It would be wonderful if the process of linking to my Android phone (Pixel 5a) was as simple and reliable as your video suggests. The hearing preofessional who supplied the Genesis Ai mRic couldn't make it happen on June 1 (which is when I receved them), so I fiddled with my phone and was able to pair them eventually, but I don't know what I did that made it work. When I awoke today, I put the hearing aids in my ears and although they were on, the MyStarkey app didnn't recognize them as on. After wasting a lot of time putting the phone and the app in seach mode unsuccessfully, I deleted the hearing aids from my phone's list of connected devices, and started from scratch. This eventiually led to the left hearing aid pairing, but not the right one. Although the right hearing aid eventually paired, it should not have been a two step process, which again was puzzlingly opaque. I hope this information prompts Starkey to do whatever it must to make the pairing process as slick as the hearing aids.
Thanks for your feedback. If you haven't already done so, please send in your activity logs related to this to our support team. You can do this from within the My Starkey app by going to Help Center then tapping Customer Support. Thank you again!
@@starkeyhearingaids That's no help. I don't know how to use QR codes. I've spent quite a lot of time trying to pair my remote mic+ to my PC, but have not been successful. Obviously, I'm not very tech savvy like a lot my fellow Vietnam veterans...
