Finally someone that understands Mycroft. His character is so sad but somehow a lot of people don't care. I really love Mycroft, I want to hug him, constantly ^^;;

He does everything for his ungrateful family. If it was not for him Sherlock would be dead, in jail or have to have a real job. It does seem that Sherlock is finally realising everything Mycroft does for him.
Mycroft is always looking out for the family. Always carrying the can for the family, keeping them safe and now he’s doing it for England. If anyone needs a partner and a break, it’s this guy.
The more each series goes on and on, the more and more I was t to just wrap Mycroft in a cocoon of love a d warmth and hide him away from the world. This version. of Mycroft breaks my heart a little more every time I watch the show.

For a man who says that he is not given to outbursts of brotherly compassion and that caring is not an advantage, he sure does care and show a lot of compassion. I think when he says that caring is not an advantage he is trying to convince himself and seems to not want Sherlock to go through the pain he has experienced in caring for his drug addicted baby brother.
This video hit me hard. As the oldest of 4 I know what it's like not be appreciated for your hard work. Mycroft is (in my opinion) one of the most interesting characters in Sherlock. This video is an amazing combination of editing and great music and timing.
He reminds of Peter Wiggin. He had flaws, he could be cold, but at the end of the day he was trying to make the world a better place. And, even when he was unable to properly express it, he loved his family, even his illustrious little brother.
