- Hey Park Hoppers? We get a ton of questions from people about where to park when visiting Disneyland. There are a lot of people who don't want to make the long walk back to the parking structure after a long day in the parks.

Where do you normally park?
We usually take the ART bus from our hotel to Disneyland, or park at the parking structure and take the tram. I believe that it's the Clementine Line. We stay at Worldmark by Windham across from the Garden Walk.
At the gym
@@yoshiberra5172I’m sorry that you’re in a place in your life where leaving random bullying type comments on someone’s Disney RUclips channel makes you feel like you did something. I hope things get better for you.
I want to thank you so much! We went to Disneyland Saturday nov 27 th and because I watched your video we parked at toy story parking lot! Super quick and easy! I could not have walked the 2 miles to the park and then walked all day! Easy to leave the park as well! Thank you! thank you ! Thank you!!! Best advice ever!! 👍🏼 so grateful to you💛
Aw you’re so welcome! Glad this video helped you so much and made your day more enjoyable! Hope you had a wonderful day at Disneyland!
Awesome information Nick and Crystal!! That is great tip for when we go one day😄🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hopefully by the time you ladies go, you won’t even have to worry about it!
We took your advice and loved it!
Aye! So glad it worked out for y'all. Hope you had a fun trip!
Thanks for this tip, hmm maybe I’ll try soon! I enjoy the tram route, I have a toddler and opening the stroller once and setting up has been so much easier than lugging it around on and off the tram. 😊
You’re the first person we’ve heard say that, but we can totally see it.
Aloha, Mahalo for sharing. I've been worried about the parking, but not no more.😊This will be me and my Ohana first trip to Disney.🤙
That’s awesome, hope you have a wonderful trip! When are you visiting the park?
Great tips! It’s always so interesting to see how different the parking situation is from California to Florida! -S
Your guys parking in Florida is like next level
Going in November, I'll definitely use this tip! THANKS! :)
Yay! Hope it helps, and we hope you have so much fun on your trip!
We parked here today. It wasn't crowded. Went through the security check, so we just walked over to the entrance when we got off the bus. I met you today with my son Anthony 626. Looking forward to seeing more post from you.
It was a pleasure meeting you today, we hope you guys had so much fun. Really glad Toy Story parking worked out for you!
Will park here on our next visit. The walk to the mickey and friends structure after a whole day was horrible and I don’t want to experience that ever again. Thanks for this vid!
That walk is killer after a long day!
Thanks guys! Appreciate all the information you guys provide for us!
Totally hope it helps!
@@ParkHoppingDuo I hope so because I'm too chubby and don't want to do that Mickey and Friends walk. I would be wiped out before I even got to the park 😂

Thank you so much for the tip, I have little ones and will have a stroller thanks for mentioning that part

Glad we can help!
Oh nice! Thanks for the tips!
You’re very welcome!
Thank you for this great information! 👏😄
Thanks! It’s always been our parking lot of choice.
Thank nick and crystal for all your helpful tips😃
Trying to help as much as possible
Thank you for this video! 😊🤗
Glad it helped!
I do in December thanks for the tip!
Enjoy your trip!
I parked in the Toy Story lot on Star Wars Nite. I left a little early, because I was there early, so there was no big crowd. That oarking lot was a nightmare to me! 😄 At night, I was having a really rough time, trying to make my way around. Those signs are ancient and spread out, and the lot was not well lit. At least in the structure, it’s more organized, and I can locate my car much faster. I’m glad you two have an easier time with the Toy Story lot. It might be easier too, because you’ve been to that lot plenty of times. You get used to where different locations are. Well, as usual, I love to see you having fun at Disney parks. Keep being awesome!
Aw I’m sorry your experience wasn’t so great. I can totally see your point, especially at night if you’re not familiar with the lot. The parking structure is lit better for sure
Thanks just saved me from parking here and struggling all night getting out lol
I’ll probably park there on my next trip. I refuse to walk the tram route!
