About music: the music used in this game are either (a) original songs by the talents (most music are of this kind), or (b) songs frequently covered by them that is almost becoming a staple, like Ochame Kinou, the little tune played when player found the dropped box. Here's a funny thing: because Holocure is out for quite a while, the music of first stage, Suspect (originally performed by Roboco (JP Gen 0), Aki Rosenthal (JP Gen 1), and Nakiri Ayame (JP Gen 2)) now conditioned some fans to think of Holocure even when the talents perform it in live shows. This song is in the middle of the nine group songs released in nine continuous weeks that later become part of the album Bouquet; because of that, at least in my eyes this song was a little bit dwarfed by other more notable songs in the nine songs streak, which is more funnier since now the image of this song is not what it originally was (which is a sweet love song) but grinding in Holocure.
When trying to find a specific item, finishing your skills so they stop clogging your choices help a ton, and so does using your eliminates on items you don't want to take. Alien Brainwashing showed up and wasn't selected a good dozen times, for instance, while you were hoping for items that didn't show up.
Yeah, the first two slots each have a roughly 1 in 3 chance to be a skill while you have skills available, and the same chance to be a weapon, but once you've claimed all the skills, they switch to roughly 2/3 weapon (with a 1/4 chance to be an item and a minimal chance to be a stat increase) - with more fail-through as you run out of weapon and/or item options. Slots 3 and 4 are equally likely to be weapons or items, failing through to their endgame contents (slot 3 can fail through to a skill if you have any still available). Weapon and item slots are equally likely to be new or existing (though generally the list of existing is going to be much shorter, so a specific weapon you already have is much more likely to show up than one you don't). So, yeah, your first priority should be grabbing something you know you want in your build, but don't yet have (so you're guaranteed to have it for later rather than risking it never coming up), then something you're actively trying to level up, then skills should be your default pick whenever you don't have a compelling reason to pick something else.
Yeah, sometimes I just eliminate what I know I'm not getting, then to save rerolls for later I'll just finish up an item that only has three stages instead of grabbing one that has five (unless I want glasses and half on Roboco on stage 2, etc)

I can't believe it took me this long to realize the song for the Holozon boxes is "Ochame Kinou" or "Mischievous Function". But I guess it somewhat explains why that I haven't actually listened to any version of the original song in almost a decade.
Back in 2020 Hololive released a cover of Ochame Kinou featuring their entire roster at the time. Today that video has 42 million views, one of the most-watched projects they've ever released. It's become something of a tradition for new groups to release their own version of the song, so now in addition to the original cover (from JP Gens 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 & Gamers) we have one from EN (combining EN gen 1 Myth, gen 2 Council & Project Hope) and ID (from ID gen 1 Area 15 & gen 2 Holoro), as well as separate covers from JP gen 5 and gen 6 HoloX.
Since I saw your first video on this, won't comment on the gameplay, but you did a nice job showing stuff off. As to what to call the different groupings you can choose from, there are a few interchangable terms. The first is Generation, which you see on the Japanese branches (Gen 0, Gen 1, Gen 2), the second is wave. The first few JP Gens don't have a group name, but later ones do. IRyS who is on the Council+Hope page was the only member of the Project Hope wave and often treated as a back-up Council Member. One of Council, Sana, had to retire (or graduate, a VTuber term that follows from JP Idol culture) for health reasons and IRyS often fills in the 5th slot in their group collabs, enough to the point that Hololive officially changed the Council & Project Hope group name to Promise, which might show up in the next version of HoloCure, but since Kay Yu doesn't charge for the game, he is free to develop the game at his own pace as when he contiues to bring in all the Hololive talent, he wants to keep the unique feel of every VTuber going.
They're called that because Hololive and its peers initially framed themselves as digital versions of Japanese idol agencies. (To an extent they still do, but I think YAGOO has given up on his AKB48 dreams.)

