I got to tell you, if Honda realizes how much the American market loves Type R's and decides to make a short run of Accord Type Rs like Europe had at one time, I will line right up for one!
First congratulations on your new car! I am also highly interested in Type-R, hope I can learn more about this car on your channel, please keep on! THX!
After driving an Evo , sti , golf r an rs I was waiting on the type r before buying anything an although I'm a huge Honda fan I owned several hondas over the years I came to a Honda dealer with a black one but they were asking 49,000 which I thought was insane an wouldn't come down an it was then between golf r an rs an I got better deal with an rs I am completely blown away an well impressed it's on another level I can't even push it to its full limit an only thing done is ets intercooler an Adam tuned an just amazing. Anyhow congrats on your new car looks great
A representative from Honda UK has already confirmed their production schedule for the US is 6,000 Type R units to be built and shipped to the US by March. Just getting the word out that there will be at least 6 Type R models per US dealership over the next several months. Added Dealer Markup (ADM) should not be around for long. Reading the Civic Forums there are some owners already getting their new Type R for MSRP, so anyone looking to buy one, don't get taken by the dealers, there are plenty to go around.
I'm not crazy about the exterior, I think it looks alright.. but I really like that interior.. and 4 door, 6 speed + 300hp on a car that that nimble, sure seems like a recipe for fun.
I've seen 20+ videos based on this car and the one thing I've seen folks go bonkers for are the seats! Everyone without fail says the seats are so comfortable.
Awesome content my dude..a bit streetspeed 7171 inspired, but thats only good...good work on the e36, just hope you'll keep it nice and dont make it drift turd (to much)...just watched all the e36 vids, so you have a few thumps for the youtube algoritms lol... looking forward to the new vids...keep it up!
Awesome car and nice video. I'll never understand paying over MSRP for a car like this when in 6 months you will probably be able to get them for close to invoice, but to each their own!
Nice car!! Here in the Philippines it goes for $60,000 msrp. Plus dealer markup of about $3,500 - $ 5,000 depending on dealer. Also you cant get any...only 100 arrived. They say all been sold. But Im sure they are just hiding them and will sell only to highest bidder. :(
I really like the interior. I don't like the 20in rims with the really low profile tires and I don't mean the design of the rims I mean the size I personally wouldn't go any bigger than 18 inch.
im glad these are expensive, so theres less idiot drivers lol and u cant compare these to anything elce for sale, theres alot more to the type r than 0-60 times and thats something most car people dont get, only the true honda enthusiasts will ever understand 😂
Agreed. Ima try and get one. I've always wanted a type r and hers my chance. Love the red interior and the exterior really isn't that bad. It's not as ugly as a wrx sti or focus. Love that it actually stands out and can pretty much outperform any car around in its class.
Zachary Mullins 0-60 straightline speed is for the racer-wannabes who arent skilled enough to do real race around bends. 0-60 times serve as a pissing contest for these people.
I can't wait to race one of these cars in my 13 speed3. I'm putting down 297whp and 335wtq with my mods and tune. I don't think the car looks that bad, its just different. It's a little too expensive for a honda. But I get why it is. Congrats on the new car.
s10shane agreed, it was tempting at first but I'm not paying 40~55k for a 300hp car without AWD. I already thought the styling of my EX Hatch was borderline over the top. Even if functional all the extra spoilers and vents are too much for me. Only trading in I will be doing is if they do a Mid-Cycle refresh with more features on the Sport Touring Hatch. Or if I end up going north east to snowboard more often maybe get an Outback/Focus RS. And for the fanboys, yes I'm quite aware the Civic can handle the snow decently. You probably think slip angle is how you wear your dress. My car was FAR from stock and would've absolutely DECIMATED this clown car. Corner-weighted. Ground Control coilovers w/Eibach 350lb. per inch front / 275lb. per inch rear, camber/caster plates, Tokico Illuminas, Precision BB Turbo, GReddy FMIC, GReddy SS exhaust, 3" DP & MP, delrin rr-steer eliminator bushings, Racing Beat f/r Stabilizer bars, Potenza SO-2s on Volk TE-37s, HKS AIC, HKS BOV, Boost Controller, ACT street/strip clutch, pressure plate w/ 11lb. alum. flywheel, Mazdaspeed f/r strut tower braces, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, poly bushings......the list goes on and you're still clueless. Go get an education, you shouldn't even be posting anything that relates to performance cars as it's pretty evident how naive and immature you are.
