Hi, Ben. Little tip when your line goes over the tip of the rod is to dip your rod in the water and quickly whip it up and hopefully that will solve the problem! Great video and nice seatbox! 👍🎣
Great video That Preston Rod rest with grips is so awkward to get your Rod out of, I eventually cut the height down by half and it works much better, still grips the rod but frees it when you pick up
Nice video mate we used to do this 15 year ago with the small cage feeders when we used to have a brew brake on local waters till a few of the fisheries with the bigger pools started to ban it because they said it damaged the fish and wouldn't listen to the regular pleasure anglers when they was told it's the match men and there 8 and 10lb line doing the damage with how they used to hit in to a fish and not stop winding till it was in the net and not play the fish out till it was ready to be netted
Very nice rod Ben it can be a godsend when fishing not to far out pleasure anglers more than matchmen will buy this personaly I might be interested I'll have to see what father Xmas brings me.

Nice way of fishing, normally on pole but would make a change. Might be worth trying the new Drennan feeders with this method

I can not decide if these rods are a gimmick i can cast short with my 10" rod & it would be more versatile.

Why only 4lb line at short range?
That's the recommended max for the rod I would only use that o venues with open water