I think there might be one primary A-chan, but the name and design are used more generically too. 53:53: She's a blacksmith, she's a penguin (not really), and she's the most avid player of Hololive fan games in the entire agency (very really). 56:10: 0.5, the update which introduced the normal version of Stage 3, was supposed to release around Halloween. It ran into scope creep and other problems, and wound up releasing closer to Valentine's Day.
There is only one A-Chan and it refers specifically to A-Chan or "Friend-A." She's kinda Hololive's oldest staff member, originally just a friend of Sora's who helped her out early on, but now does much more as a sort of front-end representative for the company. Alongside Yagoo I guess.
Actually i would like to add to A-chan, A-chan is a close friend to sora and according to A-chan and Sora the design is actually pretty close to what she looks like real life. And she is a staff member in charge of interacting with the community and organization and hosting of events
i keep seeing this on every PlayFrame video, A-Chan is NOT a representation of the Management, she is a single individual that's also the Director/Senior Staff of HoloLive Japan, Sora's best friend & technically the founder of HoloLive
I too have recently started playing more holocure. Big thanks to the comments section on the last holocure stream btw! I mentioned i was having some performance issues, and while none of the solutions offered were the fix, while trying to implement them I discovered that the game wasn't using the dedicated GPU at all.🙃 Now it's only at very high enemy numbers (and the glowstick/fan beam collab) that cause any slowdown.
An easy starting point for Vtubers are that they're conceptually similar to The Muppets. Add video games, Japanese idol culture, and professional wrestling keyfabe; mix until smooth
Shout-out to Lua Lucky, an indie VTuber who made a muppet version of herself. Which went, um...well, it's hard to describe, but if you watch any stream or video the muppet showed up in you'll understand what's hard to describe.
1:38 - Slight correction. In the initially released version of Holocure (0.3), the only playable characters were the entire top row (HoloMyth and HoloCouncil) as well as the left-most character on the next row (IRyS), with the following 4 on that row (HoloGamers) being teased in the gacha pull menu. In 0.4, the roster expanded with the aforementioned HoloGamers 4, but also included the final 5 on the second row (Hololive JPs' Generation 0). Then in 0.5, we got the entire of the third row added (Hololive JP Gen 1 and JP Gen 2), with the ID branch (the bottom row) being teased via. the gacha menu.
The old "sprites" weren't designed for the needs of streaming. It would be relatively simple to rig a Live2D recreation of them, compared to (for instance) basically any model used by Hololive or other big VTubers; however, it was not rigged that way. Coincidentally, Live2D and Extra Credits both debuted in 2008, but for the purpose of Extra Credits, having a handful of PNGs to stick into Premiere or whatever was a simpler workflow.
I'd enjoy that too, but it would probably be uncomfortable for a lot of people (Dan included) due to all the ugliness that made him leave that channel. An avatar based off current channel artwork would be pretty great though :)
idk. the prior art / sound was a fun aesthetic but I really don't have any nostalgia for them. personally, I think I'd rather see something rigged up from the thumbnail art Dan Jones has done over the years.
fyi, if you didnt know theres a badluck protection of sorts with the character gacha, you get one "tear" every pull so you can also use those tears to buy characters and alternate costumes for each vtuber.
I find it generally just takes beating about 5 stages with them? And I've been dipping into the game off and on for about a year whenever I need a "shut brain off" game, so it steadily adds up :P
At a minimum, getting as much as possible from G Ranks and then winning on each of the hard mode stages, and excluding time when the timer is paused like level ups, it takes an hour per character. There are 38 characters now. So you're looking at 38 hours at the absolute fastest to max it for every character.