Command Lion Wow you are really dumb. You got owned and, like a juvenile, you hide behind typo arguments. lol How old are you? Maybe it's not too late for you to get some education. Can't believe you ranted about the flex. lol I can guarantee your frankenstein car would get blown away by the CTR on the track, where real races with skilled drivers happen. Calling names and all about a car, you're fuming jealousy and hate. Insecure much? If you're actually a performance enthusiast you would've welcomed the new addition. But you're just an insecure juvenile hater. Talk about being immature, that's pretty ironic.
Can you comment on the interior noise when driving on the streets / hwy? I'd imagine those rubber band tires are really aggressive and it would be hard to have a conversation in the car at different speeds.. thanks!
ahh...good to hear...thanks for the informative video. I'm in Canada...only one arrived in one the 5 Honda dealerships we have in my city. I've put my name down with a deposit only to reserve a spot to order one in...sales manager told me I gotta wait till march 2018 to get mine. I don't believe him. With Honda UK making so little, it would be a miracle if our city even got more than 5 next year.
+Peter Cho HUM makes about 40 of these a day for the US, almost 5000 have been made and there are probably close to 3000 waiting to be shipped, they're not limited at all dealers are just bullshitting you.
Over 200 Civic Type R's sitting on dealership lots and listed for sale around the country. The potential buyers willing to pay above MSRP is getting fewer and fewer, hopefully it's not long before most dealerships give up on being so greedy. However, California seems to be the worst, they probably won't see ADM go away until the rest of the country is selling for invoice, just a crazy car market in the US. Seems Honda would do SOMETHING for customers instead of sitting back and letting the dealers turn away potential sales due to all the games they are playing, some of them potentially in very bad faith just to squeeze out a few more bucks from buyers.
next year when WE the smart people buy the Type R at regular price.........the idiots who bought it at INSANE prices, would be like.........FUUUUUUUUUCKKKK!!!!
8000RPMS I dont think those people would give a damn how much you'll pay a year from now since they are enjoying their car NOW. On the other hand, you seem to care too much about how much they paid for their car.
Treats On The Streets still pretty pricy. maybe if it was all wheel drive. there's things I like about it and there's things I don't. thanks for the video.
Honda acts like this is a Gemstone, funny how you guys have cars that are nicer than this Type R yet you'd drive this thing. I'm a die hard Honda fan but once I driven an M3/63 AMG, I don't ever want to go back to 4 bangers. Most Dealerships are and do mark em up $15-20k. Fuck that, $50k........ I'm better off getting a gently used M3/63 AMG and they both drive 100X's better......trickle down technology too!
I don't believe I am going to say this after being a Honda loyal consumer for nearly 2 decades but.... Honda is so far behind that they offer Turbo late (behind Hyundai that offered it in many of their models - Veloster, Elantra Turbo SR etc). Then they don't even offer glass panoramic roof let alone one that has sunroof built in ... when they were ahead of the game by having that way back in 1988 in the CRX . FFS Honda ... wake up and stop focusing on just profits. Stay ahead and give more for less which is what got you to where you are now!!
Hyundai surpasses mostly all of its competition on paper. Once you get inside and start playing with the switches, driving the car, and how it especially how it AGES really shows that Hyundai is not one of them.
Congratulations on your new car. The one I ordered came in on the first wave. After a test drive and seeing it in person, I decided not to purchase it. I couldn't live with the horrible looks of this car.( mine was white also). I lost my deposit of course, all good though. Just put a deposit on the 2018 golf r .
