I don’t think the program would be canned even if TSR would switch (which I doubt we see) because of the amount of work Shaver and Tim Engler have put into it to get it where it is. Granted Rudeen and McCandless doesn’t get the same package TSR does but there’s still enough crossover between the two to make it worthwhile. As far as the Toyota deal goes, the only car I know of other than the Roth cars to have one was the RSR 8 last year for some testing. I think the reliability aspect is too low to have them available to the general public. I’ve lost count of how many those two have lost or had issues with this year, but far outweighs everyone else
Tim Engler in Indy does all the fuel set ups and tuning on Donny’s engines. He pulls into Tim’s shop, unloads 4 motors puts them in a car one at a time and Dynos them until they get what they want out of each set up. It takes a village.
Pretty sure Joe Gibbs hasn't let Christopher Bell go drive and race dirt cars since Coy Gibbs died, the way I understood it Coy was the one that could talk old man Gibbs into letting Bell go race on dirt, so if Bell doesn't get to race on dirt, then I doubt Chase Briscoe will get to race on dirt either
Chase Briscoe is limited to racing a 410 already with his current team. That’s why he has Karter Sarff occasionally driving his car. If Briscoe is unable to drive the 410 again next year I’m sure that Sarff will continue to drive it.
I saw the McCandless #29 with a Ford engine under the hood at Eldora last year but they seemed to be back to the Chevy-based platform this year. I sure hope Ford doesn't leave sprint car racing as it will be fun to watch the Ford versus Toyota manufacturer battle.

I know when briscoe goes to JGR in the offseason, he won’t be racing sprint cars at all cause of that contract agreement thing unless it’s not even in writing idk. But I do think he will put the TRD power plant in his sprint cars for who ever drives them.
Something about the Ford just doesn't work. An ICE is basically an air pump. It has to have a solid block that holds the crankshaft in without coming apart. Next the valve train has to hang together, and it must breath well through the intake and exhaust ports. Valve timing has always been critical. It's unclear why Ford has never built a competitive sprint car engine. It's a one gear car. Who here knows what RPM they are generally set up to run at?

The RFK entries #6 and #17 have the 3rd and joint-6th best average finishing position of all full-season cars in the Cup Series. If I recall correctly, Front Row Motorsports have sat on the pole for most of the speedway races this year, and speedway quali is basically a dyno run, so clearly Ford's engine team isn't slacking. I haven't even mentioned the factory-supported RTR team in Formula Drift.....that won last year's FD drivers' title.That isn't even all of it. Ford clearly cares because victories even in non-production categories get them credibility with car enthusiasts, who are the type to pay attention to this sort of thing. That they struggled in the early days of their sprint car effort is to be expected with a brand-new powerplant in a highly competitive arena, and even there the Ford team is starting to figure their shit out enough to give TSR and Schatz a fighting chance. The Blue Oval is doing just fine, all things considered.

Not sure why people think TSR would go with Moper. Moper hasn't invested money in dirt racing for many years and it's not as simple for any engine builder to just build a Moper head for a 410 engine. Who pays for the time, effort and more importantly the development. Moper is investing in drag racing and has done so since it's departure from dirt racing and hasn't shown any interest in returning to any other form of motorsports. It makes no sense for all the time and financial investment and development of the Ford engine on the TSR side just to walkway given TSR seem to have gotten through the development period. I see no changes with the engine, it will either remain a Ford named engine or the engine will be badged as either TSR, Shaver or even Pruett as an in-house TSR engine. Possibly Ford Preformance is removed from the car but TSR has plenty of sponsors in place to cover that financial loss. An engine in sprintcar racing isn't the most important factor these days, it's shock development that makes the difference.

Chase is not going to be allowed to race dirt. Glad he got a top ride but gibbs sucks. The High Limit guys took a lot of talent and competition from Woo. I think it allows Gravel and SchatZ to look better than they are. Tony Srewart does have an investment in Ford but he may still be pissed they vetoed signing Kyle Larson. He certainly has shown he is not shy about Big moves. I think he was smart to get out of nascar as those teams all lose big money.
Side note: I'm curious about WoO exclusivity thing. Kofoid has like 6 races outside of WoO. Plus others still haven't used them all. Just curious about this because I hope that maybe some National tour drivers can make it to Texarkana 67 Speedway at the beginning of November. It was a great track to watch last weekend

I think your wrong about Schatz. He is always commenting about trying this or that with the engine. Shouldnt be a thing at this point. Also go get a pit pass and watch how he does NOT like his crew. Also from Donnys mother herself, she told me he does not like the Ford program. He WILL be done with that crew and engine next year as the contract is up this year.

Chase is not going to be allowed to race dirt. Glad he got a top ride but gibbs sucks. The High Limit guys took a lot of talent and competition from Woo. I think it allows Gravel and SchatZ to look better than they are. Tony Srewart does have an investment in Ford but he may still be pissed they vetoed signing Kyle Larson. He certainly has shown he is not shy about Big moves. I think he was smart to get out of nascar as those teams all lose big money.
Side note: I'm curious about WoO exclusivity thing. Kofoid has like 6 races outside of WoO. Plus others still haven't used them all. Just curious about this because I hope that maybe some National tour drivers can make it to Texarkana 67 Speedway at the beginning of November. It was a great track to watch last weekend

Bell raced at Millbridge not long ago. It's not entirely true that drivers are completely barred.

Well I'm not watching Nascar. I'd rather watch two dudes kissing than a Nascar race. I do however have stuff to do during Sunday afternoons, which only allows me time in the evening to watch videos.
Simply based on the logo, I'd have zero confidence in the Ford. I mean, when your brand identity looks like something an 11 year old has thrown together in microsoft paint attention to detail is not the first thing that would come to mind.
Donny looks good this because of Highlimit, If there was no Highlimit series this year Donny would not have 5 wins maybe 1 or 2 and would not be close to being a top 3 driver in points
Sweet is the only departure from WoO to HL that amounts to any wins at all, or a change in points position.
