Steve Miller, my childhood memories are filled with his music. A great artist and legend period.
Great musician Classic LP that stands tall after all these years! Bravo!
Thanks you Steve for all the great hits!!
I was fortunate to see SMB in '77 at the Orange Bowl in Orlando, Florida. What a band!
Today is Steve’s birthday. He’s still playing & singing. 🙂
I can’t believe Steve played with Chuck Berry. He got a master’s degree in blues and rock guitar playing as a 12 yr old.
Lots of people have played with Chuck Berry (RIP). When he toured, he traveled by himself, with one guitar. He relied on the local show promoters to arrange for the equipment and a full band. The musicians had to know every Chuck Berry song, because there weas never any set list. He called the tune and the band started into it.
Fly & Book still remain my favorite albums of all time.
all the best Steve - truly iconic for the ages
Positive was just what I needed to hear as a youngster...thank you SO much!
I saw him in concert two years ago, he told us that he is 70 years old! His voice sounds like a 20 year old, awesome guy & now I know why he is such a brilliant performer! 👌🏽❤️😊
I was born in 70. By the time I was in my early teens I found Steve. Been part of the soundtrack of my life ever since!!!!
Amazing stories/history....thanks for posting
Much respect
Que oido maravilloso tiene Stevé. Es un prodigio!!! Que talento tan especial hace hablar la guitarra. 🤍✝️🤍👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏🙏
Thanks Steve for putting positive front and center.
Love Steve Miller. My brother played his first albums, and then I carried on to his later groovy music. "Fly Like an Eagle" helped me out with some good romance with a lady, so it has a special place in my life. Keep on rockin', Stevie Guitar Miller.
Love the country influence!
Thank you for this. Mallabar's (drummer) from Buffalo, NY. His band Raven from Bflo was woring on hitting it big shortly before Mallabar became session player and did gigs with Steve, Van Morrison, and MANY others; Springsteen for example. My late Uncle John Weitz was the guitarist in Raven. Thanks!
brilliant guy!!!
The men he myth the legend my idol
Saw him in Australia with Santana double. Great show.
It just baffles me that Steve didn't talk about the awesome B3 organ player Joachim Young who played the insanely awesome organ part on the song Fly Like An Eagle. To me, that is the most killer organ part on a rock song ever. The percussiveness, dynamics, timing, and all the nuances on it are incredible.
You are absolutely right. That organ was awesome.
John J Maybe because the piece was about Steve Miller.
And, he mentions how they were a "guitar bass drums" band. I think that other instruments were extras.
I DO agree though. The organ is an integral part of the song.
And thank you for mentioning that.. now I can investigate it myself and check it out..
That was great!
top doc!
awesome, thank you for sharing :)
Thank you. I really enjoyed that.
Genius:)
Great thanks
Why is this man not in the RRHOF? Long overdue.

@@stephenfiore9960 It was a sound they found on an erased tape.

This is an incredibly tame, old man documentary. I was hoping for more sex, drugs and rock n' roll....