Check it out and let us know what you think! We love how easy it is
I stayed at a hotel two blocks away from this parking lot. Walked in, went through security and at the park in about 8 minutes. And was able to go directly to the entrance without going through Disneyland security. There was a 30 minute wait when I got there too.
Sounds like a great experience! The only time you’ll have to go through security at the park entrance is after they stop doing security checks at Toy Story - which happens after 11am-ish.
We still almost always park at &Toy Story, we just find it easier!
Very helpful thank you !
Glad to help!
Perfect I’ll use this for the family I appreciate it
Anytime! It totally beats walking the tram route back!
Thank you for the tips.
You’re welcome! Hope they help out!
Thank you for sharing
You’re very welcome!
Great video! 😅I’d love to go there one day 😎
Thank you! You totally should, you'd probably have so much fun
thanks for this! I'm going tomorrow and I don't ever want to walk the tram area ever again LOL!
You’re welcome! Park at Toy Story and give your feet a rest on the way in and out lol
Toy Story is the way to go but you’re so right about the late night leaving… it took us about 18 mins to walk to the parking lot from the bus area cuz we (ok I) didn’t want to wait for a bus cuz the line was SUPER long
Yeah it can get bad, but since we usually chill for a while after we usually don’t have any issues.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!
No problem guys! Hope it helps. Just remember the lines at closing can be long for the buses, but we still feel it’s better than walking back to the structure after a long day
thanks were going to use this tip.
You’re welcome! Enjoy your trip!
Have always loved parking here
Heck yeah. It’s a good spot
I really like your Castle 🏰 ears. Is that a headband or are they part of your hat? Love to see a closeup photo. I will definitely be looking for these in the park. Very cool
Thanks so much! They’re from a company called imaginexears. They have their own website and they are on instagram. They are magnetic ears that can suck to a band inside my hat or a headband that my wife uses. We love them, we have 30+ pairs probably
Definitely a good alternative with the absence of the trams.
We loved parking there even when trams were running just because it was less popular than the structure.
Toystory was great until the started providing the discount for magic key holders...before that it was an almost empty parking day or night miss those days 😢
Those were the best days for sure!
Awesome you both have Ads now so very cool. Your Amazing. Congratulations
Aw thank you! That means so much to us

Thanks for the great video! We are going the first week of february and were going to pay extra for the preferred parking in Mickey & Friends. I have heard though that it can be a pain with so many cars trying to get in there. We are trying to be in the disneyland park for rope drop so trying to find the fastest way to get in. Now that the trams are running again is Toy Story still quicker?
They’re honestly about the same speed now. If you’re going to get their door rope drop I’d probably do the parking structure because if it’s busy, you can always easily walk through downtown Disney.
I used this parking lot recently and it was SO easy!
I do have a question though. Can you use the toy story shuttle if you are staying at one of the hotels nearby? It seems convenient to use the security there if possible.
You totally can! We’ve stayed at the hotels by the convention center and just walked over to Toy Story to make it easy!
Thank you for the awesome tip! Do you know when the lines for the bus gets long in the evening? I have a son who has disability and we want to avoid getting stuck in line.
Usually around the same time people get out of work 4:30-6ish it picks up a bit.
I will say if your son uses any type of wheelchair for their disability the parking structure is usually easier to deal with.
Thank you for the video. Could you tell me if the entrance is by Katella or Harbor Boulevard?
I reserved a hotel close by, and I would like to get in by walking.
Thank you in advance.
The main entrance to walk in is on Harbor side! I believe you can also enter on the Katella side as well tho.
Hello! Not sure if you will see this, but does this entrance take you to downtown Disney? Like in between the parks? Or does it take you directly into one of the parks?
It takes you into the area between the parks, so you can enter either park or head into Downtown Disney if you’d like!
Great video! Im going this weekend and was wondering what the prices are at this parking lot??
