- Jenna Lyons, ex-Creative Director of J.Crew, designer and commentator, opened her doors to ELLE UK, as part of our new video series My Style, My Space, for a guided tour of the spacious SoHo loft, so that we might all learn a thing or two from its arrangement.
From a mantlepiece laden with impressive works of art to a walk-in shoe wardrobe, Lyons' home is unsurprisingly one we dream of.

That marble bathroom is incredible!
I love how personal and affectionate she is towards the items she has in her home. It’s all intentional and treasured, to me that’s exactly what a home should be.

Sensational apartment. The styling is so self assured, confident & sophisticated. Even though Jenna Lyons has the money to spend big on her home (the bathroom & the art), her eclectic high-low, ridiculously good taste is an inspiration. Wonderful.
I just stopped the video where she is at her book shelves to look through the books she owns. This apartment is a pure reflection of a personality growth through out the years. The thing we own tells a story of us. The display shelve in my opinion is a great idea, helps to build up the ideas and inspiration.

I always wanted to put some of my favorite cards/items in a bathroom, just randomly all over the walls since the 90s. I will do it!! Love her style.
Be careful. The spray from toilets is microscopic but still there. Hence why they tell you keep your toothbrush far away from the toilet or in a cabinet. Odd place to put momentos you want to touch and keep

@@ocimak I think its definitely a deliberate and odd almost provocative artwork / statement to put all her family photos and photos of her son in the toilet.

I miss Jenna’s creative genius at J. Crew. The brand really suffered when she left.

J.Crew was on the decline well before Jenna left. They lost touch with their customer.

I am absolutely interested in the informality of everything and anything put together and having order which is appealing to the eyes.

Pretentious right?? The art was laughable. So are all the name dropping she and all others of her ilk do. "oh, this is a piece of shit by my favorite excrement curator, Mon de la CaCa isn't it fab??" Hardly stinks except on really hot days.

Cool Woman. The shoe room is amazing including the color and fabric of the couches and curtains there. The light that shines through and the way the window opens is also quite charming. I love this house and it’s very much like my home decor too. Eclectic.

I love that she decorated her toilet room because it's something that most people don't think about but it's actually really smart because when you're on the toilet usually bored so looking at all of those pictures and whatever decoration she has up in the toilet room will help keep her occupied I think that's really cool and honestly I've never thought of that

I doubt it’s smart as you state it to be. It’s not sending out good energy. I mean a toilet is not some sanctum whereas your personal collectibles and family pictures are! I think feng shui which actually is a very smart science would agree!

Her artwork explains quite a bit about her affliations Twombly,basquiet but the book she held up Djurdjevit-favorite of the podesta brothers. Check it out! Not a real tour maybe a comm.

Not sure if that's how she normally sounds, but to me her tone was sad like quarantine was really taking its toll in her. Especially when she said "we usually work downstairs but nobody's here." It's still very surreal that lockdown ever happened.
