones 0 1% (hystersis) Vbutt: 8. But I can't figure out the next part. I'm trying to get elite dangerous to boost whenever I'm at the edge of my stick movement.
Thank you. At least now I get an idea how to assign SHIFT and macros. It feels like there is missing some kind of UI on top this one. The programmers should have a look on the Saitek X52 software and get an idea how setups can be programmed easily without a degree in micro electronics. It got worse in the last years since it was branded form Mad Catz to Saitek but even now it is light years better than this.
The manual is as horrendous as the cfg plaform. I dont understand any of it. I have the ww2 KG12 and i dont know what to do with the HAT at all. It cant be used as POV and its really impossible to control the movement with it. Anyone got any suggestions?
@@dcstutorial Weird they don't do anything in the program when I tried to calibrate them. They don't show any motion, but they worked yesterday when I was messing around in DCS.
@@nomar5spaulding There's a red light at the top. If it's not off, it's set to 8 way hat. Press the stick in, the red light comes on and it is set to axis
How do I program the omni throttle twist axis to trigger a keyboard button press when I twist forward and another button when I slowing bring it back to the center? Since the twist comes back to center(default resting place), I want center to be no keyboard button press. Also, no key presses if i twist it back past the default center point.
im not sure if what ur asking is possible in the software. the closest i can get is by going to the profile tab on the bottom, then the axes tab, then go to the axes2buttons section and set the type to "zone" and number to 2. then set the virtual button that you want. this will actiavte virtual buttons, though, i dont think theres a way to activate keyboard buttons. however, im not 100% sure, you may want to look if there are other ways to do it in the manual
good grief.. lol... was here to see how to use the button wizard... game is not recognizing the massive number of buttons with all this connected, so need to remap the buttons to keystrokes... where do I see how to do this??
I own a Gladiator NXT, flashing the NXT software tells me my device signature is incorrect. Upon flashing the EVO firmware it goes straight through? Have VKB put an incorrect signature on my device?

yeah i think the interface needs to be more intuitive
How would I set the saturation for the axes movement? I would like to set it at 70% so I don't have to move all the way to the edge.
I’m trying to use the x & y axis of the joystick to control the mouse instead of the mini joystick, is this possible???

I'm tryna mess with the led lights, but that test tab no longer comes up, so I dont know how to.
I found it under global tab (bottom) then left side tab under "external devices" you have "LEDs" on VKB device config v0.92.51
hmm. maybe unistall and reinstall to latest version? im not sure why the test tab wouldn't appear.
Do you know what the Rot X and Rot Y axes are? I know Rot Z is the "twist rudder" function

none of this makes any sense how do i make my stecs flaps switch be 3 buttons instead of an up or down switch?

i'm not sure what you mean? maybe try putting the settings to default or make sure you flash the correct firmware?
