With the support of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, the artists of ROCK ED PHILIPPINES got together to produce this song. Many many artists came together for this piece. The animated video was created by Arnold Arre. The song was composed by Francis de Veyra of RadioactiveSagoProject. Lyrics by Gang Badoy of Rock Ed. The song is part of Rock Ed's ROCK RIZAL album, a collection of songs in celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Filipino hero Jose Rizal.

This video shows how great a potential the filipino animators have. Bakit hindi kaya nila maisipang gumawa ng full length featured film taz ipalabas twing MMFF para maopen ang mata ng masa sa galing ng pinoy! O kaya anime series...! This is very very good i must say! Kudos to the animator!
Kung di dahil sa videong ito, tuluyan ko na sanang nakalimutan ang pagka Pilipino ko. Ngunit nang maipakita ito ng guro namin, naantig talaga ang puso ko. Sir, Idol ko po kayo. Napaiyak nyo po ako. Ako man din ay nangarap at patuloy na nangangarap na makagawa ng isang animation na kagaya nito. Sir kung alam nyo lang po kung gaano ako kasaya nang makita ko itong videong ito. Sana darating ang araw na umunlad na talaga ang Pilipinas. Mabuhay po kayong lahat!

nkaka amaze ang mga animation nyo ako po ay isang 4thyr highschool at mrami akong ntutunan sa lhat ng post nyo simple itong tignan kung pnonoorin ng isang taong hindi bukas ang pagiisip sa kapaligiran ngunit bilang isang pilipino nakakaproud lng na may mga taong gustong igugol ang mraming oras nila sa paggawa ng mga malilikhaing mga istorya at animation hindi pra mkakuha ng mraming views kundi maibahagi ang kaalaman para sa kabataan. para sa akin npaka meaningful nito sapagkat lhat ng bgay o simbolismong ginamit dito ay may malalalim n kahulugan at may importansya sa kasalukuyan. ipagpatuloy nyo po sana ang paggawa ng mga gnitong animation at patuloy akong susuporta.
Ang Galing pagkakagawa ng video na ito lapat na lapat sa Kanta....ramdam na ramdam ko ang pagiging makabayan sa kantang ito.
nakakatindig balahibo ang kanta at animation na ito. Ang hirap gumawa ng essay! Parang lahat ng gusto kong sabihin andito na. Thumbs up sa Rock ed!
Recently ko lang nakita vid nito sa "K" channel (yung educational channel), and I must say, though hindi masyadong fluid yung mga movements ni Rizal mismo, very creative, and superb pagkakagawa nito, especially near the end. As an anime/manga fan, this makes me proud na may Pinoy na kayang gumawa ng animation of this caliber.

I'm so glad to find patriotic Filipinos exerting efforts such as this wonderfully inspiring, awakening and nationalistically inclined Filipino music.. the only missing factor why Filipinos can't achieve progress is "absolute unity".

Naiiyak talaga ako tuwing pinapanood ko ito... :'( makailang beses ko na itong napanuod mula nang pinanood ito sa amin nung essay writing contest.. tumatak na sa puso ko.

Bravo! Another patriotic work by a great Filipino mind, seeking the order for us to realize the full consequences if we still continue to do things that was never even a good thought for our country. That is all of the 1521 Invasion, 1898 Independence and all of the bloodshed will go to waste, as if they were just casted off by the winds of our mistakes. It's not to late to change, we can start a brand new start from the dawn of hope and it shall be there forever. Let us act now! I mean it, now!

Very excellent! I was very moved when I saw this and had internalized it. As a teacher I will be showing this to my students (medyo malalim lang ung symbolisms sa lyrics kaya medyo mahihirapan ung mga 1st year students ko, hehe). sana po merong version nito na mei lyrics subtitles so that we can analyze the lyrics per line. I believe its imperative for students to see and understand this. thank you sir and more power!

Globally =)) Pero po yung drawing nyo po sa tao, I mean yung pagkaanimate nya, konting improve pa po:D Kasi mejo stiff pa sya gumalaw hindi yung smooth na movement na bumabagay sa back drop.