Jason Wakuzawa similar. The golf r is dsg and just feels a little faster. The rev hang wasn't pleasant in the type r. The two cars will be close, except from a dig, then the golf r will win every time.
One dealership near me has already gotten 2 different type R's, while the four others in the area have each gotten one. Don't believe the hype about the super limited availability. Honda has not stated how many will be made, I believe they will make as many as they can sell.
+S2kDude36 yeah that's interesting. I know one dealer in Utah got two but it's because they did a trade with another dealer out of state. The one we got this type r from said they have another one being built in November but it won't arrive until early next year. Definitely not worth paying the huge premiums a lot of dealers are asking.
I was just up at one of the dealers at my area and was told they sold their first Type R to a buyer from out of state, they talked like it sold for more than MSRP but the salesman couldn't seem to remember exactly how much it sold for. If I were to buy one tomorrow, I can check on Cars.com and find over thirty dealers advertising a Type R for MSRP. As of a few days ago, there were 115 of them currently for sale in the US. Unless you have $5,000 or more you are willing to throw away, all a potential buyer needs to do is wait a few months, the newness will wear off. The VW dealer near me is willing to sell a Golf R for $4,000 below MSRP, a much better deal than paying $5,000 over MSRP for a Civic.
@@Hot-1LE Sure but the majority of dealers, at least in my area, are only getting MSRP. If you keep an eye out on CivicX.com, you'll find many dealers have given up on the ADM, however, there are plenty of dealers that are trying to sell above MSRP. Every dealer will put a $4k-$5k markup on their window sticker, but that's for suckers. There are even reports of buyers getting the car for $1k below MSRP when they find a dealer that has more than one Type R on the lot.
Everything is functional... according to the sale man. Say what?? Tons of fake grill but they do served a function right? Make it look good but has no function for sure
Yes, I saw that as I watched it later. I really like the car, but I would not pay anything above sticker and TTL. As much I as like the looks and the performance, I can't get out of my head that it took Honda 10 years to make a car about as good as the Subaru WRX STI. However, the interior is much better than the STI, and it is a daily driver. If I were you, I would wait till the hype goes down and get it at a reasonable price, that being sticker.
"motor: a machine, especially one powered by electricity or internal combustion, that supplies motive power for a vehicle or for another device with moving parts."
They don't sell as well here in Toronto Canada, we have a few at our local dealers. The ride is butt pounding harsh and slower than most V6 SUV's with 4WD for the same price. Civic's here are highest in insurance too.
Sorry, I meant the Civic Type R or Si's - most bad drivers here in the GTA drive Civic's and usually cause most of the accidents. Front wheel drive should be easier to drive but people cant drive defensively.
Sorry I meant Civic Si's and the Type R. When we went to buy my dad the new CRV the salesman said a mother bought his son a Civic Si and was paying $800 CAN in insurance. I couldn't stop laughing. The kid had a horrible driving record because he had learned only on Civics and thought those were the best cars. SMH, when will people learn?
hows 'bout it what does his horrible driving record have to do with Honda or Civic?! Sounds like you're just a Honda Civic hater. What SUV are you driving? Did you track it? CTR is a track car. Fast doesn't exclusively main straightline fast unless you can't drive. Harsh ride? Did you actually test drive the CTR? Do you know it has different modes? I think you are a hater, clueless or both.
just saying to hope people realize this but....ughhh does anyone not notice they kind've copied the 370z nismo? rev matching when in sport red accents and and the "special" body kit the r comes with wich halg of the holes are closed off pastic not tryna start a war or bust anyone balls but i don't feel that anyone really noticed this
$35k ??!!, no thanks , still a slow civic. The interior is nice tho, but the exterior like the exhaust and the apparently vortex generator looks hideous.
I got to tell you, if Honda realizes how much the American market loves Type R's and decides to make a short run of Accord Type Rs like Europe had at one time, I will line right up for one!