I heard that this game was just an anime-flavored Vampire Survivors clone, but now that I've seen it I have to disagree with that description. What makes Vampire Survivors unique is how simple it is. You control your movement and select which random items get equipped. The item combinations feel a bit overwhelming at first, but it still ends up being fairly simple after some practice. This game gives you a lot more control and has a lot more item combinations which make it complex enough to feel like its own distinct thing. It certainly has some inspiration from Vampire Survivors, but it's definitely not a clone.
It’ll definitely get even crazier in the next update 0.7 sometime in 2024. The dev showed a screenshot of what looked to be a dungeon crawling mode. Like roguelike dungeons with a map and keys for doors. We haven’t seen many details yet, but the dev is adding things from games he enjoys into the game when he wants/can. Also characters will keep being added for a while since he said he wanted to do all the members before gen 3 EN came out. He might still do newer members if he feels like it, but that’s already like 30 more characters which would probably introduce a bunch of new weapons and items and maybe maps. This game will continue to differentiate itself from Vampire Survivor the more it develops
There are certain collabs that fire in front, which most main weapons also do. I use (and temporarily remove) the reverse stamp as needed for coverage behind, which Dragon Fire in particular doesn't cover, and Bone Bros is still more powerful front-facing. The more omni-directional weapons I use, the less useful it is, and if the main weapon is omindirectional, then the stamp's just useful for a free upgrade.
I've played a bunch of "survivor likes" because I feel like exploring a burgeoning genre is interesting. and honestly this may be the best one at the moment.
X-Potato is a reference to a boss named Exposito from Blasphemous, of all things. Korone pronounced his name wrong, her overseas fans thought it was cute, she started saying "Hey guys, Ex Potato!" when she wanted to get the attention of English-speaking fans. The mid-boss of stage 2 is "Mikodanye", which is just Sakura Miko as a theme-park-style mascot. It was the first IRL mascot costume Cover made, possibly inspired by the mascots at Hatsune Miko's IRL concerts.
@@edenromanov Mascot Gudako and Mikodanye are based on Mikudayo. It was originally supposed to be Vocaloid (at the time) Miku Hatsune's Nendoroid model, a Japanese chibi action figure brand. But the problem is it was designed terribly. A sunken neck, fat cheeks, eyes are angled in a way it's always looking past you, not at you, and more. But it was funny and horrifying enough to start a wave of ironically bad suits.
A cool thing that I think of from the Polyglot skill in Sucker for love (a game) L’neta say’s about how most Eldritch gods are Polyglots and I don’t know if it’s a real thing but it must be if the word is in another game but have a nice day yall
For anyone who is vaguely interested in Hololive (or vtubers in general), but doesn't want to fully commit to some kind of deep dive or anything; I recommend watching Korone's English only Mario streams (there are 2 of them, the full streams are less than 3 hours combined, with the first being only about 40 mins) in which she plays the original Super Mario Bros while only speaking English (in which she is pretty good, but definitely not fluent); it's mind-meltingly adorable all the way through, is the origin of many memes, requires no previous context for the character or hololive/vtubing in general, and since it's all in English (or attempted English) it's pretty accessible for English-speakers to follow along. In fact, even if you have no real interest in vtubers, I still recommend watching those streams (or at least some of the longer highlight reels), as they are just super entertaining regardless.
another good series to recommend is Kiara's HoloTalk in which she interviews & showcases some of the Japanese Hololive members & on that same vein, Koefficient's Down the Rabbit Hole does that for indies & minor agencies, and you still get some of those IRL peoples

I skipped Vampire Survivors because I was too busy at the time, but this game played on my love of Lore and progression systems. I put it down until the steam release, and I was so excited for it I nearly jumped out of my chair. I missed your stream the other day, so I'm beyond excited that you're doing a whole video on it.
17:35 It's useful if your main weapon is rather narrow, and you picked up other directional weapons, so your main can cover your back while your other weapon can clear the front. Something like Dragon fire/Stream of Tears.

Also, for those who don't have a controller to connect (yes, the 4 of you), you can also use the mouse to define the direction of the attacks. It's just clicking with the mouse (which is finnicky, yes, because you alternate that way and would be preferred as a settings option)
I love watching Dan play and talk about this game, but I cannot overstate how much it kills me that he never seems to talk about or use weapon enchants. 🤣
In theory the shoot backwards stamp could be useful in some weird circumstances... like if you are Baelz or Amelia who only shoot forward, and your only weapons are like Dragonbreath and Wamy Water that also shoot forward, the backwards stamp could let you cover more ground with your attacks... But still I'd probably take something damage boosting 99% of the time ^^
Also the Final boss of of stage 2 is also the character thats on the shop screen. That is A-chan or Friend A. She is actually the high school friend of Sora (IRL) that asked if she would help her become an idol. And she did! A-chan isnt a manager but actually an events director she also has her own vtuber model and frequently hosts collaborations and events and has recently started streaming on her own on Hololive's main channel.

I would like to say that if the visuals are getting too much, there is a setting now to lower the opacity of weapon attacks. You can still see the attacks for calculating where things are, but it is easier to see enemies. Hope that helps!
It's kinda funny watching the genre-wars happen for this game as most people don't really know what to call it since it's kinda a really new thing. Dan's calling it Bullet Hell but most others call it Bullet Heaven since you're the main one with the absolute insane amount of projectiles coming out of you. Meanwhile I just call it a "Survivor" or "Survivor-like" since all the mobile games that jumped on the Vampire Survivors hype, riffed off the "Survivor" part of it's name.
"Survivor" is such a nothing name for a Genre, not to mention that is also the name of a Reality show that also became a Sub-genre of "Survivor-likes" Bullet Heaven is the correct name

The best thing about snowflower sake to snow queen (other than it's just ultimately better) is that it's easier on the graphics and bit rate, making everything easier to see. It's a much simpler attack, graphics-wise, but constant.
Fun fact: The Reverse stamp doesnt work on the character of Irys. The stamp represents Beazl aka "Bea" the embodiment of chaos itself. It not working a nod to their on again off again marriage (they're arent really married but they act and argue like an old married couple when they colab).

