hey i’m the guy at 3:21, so there’s 2 different models of the q50 side skirt, one has a lip on the edge that goes into the door panels and the other dosent. the ones that go into the door panel do need trimming but the others do not. they don’t fit perfect either way but definitely the best option for the v36

anybody who has them has never done them right. theirs always a gap between the rear quarter and where the side skirt actually meet, it’s a big eye sore in my opinion. alittle fibreglass goes along way
To me stock g35 and 37 bumpers look so ugly from factory, and when you try to spruce it up with a lip the only 1 or 2 decent options are expensive and still not the greatest looking. I’d rather chop shape and retrofit a new bumper from a different car with better lip options. I have a few ideas💡
I have a 1st gen sedan, and even if I find a cheap g37 bumper to cut and plastic weld to my g35, the lip for it is still $240, so all in I’d be at around $300 when I can just get a Nismo rep bumper for the same price without all the work.

Fitment is not the same. You need the trim Your info is all wrong