+Acc0rd79 that would be awesome!
I love the interior of the type r
+Ruben Sanchez it's a really nice interior that's for sure!
First congratulations on your new car! I am also highly interested in Type-R, hope I can learn more about this car on your channel, please keep on! THX!
I own one my self very nice car fun
this is the one my dealership got, a friend of mine did the PDI on it. Very nice car though.
+enrique amaya I agree!
Don't know why people think this car is ugly but I love the mad look of the Type R it just stands out it makes it special.
Really nice when people are in amazement of your ride. Has to really make you feel accomplished. Good luck with the new car.
Championship White is the only way to go.
+B Y my favorite color for the type r!
same but yellow is also good
I loved the white at first. now ill only buy it in black
God I want one. It reminds me of when I got my ap2 brand new.
I'm not crazy about the exterior, I think it looks alright.. but I really like that interior.. and 4 door, 6 speed + 300hp on a car that that nimble, sure seems like a recipe for fun.
The grass down the driveway is pretty cool.
I drive a '17 STI, but I'm sure the shifting is much smoother on the Type R. I ride nothing but Honda motorcycles and that's what they're known for.
Driving it out of those narrow glass doors yourself must be the most intense thing :D
I've seen 20+ videos based on this car and the one thing I've seen folks go bonkers for are the seats! Everyone without fail says the seats are so comfortable.
+Alpha Sierra Alpha they are!
I wanna get one also. I found one out of my state, I hope no one takes it. This would be my first manual.
+Alpha Sierra Alpha you might want to hold off a bit. Rumor has it Honda is releasing a more bare bones type r with a lower msrp in the near future.
I thought it was the new Netgear router
I'm a big dude. I wonder if I would even fit with how aggressive those bolsters are. really want this car!!
+Peter van Diggelen thanks man I appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
Enjoy🙏🙌🔥
+Mike Torres easy to do when driving this car! Thanks man!
Stunning car 👌
just a random thought, dont you need a hand break to drift? How are you gonna do it on this one if its electric hand break
+Next Gem its front wheel drive so not really a good car for drifting. Still would prefer a traditional hand brake though.
Everytime I drive I try to keep a look out for this car. Sadly haven't had any luck to see one in person.
Love the way you presented the car during the start of the video 👍
+matthew ramirez glad you liked it man! Thanks!
Awesome car and nice video. I'll never understand paying over MSRP for a car like this when in 6 months you will probably be able to get them for close to invoice, but to each their own!
+JeffyB thanks man! Yeah, I really think the only way it makes sense to pay over MSRP is if you're a big Honda enthusiast and don't want to wait lol.
Congrats to your badass car! :)
Awesome
+Kyzon Flips it was a really fun car to drive 👍
If this car could stay in the $35k price range i might consider getting one in the future but if not theres always the focus rs and wrx sti
Nice car!! Here in the Philippines it goes for $60,000 msrp. Plus dealer markup of about $3,500 - $ 5,000 depending on dealer. Also you cant get any...only 100 arrived. They say all been sold. But Im sure they are just hiding them and will sell only to highest bidder. :(
That was used FD2 Price In my country Malaysia 🇲🇾 so you guys lucky to own one
Congrats Man
Are they still selling over MSRP?
I don't like this new model but I have to admit it looks very nice in that colour. I would rather have a Focus RS.
I really like the interior. I don't like the 20in rims with the really low profile tires and I don't mean the design of the rims I mean the size I personally wouldn't go any bigger than 18 inch.
+Jesus Saves I would prefer 18's as well. Love a good meaty tire!
im glad these are expensive, so theres less idiot drivers lol and u cant compare these to anything elce for sale, theres alot more to the type r than 0-60 times and thats something most car people dont get, only the true honda enthusiasts will ever understand 😂
0-60 times serve as a pissing contest for these people.
love the car...i just dont understand the cheap blank switches like the 370z nismo. like its specd for highest dollar but its missing options cmon.