The creator even got approached by Hololive for an official deal with and turned them down. When trying to find a specific item, finishing your skills so they stop clogging your choices help a ton, and so does using your eliminates on items you don't want to take. Alien Brainwashing showed up and wasn't selected a good dozen times, for instance, while you were hoping for items that didn't show up.
Yeah, the first two slots each have a roughly 1 in 3 chance to be a skill while you have skills available, and the same chance to be a weapon, but once you've claimed all the skills, they switch to roughly 2/3 weapon (with a 1/4 chance to be an item and a minimal chance to be a stat increase) - with more fail-through as you run out of weapon and/or item options.
Slots 3 and 4 are equally likely to be weapons or items, failing through to their endgame contents (slot 3 can fail through to a skill if you have any still available).
Weapon and item slots are equally likely to be new or existing (though generally the list of existing is going to be much shorter, so a specific weapon you already have is much more likely to show up than one you don't).
So, yeah, your first priority should be grabbing something you know you want in your build, but don't yet have (so you're guaranteed to have it for later rather than risking it never coming up), then something you're actively trying to level up, then skills should be your default pick whenever you don't have a compelling reason to pick something else.
Yeah, sometimes I just eliminate what I know I'm not getting, then to save rerolls for later I'll just finish up an item that only has three stages instead of grabbing one that has five (unless I want glasses and half on Roboco on stage 2, etc)

I can't believe it took me this long to realize the song for the Holozon boxes is "Ochame Kinou" or "Mischievous Function". But I guess it somewhat explains why that I haven't actually listened to any version of the original song in almost a decade.
Back in 2020 Hololive released a cover of Ochame Kinou featuring their entire roster at the time. Today that video has 42 million views, one of the most-watched projects they've ever released. It's become something of a tradition for new groups to release their own version of the song, so now in addition to the original cover (from JP Gens 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 & Gamers) we have one from EN (combining EN gen 1 Myth, gen 2 Council & Project Hope) and ID (from ID gen 1 Area 15 & gen 2 Holoro), as well as separate covers from JP gen 5 and gen 6 HoloX.
Kay Yu has played (read: been traumatized by) a lot of FF14 and has chosen to inflict violence upon his players via an abundance of danger puddles.
Since I saw your first video on this, won't comment on the gameplay, but you did a nice job showing stuff off. As to what to call the different groupings you can choose from, there are a few interchangable terms. The first is Generation, which you see on the Japanese branches (Gen 0, Gen 1, Gen 2), the second is wave. The first few JP Gens don't have a group name, but later ones do. IRyS who is on the Council+Hope page was the only member of the Project Hope wave and often treated as a back-up Council Member. One of Council, Sana, had to retire (or graduate, a VTuber term that follows from JP Idol culture) for health reasons and IRyS often fills in the 5th slot in their group collabs, enough to the point that Hololive officially changed the Council & Project Hope group name to Promise, which might show up in the next version of HoloCure, but since Kay Yu doesn't charge for the game, he is free to develop the game at his own pace as when he contiues to bring in all the Hololive talent, he wants to keep the unique feel of every VTuber going.
I always see you struggle with what to call Hololive. It’s a Vtuber Agency; that’s what you can call them and other companies like them.
They're called that because Hololive and its peers initially framed themselves as digital versions of Japanese idol agencies. (To an extent they still do, but I think YAGOO has given up on his AKB48 dreams.)

