Not aware of/interested in the dynamic between the hosts, but MK is a delight. Although spelt differently her surname is entirely appropriate.
Well, she half-Filipina and having been to the Philippines several times, I can confirm that they eat all sorts of 'exotic" animals there, such as rats, dog, frogs, civet cats, monitor lizards, snakes, fruit bats, locusts, ant eggs, mole cricket etc. So eating mouse tails isn't exactly a challenge for many Filipinos.
