The fact that Eramis trust the Guardian to uphold Crow's promise is actually a cool way to describe what our roles had been since the Witness was defeated. We are sort of the the enforcer that assures promises towards building a gentle world will be upheld, regardless of who it is. That we're the ones who will always make the right choice for the sake of life.
How about going down to the basement to listen to Eido when she's standing in front of you. Then go backup stairs to listen to Aramis when she's in the other room talking trash to you...🙄
I'm pretty sure the reason for that is because there is meant to be a quest step in between these two but because Bungie listens to us they took away all the filler

This is way better than echoes. Story makes sense, and the gameplay seems cool and feels connected to the story. Looking at this makes me think the bounty system should be removed completely and replaced with the challenges that are in the director. Split them into sections like triumphs are so rewards are progressive.
Eramis didn't expect any good from humans, but she did not hesitate to go with them when lives of her people were in question. She hates guardians and is definetely afraid of them, she probably expected some especially twisted to*ture or maybe experimenting, but she took it without second thought...
No, there's still more, story and new activities are coming in further acts like they did in echoes. Really it's the same amount of content we've been getting, just without all the filler stuff. To be clear, I wish there was more this act, because this did feel very short. I like what's here a lot, but it still didn't feel like much.
Pros: simple, straightforward story which was able to be explained in a 15 second video at the start; New public space is lovely and quite large and detailed. Cons: No new maps or environment to play in so far, unlike Echos which had tons of new location within Nessus. So far Revenant has reused crucible, gambit and Europa maps. Overall am really enjoying it though. Still trying to work out how to unlock more tonics.

I got confused after I finished the first act (didn’t see the pop up that it was complete) and the game kicked last season’s quest into my tab so I thought had to do Echoes to continue with Revenant. I’m really glad that’s not the case cause I wasn’t interested in that act and I just bought the DLC on sale so I didn’t want to have to go back 🥲 Almost deleted my artifact to get the echoes one ugh 🙃
@@AdenTheWolf Misraaks is inspiring to me because he's one of the only Eliksni who has openly sided with the Vanguard. It feels like the Vanguard have been at war with the Fallen for so long and to see Misraaks bring House Light to the Last City feels incredible. It really hurts man.

@@WenMonceah okay gotcha. To be fair that is a sort of flashback, get people up to speed on what’s going on etc. these season intro ones are usually like that. Would I prefer new ones, yes absolutely, but it’s not like it’s anything out of the ordinary for the intros to have reused stuff. The new stuff that is here is great, just wish there was more of it.
As a fan for 10 years now, I have to say that this sucks. Destiny has never had the strongest story telling for seasons, but this is by far the worst ive seen it. I'm lumping in episode 1 and 2 here. Seasons were never great but episodes got hyped up only to deliver even worse story telling. I'm shocked at how terrible this is. This game is dead to me.

They should have left the old system in place. The story feels super rushed without the time the wait granted. One momenet i am starting and the next the characters make it sould like this has been going on for a while.
To be fair, they likely already had the story planned out before they made the decision to release all of the story for an act in the first week, so the story was likely written with the assumption that there was a week between each part of the story.
But this surely can’t be the ENTIRE story for the first Act (which is supposed to be 41 days long), even Episode Echoes had a longer storyline for the first act. I’m guessing more will be revealed after the dungeon clear on Friday?

You unlock field work by making new tonics. You get more tonics by crafting more. 5 green tonics unlocks its blue version, 4 blues its purple

@@WenMonceah okay gotcha. To be fair that is a sort of flashback, get people up to speed on what’s going on etc. these season intro ones are usually like that. Would I prefer new ones, yes absolutely, but it’s not like it’s anything out of the ordinary for the intros to have reused stuff.
The new stuff that is here is great, just wish there was more of it.

As a fan for 10 years now, I have to say that this sucks. Destiny has never had the strongest story telling for seasons, but this is by far the worst ive seen it. I'm lumping in episode 1 and 2 here. Seasons were never great but episodes got hyped up only to deliver even worse story telling. I'm shocked at how terrible this is. This game is dead to me.
Act is only 45 minutes long in total... yikes

Not terrible but definitely not under fikrul since that makes no sense. If they wanna give caretaker an actual mind of his own and a spot in the ascendant plane to develop that plot further then sure but what we have this season at least makes sense
They should have left the old system in place. The story feels super rushed without the time the wait granted. One momenet i am starting and the next the characters make it sould like this has been going on for a while.
To be fair, they likely already had the story planned out before they made the decision to release all of the story for an act in the first week, so the story was likely written with the assumption that there was a week between each part of the story.

But this surely can’t be the ENTIRE story for the first Act (which is supposed to be 41 days long), even Episode Echoes had a longer storyline for the first act.

im honestly loving the pace of the story now, its alot better than echoes just being abke to fastrack it. not to mention how kinda lame the first act wouldve been if i had to wait a week for it