There is only one A-Chan and it refers specifically to A-Chan or "Friend-A." She's kinda Hololive's oldest staff member, originally just a friend of Sora's who helped her out early on, but now does much more as a sort of front-end representative for the company. Alongside Yagoo I guess.
Actually i would like to add to A-chan, A-chan is a close friend to sora and according to A-chan and Sora the design is actually pretty close to what she looks like real life. And she is a staff member in charge of interacting with the community and organization and hosting of events
i keep seeing this on every PlayFrame video, A-Chan is NOT a representation of the Management, she is a single individual that's also the Director/Senior Staff of HoloLive Japan, Sora's best friend & technically the founder of HoloLive

An easy starting point for Vtubers are that they're conceptually similar to The Muppets. Add video games, Japanese idol culture, and professional wrestling keyfabe; mix until smooth
Shout-out to Lua Lucky, an indie VTuber who made a muppet version of herself. Which went, um...well, it's hard to describe, but if you watch any stream or video the muppet showed up in you'll understand what's hard to describe.

In the initially released version of Holocure (0.3), the only playable characters were the entire top row (HoloMyth and HoloCouncil) as well as the left-most character on the next row (IRyS), with the following 4 on that row (HoloGamers) being teased in the gacha pull menu.
In 0.4, the roster expanded with the aforementioned HoloGamers 4, but also included the final 5 on the second row (Hololive JPs' Generation 0).
Then in 0.5, we got the entire of the third row added (Hololive JP Gen 1 and JP Gen 2), with the ID branch (the bottom row) being teased via. the gacha menu.
Man I love Hololive and Holocure, and I'm definitely down to try and explain some of the stuff if people are interested in the **DEEPLORE**

The old "sprites" weren't designed for the needs of streaming. It would be relatively simple to rig a Live2D recreation of them, compared to (for instance) basically any model used by Hololive or other big VTubers; however, it was not rigged that way. Coincidentally, Live2D and Extra Credits both debuted in 2008, but for the purpose of Extra Credits, having a handful of PNGs to stick into Premiere or whatever was a simpler workflow.
I'd enjoy that too, but it would probably be uncomfortable for a lot of people (Dan included) due to all the ugliness that made him leave that channel.
An avatar based off current channel artwork would be pretty great though :)
idk. the prior art / sound was a fun aesthetic but I really don't have any nostalgia for them. personally, I think I'd rather see something rigged up from the thumbnail art Dan Jones has done over the years.
fyi, if you didnt know theres a badluck protection of sorts with the character gacha, you get one "tear" every pull so you can also use those tears to buy characters and alternate costumes for each vtuber.

I find it generally just takes beating about 5 stages with them? And I've been dipping into the game off and on for about a year whenever I need a "shut brain off" game, so it steadily adds up :P
At a minimum, getting as much as possible from G Ranks and then winning on each of the hard mode stages, and excluding time when the timer is paused like level ups, it takes an hour per character.
There are 38 characters now. So you're looking at 38 hours at the absolute fastest to max it for every character.

I heard that this game was just an anime-flavored Vampire Survivors clone, but now that I've seen it I have to disagree with that description.
What makes Vampire Survivors unique is how simple it is. You control your movement and select which random items get equipped. The item combinations feel a bit overwhelming at first, but it still ends up being fairly simple after some practice.
This game gives you a lot more control and has a lot more item combinations which make it complex enough to feel like its own distinct thing. It certainly has some inspiration from Vampire Survivors, but it's definitely not a clone.
It’ll definitely get even crazier in the next update 0.7 sometime in 2024. The dev showed a screenshot of what looked to be a dungeon crawling mode. Like roguelike dungeons with a map and keys for doors. We haven’t seen many details yet, but the dev is adding things from games he enjoys into the game when he wants/can. Also characters will keep being added for a while since he said he wanted to do all the members before gen 3 EN came out. He might still do newer members if he feels like it, but that’s already like 30 more characters which would probably introduce a bunch of new weapons and items and maybe maps. This game will continue to differentiate itself from Vampire Survivor the more it develops

There are certain collabs that fire in front, which most main weapons also do. I use (and temporarily remove) the reverse stamp as needed for coverage behind, which Dragon Fire in particular doesn't cover, and Bone Bros is still more powerful front-facing. The more omni-directional weapons I use, the less useful it is, and if the main weapon is omindirectional, then the stamp's just useful for a free upgrade.
I've played a bunch of "survivor likes" because I feel like exploring a burgeoning genre is interesting. and honestly this may be the best one at the moment.