It’s $25 for normal car parking.
Great Video! How late does the bus comes to pick you up after closing time? & How would I know which bus will take me back?
They run 1hr after park closing and they have a sign that directs you to Toy Story parking. They make it really easy!
@@ParkHoppingDuo thank you for the feed back!
@@JVung our pleasure!
Hi! Do you know what is the earliest Toy Story opens in the mornings? Can I park 1 hour before opening so we can rope drop?
Hi! Toy Story is usually open 1hr before park opening. We’ve made rope drops from there many times!
can you also enter the lot through the clementine / katella entrance? or is that for employees?
We've seen it being used a couple of times - but most of the time it is employees only now.
hello for the strollers will it be placed on the side of the bus or are we bring them inside with us?
You bring them inside with you, but your child has to be out of them and they have to be folded up.
Hopefully you reply, we’re going there next week so how soon does the parking lot open? Do you know when the first bus leaves? I know Disney opens at 8 so we want to be there before 8 lol
The parking lot is usually open by 7am and the first bus leaves shortly after opening. We’ve never had an issue being in by park opening
Me and my family will be going this February. My daughter are still young so I know we won't be able to stay from open to close. We will need to leave to take them naps. But will I need to pay again when I come back?
Nope you won’t have to pay, just make sure you keep the receipt they give you when you park. When you come back you show them that and you’ll be able to park again without charge. It just has to be the same day.
Just came across this video and not sure you’ll see this comment since you posted a year ago. I’m going to Dland soon (Nov. 2022)and staying at the Anaheim hotel. Would it be quicker to walk to the bus in this parking lot and get dropped off at Dland or just walk from my hotel to the harbor entrance and go through security there. The walk to this lot or to Dland harbor entrance appears to be about the same. But I’m curious if the bus would be faster to bypass everyone waiting for security at the harbor entrance. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your help.
Good morning! Honestly I’d just walk from the hotel to the harbor entrance. It’s def a bit closer of a walk and the harbor side entrance has a lot of security check points to go through, so even when the lines look long, they move pretty quick.
Have a great trip!
Can I pay for parking when I arrive? Or do I need to buy it online. Thanks!
You can pay for it right at the parking lot booths. They take cash or card!
Hello sir, just a quick question, where and when do they check the paid parking (onlinereservation)? Thanks
You show it to them at the parking booth right when you pull in
Hello :) we are going on Monday. Is the Toy Story parking still a pretty decent option to get in quicker without having to walk to far to the main entrance?
So sorry for the late reply - hope you had a wonderful trip. We think Toy Story is still pretty awesome - if you parked there we'd love to hear how it went!
To get to the parking is it on S Habor Blvd? Where Morton's The Steakhouse is at? I'm trying to plan ahead because I'm doing to driving up there. 😣👍
Yup! That's exactly where it is.
@@ParkHoppingDuo Mahalo
Just to make sure anyone can decide to park in Toy Story or do the parking attendants direct you where to park
It depends what time of day you get there honestly. If it’s earlier in the day they will usually direct you where to park. Later in the day it is sometimes more of a free for all. Does that answer your question?
Are there vans available for electric mobility scooters at Toy Story parking lot?
No vans usually, but the Toy Story shuttles can take electric scooters and wheel chairs.
Aloha wanted to see about if you had info on rides that are “fluffy guy friendly” thanks
I’m working on something like this right now! Are you planning a trip soon?
How often the shuttle departure through the day? We’re a family who need the middle day naps 😅
The shuttles run basically all the time. There can be a 5-10 minute delay sometimes but it’s rare, especially now.
Does anyone know if the trams are being used?
Trams still aren’t running from the parking structures. That is why we like to park at Toy Story parking lot
How much was it to park for the day? Do you have to pay for the bus ride?
Parking is $30 for standard vehicles (same price at the Disney parking structure). You do NOT pay for using the bus from the Toy Story parking lot. It’s all included just like the tram is if you park at the parking structure.
