the instructions in the box clearly state to hand tighten the bolts on the bowl flange. no tools should be used. It's also a lot harder to install the toilet when you put the tank on beforehand. Much easier to do it after. The AS instructions also state to put the gasket on the bowl first - not on the floor as you have done here..
I think you left out some steps. Maybe checking to see if it is level? Rocking the toilet after you put the wax ring on to make sure it seals? It would be a good video if you showed all of this.
I picked up a Champion 4 at Lowe's couple of days ago and it is the worst mold job I have ever seen. The trapway was supposed to be glazed and not only was it not glazed, but it had large protrusions on the wall of the trapway. The entire rim was not glazed and felt like sandpaper, etc, etc. This unit came out of Mexico. What now?

I agree with everything you mentioned but I’ve always put the seal on the closet flange first then seat the toilet. Always have 🤷🏻♂️
Not a fan of the tighten down bolts I would use metal ones instead

That’s how you install the seat??? With my cousins I put those under the toilet BAHAHA maybe next time I go there I’ll fix it for them 😂
