Battle Beast's greatest weakness is that He can't fly, so it kinda make sense if a bunch of Viltrumites were to ganged up on him. But Him voluntarily wanting to be captured is a solid reason also.
I find it funny that he can square up against any viltrumite but gets frozen in space due to his physiology. Truly everyone has a flaw or weakness. Especially considering battle beast species being relatively normal in comparison to viltrumites but he can still square with the best of them.

I mean what is there is cold, but yeah there's mostly just nothing there, and nothing is a great insulator. Something that doesn't produce heat will gradually cool to 3ish kelvin, but something that does produce heat (like a lion man) would need to worry more about overheating than freezing.

Well I mean, a gang of Viltrumites were able to overwhelm Thragg at one point. Granted, they were some of the strongest Viltrumites the Empire had to offer (Thula, Kregg, Lucan, and Anissa) but they were able to do it. Thragg being on par with/stronger than Battle Beast, there is reason to believe that enough Viltrumites could probably restrain him. Especially with their flight advantage.
Haven’t read comics, but I feel like it’s definitely not impossible for them to capture him if they had strength in numbers. But if he really is just that much stronger than them, then I’m really excited to see his return in the show.

These aren't humans we are talking about. These are viltrumites. If you get a dozen of them on battle beast, you can't certainly capture him. It'll be tough but not impossible.

Y'know, I didn't question how he got captured back when I read the comic, but now that I think about it in hindsight, it's likely Battle Beast allowed himself to be a prisoner. *MAJOR SPOILERS BELOW* Battle Beast could easily kill Viltrumites considering he went toe to toe with Thragg, and if Viltrumites fought him it's likely a bunch of them would have died in the process which would be problematic for them considering Viltrumites are nearly extinct. If they caught him while he was Frozen then he'd just fuck them up after thawing, so I figure it's a case similar to Allen where he let himself be captured, probably in hopes of finding a strong opponent.
Battle beast is not way stronger than the viltrumites he’s basically on par with them, he’s just capable that’s all and he’s an outstanding warrior, if a viltrumite isn’t taking him serious they getting killed simple as that o could say tho he possibly is stronger than a couple but for example, invincible is weaker than battle beast we can say that, but also compared to invincible people age wise he’s basically a baby and not battle tested at all, which viltrumites strength comes with age so Omni man been alive for thousands of years, which is the reason he’s way stronger than others of his kind and knows how to fight, he’s definitely battle tested, to where invincible is way weaker since he’s so young not an experienced fighter etc..

I think he only beat Battle Beast because he wounded himself because Thragg was wounded to make even i think if he didn't do that Battle Beast would have beaten Thragg

Also, pretty sure most Viltrumites are faster than BB (I’m sure he’s fast, but like… fast like HULK; he’s big and can cover large distances quickly, but it’s not controlled speed like the Flash, so…). Also, at the end of season one, it looked like BB was imprisoned.

Battle beast evened out the injuries when Thragg got his guts cut open by the Rognarr. Now I'm not 100% sure about this bit but off speculation, Thragg would heal faster than BB. All we know is their durability is matched BUT we have seen Viltrumites heal fatal injuries fast, never seen BB hurt

During the scourge virus standoff, Thragg makes it clear that he could take a direct hit from Allens scourge virus gun and still kill him in one hit before the virus takes effect, and Allen doesn't disagree. The fact that he even brought the scourge gun shows he knew he didn't stand a chance against Thragg. Battlebeast on the other hand wounded himself and then proceeded to fight Thragg for days on end, and still almost won. At no point in the story is Allen even close to BB in strength.
Well, I think he froze in vacuum. He still needs a space ship to travel through space. And the ship is far easier to kill than battle beast is. So destroy the ship, BB freezes, take him on board... realize you made a mistake by bringing a creature onto your ship that could solo your species. classic
