- We drove to Tobermory from Niagara Falls for a weekend camping getaway. Total drive each way was approximately 382 KMS and it took about 4.5 to 5 hours to drive to arrive at Tobermory from Niagara Falls. Located at the top of the Bruce Peninsula, Tobermory is a lakeside town surrounded by crystal clear water, the majestic Niagara Escarpment and is home to Flowerpot Island along with two national parks.The Tobermory landscape offers an unparalleled experience. The towering cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment provides a background to some of the most beautiful vistas in nature. The Bruce Trail offers some of the best hiking experiences on the Peninsula.

Below are the links for booking Cruise/Boat ride to & from Flower pot island, if you are visiting the flowerpot Island (It’s a must visit destination when in Tobermory). I would highly recommend booking at least a week in advance if you are visiting during weekend/holidays as they sell out fast during weekends/holidays. Nature always surprises with its beauty! We were lucky enough to visit this beautiful harbour village & get lost in the beauty of nature. Tobermory & the entire Bruce peninsula is worth visiting if you are a nature lover like us. ⛰🌳🌊☀️

Yeah I made a reservation but they are saying they will give me site number when I will check in
They said the provide site number only if reservation’s are for 7 days or more
Can we select site number while checking in?
@0007sarbjit I see, yes, that’s correct. They assign site number once you check in because most of the times they are booked during summer. We have been there 3 times and always they have provided great service and assigned good site spots. When you get there may be try to request them, you might get lucky 😊 Do share your experience, have fun!