X-Potato is a reference to a boss named Exposito from Blasphemous, of all things. Korone pronounced his name wrong, her overseas fans thought it was cute, she started saying "Hey guys, Ex Potato!" when she wanted to get the attention of English-speaking fans.
The mid-boss of stage 2 is "Mikodanye", which is just Sakura Miko as a theme-park-style mascot. It was the first IRL mascot costume Cover made, possibly inspired by the mascots at Hatsune Miko's IRL concerts.
Considering her menacing attitude I'd say Mikodanye is inspired by Gudako from Fate/GO /, her mascot costume has a similar look and attitude lmao
@@edenromanov Mascot Gudako and Mikodanye are based on Mikudayo. It was originally supposed to be Vocaloid (at the time) Miku Hatsune's Nendoroid model, a Japanese chibi action figure brand.
But the problem is it was designed terribly. A sunken neck, fat cheeks, eyes are angled in a way it's always looking past you, not at you, and more. But it was funny and horrifying enough to start a wave of ironically bad suits.
Watching you play this on the streaming VODs is so much fun! I'm glad to see it pop up here again, what with all the new content and all.

For anyone who is vaguely interested in Hololive (or vtubers in general), but doesn't want to fully commit to some kind of deep dive or anything; I recommend watching Korone's English only Mario streams (there are 2 of them, the full streams are less than 3 hours combined, with the first being only about 40 mins) in which she plays the original Super Mario Bros while only speaking English (in which she is pretty good, but definitely not fluent); it's mind-meltingly adorable all the way through, is the origin of many memes, requires no previous context for the character or hololive/vtubing in general, and since it's all in English (or attempted English) it's pretty accessible for English-speakers to follow along.
In fact, even if you have no real interest in vtubers, I still recommend watching those streams (or at least some of the longer highlight reels), as they are just super entertaining regardless.
Took your advice and watched those streams, so now I'm back to thank you for the recommendation. She's definitely adorable.

It's useful if your main weapon is rather narrow, and you picked up other directional weapons, so your main can cover your back while your other weapon can clear the front.

Also, for those who don't have a controller to connect (yes, the 4 of you), you can also use the mouse to define the direction of the attacks. It's just clicking with the mouse (which is finnicky, yes, because you alternate that way and would be preferred as a settings option)
I love watching Dan play and talk about this game, but I cannot overstate how much it kills me that he never seems to talk about or use weapon enchants. 🤣

In theory the shoot backwards stamp could be useful in some weird circumstances... like if you are Baelz or Amelia who only shoot forward, and your only weapons are like Dragonbreath and Wamy Water that also shoot forward, the backwards stamp could let you cover more ground with your attacks...
But still I'd probably take something damage boosting 99% of the time ^^
Also the Final boss of of stage 2 is also the character thats on the shop screen. That is A-chan or Friend A. She is actually the high school friend of Sora (IRL) that asked if she would help her become an idol. And she did! A-chan isnt a manager but actually an events director she also has her own vtuber model and frequently hosts collaborations and events and has recently started streaming on her own on Hololive's main channel.
Its addictive i can tell you that lmao. I also hope the rest of the gens are added.

I would like to say that if the visuals are getting too much, there is a setting now to lower the opacity of weapon attacks. You can still see the attacks for calculating where things are, but it is easier to see enemies. Hope that helps!
It's kinda funny watching the genre-wars happen for this game as most people don't really know what to call it since it's kinda a really new thing.
Dan's calling it Bullet Hell but most others call it Bullet Heaven since you're the main one with the absolute insane amount of projectiles coming out of you.
Meanwhile I just call it a "Survivor" or "Survivor-like" since all the mobile games that jumped on the Vampire Survivors hype, riffed off the "Survivor" part of it's name.
"Survivor" is such a nothing name for a Genre, not to mention that is also the name of a Reality show that also became a Sub-genre of "Survivor-likes"

The new (main) stage is always pretty challenging for each update, but this one is even harder than usual. Don't give up!
Try cook some tempura in Holo House. It buffs your attack by 30% and greatly helps destroying tankier enemies in S4 or S3H.

Hololive Indonesia has a lot of great talents, and their characters in HoloCure are all really fun to play.
Fun fact: The Reverse stamp doesnt work on the character of Irys. The stamp represents Beazl aka "Bea" the embodiment of chaos itself. It not working a nod to their on again off again marriage (they're arent really married but they act and argue like an old married couple when they colab).
The cooked dishes aren't for your minions. They are for you. They grant massive in-game bonuses to stats etc.