I can't wait to race one of these cars in my 13 speed3. I'm putting down 297whp and 335wtq with my mods and tune. I don't think the car looks that bad, its just different. It's a little too expensive for a honda. But I get why it is. Congrats on the new car.
+s10shane nice man I loved my speed3.
s10shane agreed, it was tempting at first but I'm not paying 40~55k for a 300hp car without AWD.
I've driven it up in Nevada with snow pouring and it drives just fine (if you know what you're doing).
This is making 301whp, and only weighs 3k lbs.
Logλn L that's not bad at all for stock. But that car cost twice as much as 13 speed3. I couldn't justify spending that much on that car. But I'm not a Honda fan anyways. I would rather have a wrx, sti, focus rs or 5.0 coyote at that price point.
s10shane if an ms3 costs $25k new and an FK8 costs $34, how is it double?
Only the Stang will be making more power at the wheels stock. None of them will be able to touch the FK8 on a track. That's why it's priced the way it is.
I like all the scoops and the way the rear spoiler wobbles when you close the hatch.
Not telling me anything new. I drove RX-7s for years. My last was '90 FC3S TII that would've crushed this cereal box trinket.
Command Lion yeah your still dumb and ignoring facts lmao. If u can prove that they are fake then I'll believe you.
Command Lion OH AND Ur RX 7 won't even touch this car on any track. Sorry bud. Rx7 is the past.
Talk about being immature, that's pretty ironic.
sick car bro.
Can you comment on the interior noise when driving on the streets / hwy? I'd imagine those rubber band tires are really aggressive and it would be hard to have a conversation in the car at different speeds.. thanks!
+Peter Cho I never noticed it being noisy enough to really stand out. Easy to have conversation on the highway and Bluetooth calls were very clear.
ahh...good to hear...thanks for the informative video.
+Peter Cho wow that's crazy. They definitely are in high demand and hard to find. That's why this one is getting shipped to Hawaii lol.
+Peter Cho HUM makes about 40 of these a day for the US, almost 5000 have been made and there are probably close to 3000 waiting to be shipped, they're not limited at all dealers are just bullshitting you.

How much markup did the buyer end up paying?
+Jay Barrow 5k
Thanks, I hadn't gotten that far in the video yet. :)
+Jay Barrow haha no problem! Thanks for watching!
Google up and they said that there's a awd option coming up in the near future
+henry Sanson that would be great if they end up building it.
They won't, Type R models are all FWD as it's a "brand defining feature" apparently, I asked this at a launch event.
SLC UTAH? OKAY!!!!!!!!!
That tilting tree is a hazard, make sure you keep that thing in check!!
+Victor Pham it has since been cut down 👌
After the new one got revealed, honestly the new one is better. No more fake waffles vents
I like the new one better as well. A bit more grown up.
next year when WE the smart people buy the Type R at regular price.........the idiots who bought it at INSANE prices, would be like.........FUUUUUUUUUCKKKK!!!!
Honda will triple the amount of type R's next year.
8000RPMS I dont think those people would give a damn how much you'll pay a year from now since they are enjoying their car NOW. On the other hand, you seem to care too much about how much they paid for their car.
dysonlu he wanted one but no money.
I WANT ONE!!!!
did you pay the 22k markup?
+SJLGG was bought for only 5k over like it mentions in the video.
Hawaii roughly 8-10k marked up
+808duramax that's why it ended up being cheaper to pay the 5k markup and $1600 to ship it than just buying it in Hawaii 👍
What island is it going to??
Nice vid! Subscribed 👍
+Jason Wakuzawa thanks man! Welcome!
how many type R are they making?
+jim huang I think 6000 in North America but I'm not sure.
wow.. and they're selling it for like $60k US here in the Philippines!
R-02069, nice!
Looks very responsive on the road.
+Daniel Fl. It was a blast to drive!
