Repentance is 10% prayer 100% change i feel convicted when i sin b4 i didnt care but if i bk slide its like a heavey weight on me
It helps to remember God is love, He loves you and does not want you to sin. The next time you are tempted, think of sinning against Him and His love.
If God loves me so much then why can't I believe he exists even though I pray about this every day? I could die in a car accident and be sent to Hell even though I'm living by the rules in the Bible.
The Bible specifically addresses that, it says," For without faith it is impossible to please God,for those that would seek Him, must believe that He exists, and that He rewards those that diligently seek Him." Heb.11:6/ Also in Romans 10- "For with the heart man believes unto righteousness." You have a crises of belief, so you weigh the evidence,(and God knows your heart) and have to decide, will you follow Him because you believe, and want to be with Him, or you follow because you are trying to earn something, and don't really believe. Free will! By Grace through FAITH!❤
@@Jake-mv7yo You already believe in God which is why you pray and have the idea you will go to hell. So I don't understand your question.
@@tombrooks7322 I just want to be able to drive my car and not worry about getting killed and going to Hell. I don't want God's help with anything else. I do thank God for all of my blessings when I ask for him to allow me to believe. I just think it is ridiculous that God would bless me with the ability to avoid temptation but then make it so hard for me to actually believe He exists.
@@Jake-mv7yo Two things that the Word of God does, " Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by The Word" and Hebrews 4:12, "....its a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart" we can see our own intents by studying it, we can understand ourselves, and see our motives, through God's Word. So you want to know you won't go to hell, but you don't want a close relationship to Him.
He wants a relationship with us, thats why He demonstrated His love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. I am enamored by God's Love for me, it gets me up every day! His word is a Love letter that is alive and Powerful! It says God wants a relationship with us and He redeemed terrible sinners so we can have that. It sounds a little like you want to have control over your own life, but you want to know you have fire insurance from hell? You can't be The Ruler of your life, and God be on the Throne as your Sovereign or King! You've got to surrender and let Jesus be the Lord of your life!! Then you will start to feel Him and see His power in Your life!! As Paul said,...It is not me who lives, but Christ who lives through me.
I do like pastor Mike and i have listened allot of his sermons ; and i understand in the family settings its great advice; one thing i dont hear is a sermon for broken people that went through a divorce and now its to late or a relationship that end it ; yes ofcourse our fault and our sin took us there , but i want to here from him a sermon about real broken people who dont have a chance of reconciliation

What is sin? If you take a prescription for pain are you a sinner? Jesus turned water into wine, are the wedding party sinners? Please put together sermons on what is SIN!!
Psalms 104:14-15 (KJV) He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

You go to a priest with apostolic succession and make a sincere confession as Jesus says in John 20:23. Your sins will be forgiven.
