Yep, and I disliked her in the dragonball series when Goku was a kid, so when they decided to bring her , pilaf and shu back in the series I didn't like it , I actually want them to not appear again in the series, I don't want them to appear again. but at the same time it was okay for them to appear again. The only thing I didn't like is trunks falling in love and simping with her (mai), I was really bothered by it , out of all people why her? Why do trunks have to fall in love with an old lady/granny/ Senior citizen who was once a killer? Someone older than his mother? Yeah sure age doesn't matter, and Mai physically doesn't look old despite her real age and looks the same age as trunks because of the Dragonballs, Mai also quite changed into a good person too just like other villains who changed into a good person and deeply regret their sins but I don't like Mai. But surely I think she will be the one who will end up with trunks since it's already obvious in the dbs manga and also the future trunks arc.

Just bringing up a side story in Super, Whis brought Trunks and Mai to an alternate timeline where the events of Goku Black still happened but instead of Bulma being dead it was Trunks and Mai. The only significant DIFFERENCE that occurs is that the Zamasu native to this timeline is more patient and wise to the teachings of his Universe's Supreme Kai. He still doesn’t like mortals but understands that mortals are part of the natural cycle and that Zeno made them this way so the universes would ultimately find peace (unlike the Original Goku Black and the Zamasu that show up in the primary arc (and the one that’s still the villian cause he showed up from another timeline) this Zamasu actually got to meet Zeno (he was asked to testify as a character witness for a Kai that he personally knew that got in enough trouble to get Zeno's attention (by actively helping mortals, Kai’s can only go as far as helping mortals help themselves or having powerful mortals assist them to defeat threats that the local destruction god isn’t aware of or is far to busy to help with)) and got the lowdown on how Zeno's plan actually worked. So the local Zamasu eventually shows up while Trunks is fighting Black and disses Goku Black for being an interloper, GB while excited that he could enact the rest of his plan is furious that his got dissed by himself and attacks Zamasu. Goku Black goes Rosé with Kaioken-ken x20 added on, and Zamasu and Trunks fuse with the Potara. Zamasu/Trunks ultimately defeat Goku Black with a Godly Burning Attack and Whis pops in (the Whis that we know, cause the Whis that lives in this timeline is gone due to Beerus being dead cause Shin-Kai is dead) and defuses them both (cause if mortals use Potara it’s only 1hr, but it's a Kai/Kai or Kai/Mortal its permanent.) Local Zamasu uses this a learning experience that not all mortals are bad and can be used for the greater good or for greater purposes by the Gods and leaves. Earth rebuilds into a utopia and Trunks and Mai have a kid together (then we see the Supreme Kai of time in the last page waving her arms angrily (symbolising that Xenoverse will occur in this timeline)).

I feel like it's a little different. Mai is biologically the same age, so she develops the same. The only thing that would set them apart is her memory of the past, but it's probably hazy considering her brain had to reform as well. It is definitely strange, but in terms of consent age, the purpose is to protect undeveloped kids from life-altering situations. I think she's fine for now.

You *do* know that trunks from DBS isnt 17 anymore, right? When FT first shows up he's 17. Then the 3 years go by where the Z fighters train to fight the androids. Now idk if Trunks also waited 3 years in his time (I doubt it) But we'll js say he waited a couple months, so he goes back still 17, then he trains in the HBTC with Vegeta for the fight against Cell, which he trains for 1 year. Now hes 18. After the cell Saga he doesnt return until Super, which the Buu saga was a 7 year TS, the end of Z between super is about 4 or 5 years (We'll just say 4) And from the begining of Super all the way up to Goku black, 1 year had passed (I think). So that would make Trunks 30 years old, potentially 33 or 31. So he's not a kid anymore.