These can be found for MSRP... Any mark up is a robbery. Shame on the stealership...
Honda dealer kills the hype of Honda civic type r coz of the crazy mark up.
isn't the mark-up like 20 grand, 54k? No thanks!
+Jesus Saves some dealers are doing that. This one was purchased for only 5k over, so about 39k.
Treats On The Streets still pretty pricy. maybe if it was all wheel drive. there's things I like about it and there's things I don't. thanks for the video.
+Jesus Saves for sure. I wish it was awd as well. Not everyone's cup of tea but it has its good points.
+Dickie Byrd haha that's sweet man!
Dealer gouging should be illegal in the US as well but the dealer lobby is too powerful.
Glade you like It , I made it !!!!!!
Wow. At first I thought it was Subaru STI!! $60k 👎🏼
Looks?? This looks like something from Fast and Furious...or should I say Slow and Curious!!
Lazaro Carreiro slow? It's the fastest front wheel drive car in the world idiot
Dickie Byrd A lawnmower.
32lilbruce Fastest forward car is like being king of the short bus. Performance cars should only be made in RWD and AWD.
Come to Canada and buy it at msrp, rather than paying 20k over msrp in america
Would have been very interesting if it were AWD.
40K for a Honda Civic. Never
ur car came from the factory in swindon near where i live :O lol
+ShaDoWhUnTeR ellis haha cool!

it should drive smooth it's a brand new car😁
+Daniel Enochs people complain about the focus rs and sti being too firm and bouncy. Didn't experience this in the type r.
I don't believe I am going to say this after being a Honda loyal consumer for nearly 2 decades but....

+Mad Benco yeah I feel ya man. The looks are pretty wild and it's definitely not for everyone. Golf R is a great car as well.
I love my 2016 Golf R, but the CTR looks great to me. Would've gotten it if the timing was better to be honest.
+William K can't go wrong with either really 👌
Mad Benco how was the acceleration on the type r compared to the golf r?
Jason Wakuzawa similar. The golf r is dsg and just feels a little faster. The rev hang wasn't pleasant in the type r. The two cars will be close, except from a dig, then the golf r will win every time.
Happy New Years 2018
How much did you pay?
+L Mit in the vlog part of the video I show the window sticker and mention how much was paid over sticker. Not as much as a lot of people think!
I could buy one, but why would I / anyone when you can get a RS that is faster, and has AWD for the same price. (In Aus it is )
It's a nice car but..... damn the mark up they did on them. I rather send that on an STI and have a better more enjoyable car with the Subaru.
you dunno how to adjust your seat and steering wheel position?
+Clodoaldo Barros lol I do but didn't really need to
nice car really! awesome video! thank you for sharing! : ))
+Clodoaldo Barros thanks for watching!
did he say it has 76 miles on it...wtf.
+gen13pinoy he was joking lol
+S2kDude36 I like your thought process. Thanks for sharing!
@@S2kDude36 been a few months, type R's here are still 4k+
@@Hot-1LE Sure but the majority of dealers, at least in my area, are only getting MSRP. If you keep an eye out on CivicX.com, you'll find many dealers have given up on the ADM, however, there are plenty of dealers that are trying to sell above MSRP. Every dealer will put a $4k-$5k markup on their window sticker, but that's for suckers. There are even reports of buyers getting the car for $1k below MSRP when they find a dealer that has more than one Type R on the lot.
Touchscreen volume control? I'd rather have my 87 Prelude back.
Idc what anyone says I will pick a Type R over any of the new hot hatches. Especially an RS...this is all coming from a Chevy V8 dude...
Everything is functional... according to the sale man. Say what?? Tons of fake grill but they do served a function right? Make it look good but has no function for sure
HONDA = Hold On, Not Done Accelerating
So did you pay 60K for it?
