This amazing young pianist is so insightful and imaginative, she imparts many maxims that go to make performances live and communicate.
One of todays biggest talents on the world stage.
I discovered her recently. This kind of artistry is so rare nowadays.
brilliant amazing pianist and musician!!
Such a great pianist and an amazing human being as well, beautiful, I am learning so much
Where did you come from? 🎉what a treasure! I’m a composer and jazz musician, both. 82 years young. My father saw Rachmaninov in recital in Buffalo NY IN 1927.
My family was an American working class family, but deeply devoted to music…. I grew up hearing the 78 rpm recordings of Rachmaninov performing his concertos……etc
Incredible lesson and such amazing pianist. Love it so much
Zlata is a musicians pianist. Her performances always have meaning. The main theme in the last movement of the 2nd Concerto was actually composed by his friend Nikita Morosov. According to his Grandson who narrates the DVD 'Harvest of Sorrow' Rachmaninoff faked the nervous breakdown after the failure of his 1st Symphony so he could meet Dr. Dahl's daughter.
spotted
So much misinformation about Rachmaninoff, how do you know? He did not quit performing b/c of arthritis, last concert 1 month before his death. He did need treatment for depression from Dr Dahl. People jump to such conclusions! Wait a minute, how do you know about these suicides years ago?
what a great video. I happen to come from the Tchaikovsky lineage (through Nikolaevand Tanyev). Rachmaninoff also took advice from Tchaikovsky. Have a look at my 100 (almost) compositions. They may not quite be as good as Rachmaninoff's, in fact, they are utter rubbish. I could watch this extraordinary woman play number 3 for hours. such lightness of touch. she clearly loves it. so do i.
Great lesson on the Etudes-Tableaux. Zlata gets a nice sound from the piano. If I were 25 years younger, I'd be hovering over her like bees on a honeycomb - she's a hottie! 😍
"What do you know about Rachmaninoff?"
Great Pianist.... Sad.... Yes... but I was crushed when I read that he had to quit playing due to arthritis in his hands. What a cruel fate.
She is talented, beautiful, strong, cute, amazing, everything great in the world.
Why no mention that Mahler conducted Rach 3 ?
Zlata, you are adorable fantastic.
What the lady said at 1:49 in the back ?
"And I heard him play."
Достойно!! Девушка!!!
