Like your review. I ordered the I phone 12 pro in pacific Blue . I dont want to cover up the phone . But i will get the case of course in Blue. I have the i phone XR in blue still a great phone and i just updated the XR to IOS 14. A little more zippier.
The reason why i ordered this phone is i wasn’t due to upgrade until march but my Phone Carrier gave me a great deal like so good . $0 Dollars down but 60/ a month CDN🇨🇦 Plus i had a 150.00 credit as well . Ive been with This company for a long time so i couldn’t say no .
The only thing i dont like is i had to buy a brick for 25CDN and then the case is 65 CDN .. and of course the magsafe charger .... it is what it is . Looking at the phone how gorgeous the 12 pro looks and the three Lenses.. the speed
Looking forward to using it . Wont get the phone until next week Ill be giving my XR to my sister.

I’m sure you still have a working standard lightning cable just use that and when it inevitably breaks just buy a brick they’re about the same price. See it’s easy, if you don’t need one now just don’t get one and use the charger you have

You're assuming everyone is going to buy the wall adapters. I have my adapters from other products that use USB-C.
@@irod97 I didnt say everyone. It is very likely for a person who is just converting the apple with all these new changes to the iPhone 12. The ratio of putting a wall plug into every box and the ratio of making a whole separate charger, is pretty close. After all, they are going to make a LOT of bricks since they have to have a stock of products

If they wanted to "protect the environment" they would switch to a USB c, which is an industry standard.
The charger and headphone removal was to avoid the possible forced standard for USB-C in the EU...for now. Forcing USB-C as the standard for smartphones was being mulled around as a way for tech companies to be environmentally friendly, so Apple offered this as a “better” solution so that they wouldn’t have to redesign the iPhone...yet...but it’s coming...eventually.
@@CT_92 yeah, the removal of lighting cable and adoption of USB c would make Iphone in line with other phone. Its just greed by Apple.

We all know what they meant when they said "helping the environment" (their bank accounts)
So they wanna be more environment friendly by not including the power brick with the iPhone so they can make the box thinner (btw i "love" the way Jud is so amazed by the size of the box)... Everyone has several power bricks at Home BUT WAIT! They included a USB C cable, not compatible with most of the standard power brick, But they got You covered, they sell You the new power brick in a new box... With plastic wrap... To save the environment?????...
The fact that Apple sent reviewers a charging brick, the people most likely to have tens of them laying around, but not to the consumers, who they say will have a usb c brick, says a lot. Ultimately they’ve sent it along with the rest of the products they want reviewers to “market” to their audiences...

Magsafe has a cable that you can't replace if broken so you'd have to toss the whole thing in the bin if the cable snaps or doesn't work...so kinda counterintuitive....

the 15w watt charging is only for MagSafe enabled devices

no really, by having the box be smaller, they’re able to ship more of them in one truck than they could before, they’re not using as many resources and they’re easier to make in the factories which is reducing their carbon footprint.
@@GalactiKez Making things enviroment friendly is also making them more cheap to produce. Im sure it has reduced their carbon footprint but i dont think saving the enviroment is their motive. We are talking about global companies here.

Bro i think it is weak magnet for wallet to stick i wont be using for my wallet.
It really feels weak maybe third party accessories will work better.
I think the magnets are strong enough but the smoothness of the glass back on the iPhone when compared with the silicone case makes it so that the wallet just slides way more easily off of the glass than the case as you see in this video
When they did it in the pocket one used a MagSafe case and wallet so it adds extra strength and one using the wallet with phone

Of course they're doing it to maximize their profits. 98% of those 2 Billion power bricks are USB-A, so you either use your old charger (which would then create waste due to the useless lighting to USB-C cable they shipped) or you need to buy a new charging brick from Apple (which requires more packaging , spacers, presentation papers, etc. And I would but some random store charger since you will lose warranty of the U2 TC chip is damaged

Less accessories means less e waste which is definitely a good thing, as I know I have like five EarPods that are just never gonna be used because I have AirPods and about 30 of the plug adaptors just hanging around.But i do think including a usbc to lightning is a dick move that was entirely made with money on the mind.
@@vincemadarang1446 But delivering the phone with a usb to lightning cable would have been annoying aswell because you can‘t use fast charging then. I atleast have a lot of usbc chargers at home because of my ipad, macbook etc. And excluding the earpods was the right decision in my opinion. I already have 4 pairs of apple earphones at home and i only use my AirPods Pro’s. I would prefer the 128 GB over the headphones and the charger anytime

Maybe take off like, $50. There's no way the missing accessories cost 100-150$.
if they would've left it in, they would've had to raise the price anyways for 5G then people would be complaining about that. At least with the whole charger thing there are way less cheaper options for power bricks like Anker and other third parties.