+Bill Blair haha as the video states the car was purchased for 39k
Yes, I saw that as I watched it later. I really like the car, but I would not pay anything above sticker and TTL. As much I as like the looks and the performance, I can't get out of my head that it took Honda 10 years to make a car about as good as the Subaru WRX STI. However, the interior is much better than the STI, and it is a daily driver. If I were you, I would wait till the hype goes down and get it at a reasonable price, that being sticker.
Bill Blair yes sir . Dealer give me good deal 54 before tax lol🤑🤑🤑🤑 no thanks
this car is better than any shitbarude made, your obviously threated thats why you are commenting here.
Have you done the research to support your claim? Or, are you blidingly just throwing excrement on this thread?
Haters gonna hate
Cars have engines, motors are electric (Electric cars, Some hybrids)
"motor: a machine, especially one powered by electricity or internal combustion, that supplies motive power for a vehicle or for another device with moving parts."
OfficialSandFreak1 umm no, ur wrong. Educate yourself idiot
They don't sell as well here in Toronto Canada, we have a few at our local dealers. The ride is butt pounding harsh and slower than most V6 SUV's with 4WD for the same price. Civic's here are highest in insurance too.
hows 'bout it Ye bro I'm seeing Civics every other car lmao
Sorry, I meant the Civic Type R or Si's - most bad drivers here in the GTA drive Civic's and usually cause most of the accidents. Front wheel drive should be easier to drive but people cant drive defensively.
Sorry I meant Civic Si's and the Type R. When we went to buy my dad the new CRV the salesman said a mother bought his son a Civic Si and was paying $800 CAN in insurance. I couldn't stop laughing. The kid had a horrible driving record because he had learned only on Civics and thought those were the best cars. SMH, when will people learn?
hows 'bout it lmao that's crazy
hows 'bout it what does his horrible driving record have to do with Honda or Civic?!
0:32 Anyone noticed the car suddenly turned into RHD???
+Alex Jai haha good eye man! I was hoping no one would notice that. Flipped the footage for a view from a different angle.
It needs wheel spacers
Coming to Honolulu, HI?
+manchester808 Oahu
Very cool, cant wait to see it
Did you crash yet?
Its not a mustang calm down
How much would brakes be when the time is come to replace them? Lol.
just saying to hope people realize this but....ughhh does anyone not notice they kind've copied the 370z nismo? rev matching when in sport red accents and and the "special" body kit the r comes with wich halg of the holes are closed off pastic not tryna start a war or bust anyone balls but i don't feel that anyone really noticed this
+rx vick props to Nissan foe having rev match so early in the game. I know not everyone likes to use it but it's a cool feature.
its extremely smooth i have it in my z06 i wouldn't even be able to rev match like how it does it
where in SLC??
+Ethan Vang the dealership?
Treats On The Streets yes
+Ethan Vang it's Ken Garf Honda.
+Ethan Vang they were really great to work with. Nice people.
39,000 ???
Those wheels piss me off ... they are so far in .. need some spacers to have them flush with fenders
+KINGKJ2REAL they definitely could use some spacers.
cool car but i wish it had real vents and not fake vents
+Carlos Ochoa most of them are functional but some aren't.
what is a speed3?
+HASE mazdaspeed3
heh I know how to drive fwd cars so that wouldnt bother me. lol But I will check this car out.
why would you get a honda
My local dealer in Cali is asking $56k. In white.
+iggi that's waaay overpriced
There is 3 other Honda dealers within 1 hour drive. Each of those dealers have 2 Type R's. Going there this weekend to check prices.
+iggi I find it pretty crazy they still have some. Every type r in Utah sold the first day they came in, but they were only listed 5-10k over sticker
Never rev an engine without a load on it. Not good for the engine.
It's just not as exciting as when the focus rs came out
$35k ??!!, no thanks , still a slow civic. The interior is nice tho, but the exterior like the exhaust and the apparently vortex generator looks hideous.
Great car , thumbs up.
Dealer gouging Thumbs Down. It's bullshet that cars must be sold through a mafia network of middlemen.
