When I checked the comments, I found quite a lot comments are" Why there are two dance videos?" or "Why there are 8 member dance video and 9 member dance video?" or "Who is missing?" So, for short answer, Mina is missing in the upper video, and she is NOT a new member. She was suffering from "anxiety disorder" and did not show in 8 member dance video in order to take a rest. But she still participated in MV. Eventually she overcame it and came back and participated in new dance video (lower video). 댓글들을 보니깐 의외로 꽤 많은 댓글들이 "왜 8명, 9명 안무가 따로 있나요? 누가 빠진거죠? 왜 안무 영상이 2개나 있나요?" 라는 댓글들이 보여서 답변을 하게 되었습니다. 짧은 답변을 하자면, 미나는 당시 위쪽의 필스페셜 안무 영상을 찍을 당시 "불안 장애"라는 건강 상태이였습니다. 따라서 휴식을 취하기 위해 활동을 잠시 중단하게 되었습니다. 그래도 필스페셜 공식 뮤비 촬영에는 참석하였습니다. 그리고 다행히 마침내 미나는 극복하고 다시 트와이스 활동에 참여하게 되었습니다. 미나가 돌아오게 되어 아래쪽 영상인 "필스페셜 완전체 안무 영상"을 다시 찍게 된 것입니다. 긴 답변을 알고 싶으시다면 영상을 시청해주시길 바랍니다: ruclips.net/video/RqmTeERVQrk/видео.html

True!! now that ive seen the OT 9 Dance Practice, i feel like the OT 8 version looks very “empty”
and that's what happen with group with 6 or 8 member, this thing also happen to SKZ knowing they're OT8 from now on, there will always 1 member beyond the center, also 2PM

Can we talk about how hard this is for them as dancers? They didn't just leave a space for Mina, there are some parts that they really switched parts from 8 member ver and 9 member ver, imagine how confusing that is daaaaaamn Twice out there being so talented

Most of the choreo on the 8person requires a person to be at the back of another person to maintain symmetry in choreo, thus she is also hidden.
So technically there are 2 additional people who can be seen in the 9person choreo.

The part with Mina in the center looks so much satisfying and beautiful. She has her big spotlight there but not too long so she won’t have too much pressure and attention. It’s so beautiful!!

Crazy how the addition of only 1 member makes such a huge difference. The 9 member choreo looks so much fuller and more vibrant.
No matter what everyone says, it is definitely proven that when an odd-numbered group is missing even one member, the choreo changed drastically.

@@alienfromtheplanetoftoes1646 The reason for why there was 8 members instead of nine was because one of them wasnt gonna be there for the comeback. She cameback after it was released, so they did the choreography together when she came back, which is why they look different in this comparison. This member was mina, so there has always been 9 members, just one was absent. Hope this helps!

Actually Momo said on vlive they were practicing the Japanese comeback that day, and even more so lately. My guess is they haven't recorded more&more's dp yet, because they usually dress up a bit for that, and all we've seen them in so far are sweats!
Wow just shows how much they had to change to keep it symmetrical without Mina, the adapted choreo has a lot more times when one member is stuck at the back behind someone else. Other times there were changes and I couldn't work out why they happened! The girls have worked very hard to remember two different versions of the same choreography (especially Chaeyoung)
Yes please. I'm no dancer but I'm sure it took a lot of effort on their part to figure out how to balance the team from 9 to 8 members. As you can see, even though its 1 less member, it goes from an odd number to an even number. Flows and patterns must have had to chance significantly. But can we also appreciate the fact that the 8 member version pattern doesnt feel drastically different because they just balanced it so well. Multi-talented professionals right there.

대단하다 8명이 할때 9명과 같은 대형을 유지하기 위해 뒤에 가리게 선것도 대단하고 9명이 됐을 때 뒤에 있던 애들이 동선을 채우면서 꽉 차는 것도 멋있다 자기들은 9명이 하나라는걸 증명하는 거 같아

The complete version feels so big like everything is so big unlike the 8 members it feels like lacking and so many spaces

They had to adjust it in order to make the choreography symmetrical, just like in the OT9 version.

활동한지 좀 되면 안무를 자기 느낌대로 춰서 군무가 안 맞는 그룹들이 꽤 많던데 트와이스는 몇 개월, 몇 년이 지나도 칼군무네요 안무 영상은 안 나올 줄 알았는데 나와서 기쁘다!!

The fact that the first one felt pretty empty states that Mina is really important in twice! No matter what people say. Mina deserve the spotlight given so as the girls. They worked very hard for us. Arren Hidalgo yea Dahyun and Jeongyeon sometimes gets to be in the corner so when the members had to distance a bit like on the dance break and every chorus them two has to like rUn and go to their places, as mina came back its much more distanced and far. I D K

진짜 영영 안 올라올 줄 알았던 9스페셜 안무 영상ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ뮤비에서 안무가 안 나왔던 구간들 안무 처음 보는데 진짜 한 명 차이가 이렇게 큰지 처음 알았고, 짝수에서 홀수가 되니까 대형이 엄청 안정감 있어 보이더라고요. 2절 시작 파트도 미나 혼자 정면 향하는 안무도 너무 좋고ㅠㅠㅠㅠ진짜 오열ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Their positions and transitions got cleaner when Mina was added. And idk if everyone notices but Mina actually shortened the gap between Momo's dance skills with the other members by in this way, they looked more synchronised.

Anoii. a way to find her is that she has blonde hair (comeback season) but her roots are dark and in the beginning of both when they make a formation kind like a circle ig she’s in the center with the blonde hair (it’s before chaeyoung starts singing or before any of the singing.) you can see her (on the lower video) at 00:23 exactly in the center :) i hope this helped

Like what others said, I love that they aren't covering one member when dancing as nine.
And the fact that our main dancer is at the center during the dance break sets everything in place. Though I'm a God Jihyo stan, Momo definitely belongs to the middle spot when dancing. She's so good. And she doesn't have a lot of lines so at least let the girl do what she's best at; being a dance machine!

mina had to halt her activities because she had major anxiety issues during the world tour days. she was very scared of going on stage. thankfully she’s back now and healthy!

To make it uhm aligned in our eyes I mean since Twice's choreography is made up of formations it would change a lot if one member is missing

Idk why in OT8 they decided to switch out Momo out for Jihyo for center there 🧐
save bandit! Because they need to change position symmetrically. In OT9 MOMO centre and 8 other members moving pair by pair, MOMO after all no need to move. In OT8 they need to move symmetrically with even number members, first middle 6 members move pair by pair, they all 8 members move. You can slow down the dance break part, and keep comparing, you will know what I said.
@@HayArday there was no real center in the OT8 dance break. In OT8, it was JeongMo then transitioned to NaHyo.

I had to watch many times over. First in normal speed and then changing over to a slower or faster speed. It really is SATISFYING seeing a full group practice!! Like everyone is saying the emptiness in the choreography altered to an 8 member dance compared to the OT9 not much differences other than the switching of places but at least no one has to dance behind the other. I commend their ability to memorise both choreos. Hard work has paid off. All the more to STAN TWICE right.
