i loved the movie and camila did great can’t believe it was her first role. she’s currently in new york rumoured to be preparing for a new movie so I’m very excited
I never clicked on a reaction video faster. Been waiting for you to react to Camila again for awhile. And I'm a HUGE fan of this movie. Not just because Camila stars in it (although I honestly believe she did a brilliant job for her debut role), but because it is genuinely a fun and very entertaining film. I thought the entire cast was amazing, loved the soundtrack, and I loved the progressive themes in this movie. The jokes were funny and I was impressed with Camila's comedic timing. It's the hardest skill to master as an actor and she is a natural at it. Thanks so much for this, it made my day!
The actress who played the wicked stepmother (Idina Menzel) played the first ever Elphaba in Wicked. She was the first to sing Defying Gravity. She a Broadway legend.
Watched this with my daughters when it came out and we LOVED it! Camila killed it :) Side note, you need to understand the full musical theater royalty that is Idina Menzel (the stepmother). Yes, she was Elsa in Frozen, but she is a Broadway legend. She was the original Maureen in Rent and Elphaba in Wicked - she is sooooo damn good.
I love your reaction Camila was amazing in it.I really don't know if this is her first role or not but she is soo good as a actress. She is so confident, beautiful, funny and a generous girl I love her so much!! Your should react to her other songs too they are Soo good!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I should add I watched this with my daughters and their reaction was much like yours!! They loved it and it's been playing every Saturday morning in our house like a ritual since the release. The fact that I still enjoy it is a testament of how entertaining this movie is.
I really loved this movie. Thought Camila was amazing in it. I would have never known this was her first role. She is so confident in it and has great acting skills, especially her comedic delivery. Her voice is amazing, and "Million To One" should get more recognition. The entire casting is perfect and everyone really excelled in their roles. This movie deserved more critical acclaim but sadly many critics are close-minded and seemed to take issue with the women empowerment and diversity themes in this film. The fact that the godmother brilliantly played by Billy Porter got so much criticism simply because it deviated from the "norm" is ridiculous. Anyways, I know that everyone who actually watched the movie loved it and many watched it more than once. Thanks for this reaction Beveraggi!! I love that you are both objective and positive, and I really appreciate your support for this film.
I think the reason most people don’t get the movie is because they aren’t necessarily fans of Camila. Camilizers *lived* for this - especially because it was her first acting debut (which she absolutely killed.) But if you don’t know Camila then you won’t be gravitated, I do agree that it feels like she’s literally playing herself.
I agree with most of the issues people raise with this movie. I can agree it's kinda bad.... But I love it so so so much, and I'm so glad you gave it a fair chance.
OK I'm sorry for being the one hater of this movie in this community but I just have to put in my two cents. The reason people and myself hate this movie is for one, it's copying other Cinderella adaptions and it's doing it very poorly. Like it's taking from Ella Enchanted and Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and making this kind of Walmart version of them. It's also not funny. I know comedy is subjective but in my personal opinion, the delivery and the dialogue are so stale. Also and this is another personal opinion, I like the step family more than Cinderella and that's not a good sign. I found Cinderella annoying and obnoxious and the step mother and step sisters I thought were more likable. Like I actually rooted for them more than Cinderella. I honestly would've been way more invested if the movie focused more on them. Also James fucking Corden. That human head on mouse body scene was pure nightmare fuel and I hate how attention seeking he made himself. Also the one thing that really upset me was how it claimed itself to be the first girl boss Cinderella. Like no it is not. There are several other girl boss Cinderellas. I can name several. The Disney animated Cinderella, Lily James' Cinderella, Brandy's Cinderella, Drew Barrymore's Ever After character Danielle. This movie is just so full of itself that it takes from other versions, turns them into something less enjoyable and still claims to have the first girl boss Cinderella. I really don't mean to pressure others into hating it. If you like it, then that's fine. I'm just sharing why a lot of us don't like it. There are more reasons why I don't like it but I'm gonna stop here cause my comment is already too long. To conclude, like I understand this is Camilla's first acting role but I just wish she could've tried a little harder to be less herself and more like Cinderella.