Does the shuttle charge for transportation?
It does not! It is completely free. The only charge is if you park there in the lot, then it’s normal Disney parking fees.
Does anyone know if the parking is good for multiple entry or do I have to pay again if I exit?
You can leave and return without issue as long as you keep your receipt and your parking pass slip. When you come back you just show that and they’ll let you back in.
I’m going to park here coming from AZ with mask though :)
Thank you for this video
Awesome! We def love to park here, and bringing a mask is perfect since you'll need it when you get on the bus. Hope you have so much fun on your trip!
Thank you yes will do ! I’m so excited but parking would be very helpful and the video I have sent it to 5 other people lol ! God bless
I went sat and almost died walking that tram course into park. Lol a big girl and got tired I go next month again Soo thx
Totally understand. Walking the tram route back after a long day can really suck. Hope this works so much better for yah!
How is security for this one?? Is it still just a hands on search or do your bags go thru a detector??
It’s just like the parking structure - just a quick bag search and metal detectors. If you show up after around 11 though, there is no security usually and you so bag check at the Harbor side of Disneyland
Thank you so much for responding!! Do they also offer the little bowl for all electronics to be put in? & for 2023 are security always out there now or over for a period of time?
@@ryanortiz5836 anytime! No bowl for electronics, you just put it on the table while you go through the metal detectors. They’re only out of a bit at Toy Story but they’re there all day at Harbor side entrance where the buses drop off at.
hi there. Is the bus is free to rides if you park at this parking spaces?
Yes it is! Just jump on the bus at the Toy Story parking lot!
@@ParkHoppingDuo thank you. Is toy story parking garage is closer to the main entrance or micky mouse?
@@changw9482 it’s similar in distance, but it is off of Disney property. You’d have to walk down Harbor to get to it if you wanted to walk.
As far as distance where they drop you off near the park it’s pretty much the same as the distance from the tram drop off.
Is the shuttle free? If I walk over from the hotels
It sure is! Just walk over to the Toy Story lot. Walk along the left sidewalk and it will lead you right to a path through the parking lot and too the pickup zone. We've used it many times when staying at a hotel near there, as it is more reliable that the hotel transportation (if the hotel offers it at all).
What time it closes?
They normally stop running buses 1hr after Disneyland closes.
Hi what time is a good time to arrive
The parking lot usually opens up at 7am.
@@ParkHoppingDuo thank you
How much is the parking
Parking is $30 for each car or motorcycle
So don’t park in the other ones, park at this one and it has a tram. So we don’t have to walk the pain in ass 20 min one
Exactly! This one has a bus that takes you there! The downside is sometimes the lines can get long especially right before park closing.
Is this California Disneyland
Yes it is!
How much is parking
Normal parking is $30 and preferred parking is $45.
I tried parking there and it was closed :( I went to the Pixar Pals and took the tram it was ok
Aw bummer it was closed! If it was this past weekend there was a convention at the convention center so sometimes it gets busy there
@@ParkHoppingDuo oh ok that makes sense yeah it was last Friday
Toy story is in Pixar parking?
Good morning! No Toy Story is it’s own outdoor parking lot off of Harbor just below Katella. In this lot, like I show in the video you take buses to the east side entrance of the Disneyland resort.
Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals are the two parking structures off Ball. When you park there you take the tram which drops you off at downtown disney in front of World of Disney store, which is the west side entrance for Disneyland Resort.
Both are great options and have their own pluses and downsides depending on the time of day you go. We personally prefer Toy Story, especially in the morning as it’s usually less crowded.
Hope this helps!
Hi
Can I park my Rv there?
They do offer oversized parking there, but only while the park is open. You can’t overnight park there.
@@ParkHoppingDuo thank you, we went last week and like you said I was able to park my RV for the day, I appreciate your information 👍🏼
