She tried to setup one of the most intelligent humans living on this planet right now. She was looking for one clip she could put on Twitter, but Joran is too good at using his words. One of my favourite comments of his was "if you call a plumber in , it's 99% probable it will be a man. That doesn't mean there are roving bands of tyrannical male plumbers".
She spent the entire interview telling HIM what HE said and he spent most of it telling her why she got what he said wrong which caused the entire episode to basically go nowhere. It was like sitting in your car on a sheet of ice and continuing to press the accelerator while spinning your wheels.

I've seen this interview three or four times and I'm always amazed at Jordan Petterson's cold-bloodedness in the face of the interviewer's clear and even offensive distortion of his words. Her desire to confirm the prejudice she clearly reveals is such that she demonstrates a lack of intelligence that I can't even imagine she possesses. It's sad to see the self-willing death of what I believe to be a healthy brain. Props to Jordan! He never lost his North...

Now chage that female friend to a male friend who's 40, do you think you'll give the same advice?
The point is, a single man at 50 can have a family with 4 kids no problem, a single woman at 50 on the other hand probably can't

I can say I am a feminist, in full support of equal treatment for females. JP has a great point. This differs from equal outcome.
Please excuse me for being forward, we have many wonderful black woman in America, I have been all over this country, however, I would be very hard pressed to find any as positively STRIKING AS the 3 of you. What he means by getting your life together quicker is…. Generally speaking women have time limit for the best years physically especially when it comes to have children that men don’t have
So women have settle down sooner than men do… men can have children even when they’re old whereas women can’t
The Major problem is with this discussion is that, clearly both the people in this video are living in 2 different realities. Jordan Takes all the information that is around for an understanding of the world he lives in. Where she just takes 1 fact at a time and says that the ones she does not like should be changed by force. VERY BAD WAY TO SEE THE WORLD. That would be like, having your pet run over by a car, because the car tire is what took your pets life you start a major movement on getting rid of all rubber tires in the world because they are deadly to animals. This is a very stupid and dangerous way to see the world. Even if your intentions are just, the things you end up changing in the world, more times than not, are going to make everything worse, not better. The more info you have to make a change is better, not one fact at a time.

Men and women are not equal, women have strengths men dont and men have strengths women don't, 🤷♂️ we are different but if we choose each other well that mix is beautiful and another generation will be produced with both parents working together with their childrens health and wellbeing as their highest priority, this is the natural order, the way nature intended 🙏

Like your videos. I'll look out for your content over on TikTok. You will learn alot from Dr Peterson. What I believe he's saying is that the reason why there are only 7 women heading up top FTSE companies is because they're the ones who have chosen to make the sacrifices required to get there. Male or female if you want to get to the top you have to work and not expect it to be handed to you because of your gender. Does that make sense

One thing that always bothers me is this woman's statement that female employees at BBC are illegally being paid less then male employees. Well, if it is true, it is illegal. So, take them to court. I mean if this "oppressive patriarchy" went so far as to make what you claim illegal, the lest these affected women can do is file a lawsuit.

Ladies; a man can get married later (establishing his career longer), Marry someone younger to start a family with, keep working. Women have a time frame to contend with. Women tend to choose Carter’s that are less demanding (they want balance; family, social, etc) men tend to work long hours, be much more competitive, etc.

Hello from Finland! One of those most equal countries in the World! We have Universal Education-Free Education for everybody. So no matter man or woman or anything else, you can study what ever you want and as "high" level as you want, like PhD, for free. And women are dominating the amount of very well educated people. But like he said, much more high educated women are not "willing" to sacrifice their whole life to work. So they do not necessary pursue the most high paying jobs. But also, like he said, in many professions women are dominating and making much more money than men. We gave women the right to Vote and run for an Office in1905, as the first country in Europe and second in the World. So like him, we have also a lot of empirical and scientific evidence to back these claims, just like Mr. Peterson. And that is the same case in all Northern and Scandinavian Countries. And in many EU-Countries also. And we are the "Happiest Country in the World for the 5th time on a row. And all Northern Countries have never been out of the top ten. So something is working, we are doing something right here in Europe?!
He didn't say your kind of system didn't make people happy, simply that when people had the free choice of jobs they chose jobs which their sex would typically go for. Very few women will choose to work as a hod carrier or on an oil rig.
I always wished that his follow up question was "If you don't say why it exists then how do you fix it?". It's a pretty basic problem solving question....
His point about women having to figure out their lives faster than men is purely on a biological and reproductive standpoint. Past 35 both men and women become less fertile, however the effects are much more drastic for women.
For the most part, all that happens to men is a reduction in sperm count and overall testosterone, resulting in less consistent erections and lower libido. But all in all, most men are still able to procreate until at least 45-50
However for women, pregnancy becomes more and more dangerous, for both her and the baby. There are higher rates of miscarriages and stillbirths, lower fertility rates, and more risk of harm to the mother by the fetus. And every single year she ages, the worse the odds become for her.

I'm taking neither side except the woman is very angry and not debating while the man is calm and giving the reasons things are what they are.
90% of all dangerous jobs are done by men, is that because there is a prejudice against women or is it because they choose not to do the dangerous jobs that often pay more? I think it is because they choose not too and that is just one factor that contributes to the pay gap, choice.
I worked in manufacturing for 40 years and never say a situation where man got paid more to do the same job that a women was doing, never.

I believe what he means by having to get your life in order by 35 is that, due to biology, a male can potentially decide to have a family late in life if he is so inclined, whereas a woman will find it increasingly difficult to have children late in life if she has for example focused on a career instead of a family into her 40s/50s.
