    Thanks, but how do you get such a thick liquid?
    Is it a question of temperature?
    I've tried 180°c and 190°c but it doesn't make any difference... :(
    the gel is still very thin... :(

      what material are you using? ABS or PLA these have different flow rates, also you should keep doing up in temp try 200~210 range. you can also try ABS setting for PLA but either way the pens is meant to extrude at 0.7mm~1mm so that is thin. you are meant to join layers and build on top of the previous one. If you need more help please email help@scrib3dpen.com and be sure to include what pen, what material, what temp, speed setting and what you are trying to accomplish.

      That's normal. You're melting plastic so it's going to emit a smell. Pla is safe but for abs you might want to be in a place with good airflow and a mask if you don't feel comfortable using it on its own.

    • @Scrib3DPen
      @Scrib3DPen  3 года назад +1

      The P1 pen can support ABS, PLA it does not work with glue sticks, the ABS or PLA needs to be 1.75mm filament. Not sure what you mean by do staples work, staples are metal and can't be fed into the pen. That will break the pen.

The temperature is at the normal -190°C and I don’t know what’s wrong I even tried to lower the temperature I turned it off and let it cool down. once I turned it back on and clicked the forward arrow button it smoked up again. What’s the difference between abs and pla?

    • @Scrib3DPen
      @Scrib3DPen  2 года назад

      ABS runs at higher temp, can bend more and hardens in around 3 sec it's also made from oil, PLA runs at a lower temp, can snap rather than bend, hardens in around 6 sec stick to it self more easily and is made from corn starch so it's industrial compostable. It really depends on what you are doing. PLA is good for the mass majority of things ABS is very good for in the air drawing and repairing things made of plastic ie ABS as most thing in our world are made from ABS. Hope that helps.

We have people who use them for education, art, research, arts and crafts, fashion and much much more. 3D pen are versatile tools so I guess you could ask what is the point of hammer or a dermal and the answer would be the same to make stuff. In this case you are making by adding rather then subtracting.
